Lost a star due to production failure - read on. *UPDATE*
I purchased this 24" mount as to insure no issues with wall studs and was super glad I did. Although I could have checked with my stud finder before purchase, I actually liked the wider mount anyhow and the extra versatility of mounting it provides. I noticed when I received it that it was built very sturdy and weighed very heavily. I put the mount up early as to have it done when I purchased my 65" television to put on it which was delivered yesterday. I decided to put in a couple of extra screws into the wood on the top side of mount as this gets all the pull from the weight. When I pulled it out to put in the extra screws I made an extremely scary discovery. On the top right as your looking at the mount mounted on the wall, the screw and metal corner bracket was missing from the mount. First thought was I am super glad I caught this issue since if I were to hang the tv on the mount and not caught this problem, my tv could have fell off of it and hit the floor! For that top rail not to be supported like that is needless to say a HUGE mistake in building the mount. Then, I started checking EVERYTHING on the mount, and every screw. Some screws were a bit loose and I tightened them, but other than that, all was ok. I had a hard time putting the tv up on the mount by myself, and some of you might say I should have had help. Well, I am strong enough and it wasn't a problem for me to lift, but after 2 failed tries I had to go get a large mirror and set it at the proper height and over to the side so I could use it to see the hooks to hang it on the mount. This got me thinking the mount could be made better to ensure it catches the top rail easier than it does when hanging. Also I noticed the metal the hooks are made of is very easy to bend and gives me a lack of confidence as to it's strength, but might be done on purpose as to be able to adjust them a little. Overall I would not hesitate to buy this mount again if needed, but I would be very intensely inspecting it completely to ensure it's build quality. I can't imagine how mad I would be if my 4K TV got broken due to a failure of the mount allowing it to fall off. Oh, luckily there was a screw that had the same thread pattern in the bag of screws, and although longer than the one that should have been there, it fit just fine. I took the metal corner bracket off the bottom side of the rod and put it on the top as it should be stronger at that point since I was shorted one of those corner brackets. Cheetah most certainly needs to be aware of the production failure and take steps to prevent it from happening! ***UPDATE*** I am far later than I should be to post this update, but the company quickly credited me 40% of this mount after seeing this issue. They informed me they are aware of the manufacturing problems and are working diligently to fix. I have raised the bar to 5 stars as these folks are the best to ensure their customers are happy. I have also posted a couple of pictures to illustrate just how great this mount is for access. It pulls out almost 2 feet from the wall. In the photo of behind the TV you can see the missing corner bracket on the bottom. It really isn't an issue, it was missing along with the screw to hold the rod on top, I just moved the corner bracket to the top as that is where all the weight stress is. I would not ever hesitate to buy this mount, and personally the 24" is so much better to ensure you can get to at least 2 wall studs. As I stated, it saved me big time as I had more than 16" between studs, probably because of another wall for the bedroom is behind this wall a ways in from the left edge of TV. Please note that if you pull this mount out all the way as I have in the photo, with it's double articulation you need to reach behind and spread the back side of it out a bit to push it back against the wall. This is not any flaw of the mount, just mechanics of how it's designed to give you the distance it has to come out away from the wall. CHEETAH - YOU ROCK!

Great mount so far.
Works great so far. They instruction mention placing the tv brackets so the adjustment screws will be outward on each side. Both of mine are on the left, so one is accessible and the other isn't. Not a bid deal since i adjusted prior to hanging on wall mount. Kit could also include the optional pin and do away with the laughable "level", or tiny flash light included. I can't speak to the HDMI cable that's included other than to saying seems like a low grade quality compared to other brands I'm already hooked up with. Overall the mount is a great buy so far!

Sturdy mount for 55" TV
Sturdy mount and easy to install. Package arrives with the wall mount, installation hardware, spare HDMI and a 3 way level to help installing. Installation is easy. Locate your studs - mine were 12" apart and the mount was able to accommodate, drill 2" holes before screwing in the mount. I used this for a 55" Samsung smart TV and used the extreme end of TV brackets. Not sure if the bigger TVs have wider holes than mine but this was the outer limit for this mount. Once both sides are tightened, you simply hang the TV on wall mount and tighten the lower screws to lock it in. There is a wobble in the stand and no matter how much you 'lock' the tilt adjustment, it just tilts downwards. Maybe I'll try the pencil trick from one of the reviews. Overall, the stand is sturdy and I do not think it will come falling out any day soon. ----------- edit on 08/24/18 : Seller reached out 2 weeks ago asking about the wobble issue. They sent a free replacement of their heavier model APDAM2B. 5 stars for the customer service and reaching out out of the blue. Very impressed !

Good weight capacity
Good weight capacity, good installation accessories. My problem is that the mount is on the narrow side - just over 16", so you're forced to put it exactly between two studs. In my application, I needed to center it on a stud, so two lag bolts went in to the stud and I used four butterfly bolts to shore up the outside edges. 24" width mounts allow you to move anywhere and still catch two studs. Update: The vendor does sell a wider mount which will allow the screen to be positioned anywhere and catch two studs; my mistake for not being more careful in picking it out. Customer service is excellent, though - upon reading my review, and without being asked, they shipped me a wider mount, which we very much look forward to trying on our next project. That kind of 'do anything to make the customer happy' support is rare, and very much appreciated.

Just buy it. I doubt there's anything else this good at this price pount.
VERY well made mount. I've bought $200+ mounts where I work that aren't any nicer than this. Nothing is loose or wobbly. For the surgery center I work at, we buy $200+ Ergotron mounts all the time. This is every bit as nice and sturdy as the American made Ergotrons. Take note that the level included has a magnetic side. As the saying goes, "Measure twice, cut once." Use that level to make sure it's perfectly level on the wall, mark the locations you're going to put the bolts in at, and everything else is a breeze. If you have a drill, this thing takes maybe 15 minutes tops to get setup. The HDMI cable is great too. Supports 4k without any flickering or artifacts. I'm not sure how they made something this nice for 30 bucks, but I sure am not complaining!

Solid mount that holds 65" TV straight with ability to rotate all angles.
Mount works great on my 65" Samsung NU8000. I had to buy extra M8 50mm bolts to secure the bottom because of Samsung's extra long holes for bottom of bracket. So note that if you have large Samsung TV. The mount sagged and titled at first but I figured out that you just need to tighted the bracket that connects to the TV with screw driver and wrench to get it tight and then it won't tilt when you put your TV on. The mount goes in and out well and can be adjusted side to side a bit off of center. Works great in my family room that is wide and has couches off center. See in picture how straight and level the TV is.

Sturdy, secure and simple
This may be one of the best bargains you can get when it comes to television accessories. This TV mount is very solid, strong and it’s quite simple to install. Some people have mentioned the tilt is too much. Take note of the instruction manual where you are able to insert a pin into the bracket in order to keep the television more upright. They say the pin is optional but I just ended up using one of the smaller screws that was originally intended to be used to mount the brackets to the back of the television. The included HDMI cable the level and the small flashlight is a nice touch.

Great customer service, Great articulating mount
I have a very light 55" LED tv and this did not support the weight well. It works great as a fixed mount, but as soon as you extend the mount one side will sag. I've hung dozens of TV's with articulating mounts and this one was by far the lowest quality. I've had Cheetah slim non movable mounts that work great, but this one as well as another single arm mount I purchased from Cheetah all lack in structural support and sag when extended. UPDATE: I received a replacement mount as it was determined mine was defective. The new mount is much more structurally sound and holds my TV without sagging. Great product and great support from Cheetah.

Just buy it! For the price, no others can compare!
This is an honest and true review of this item, which I purchased full price on Amazon.com: I purchased this to mount our 55'' Panasonic TV. I came out of the other room and our 2 year old daughter had gotten up on our entertainment center and was rocking our TV, like she was trying to shake a coconut from a palm tree. Obviously we didn't want it falling and hurting her so it was time... I have hung a few other TVs in the past and never was really happy with the quality of the mounts. This one surpassed my expectations. I got a recommendation to use this mount from my father-in-law who works in the tech industry. He told me they use these mounts around their offices because they are the best for the price. Others were reporting in the reviews that the screen tilts/the mount flexes too much when extended. I have NOT had similar results. The instillation was pretty standard, stud-finder, measure, mark, pre-drill and install. The mount was able to hold me up, no problem at 160lbs although it’s only rated for 110lbs. I personally agree with others in these reviews, that you should get a mount that is rated for double what your TV weights and NEVER use wall anchors (even though the kit includes some). If you do have to use wall anchors make sure you get a zip toggle type hats actually designed to support the TVs weight. One other recommendation I would like to make for the manufacturer. You have people that are able to measure properly and find studs properly. You also have people that can’t...the holes on the mount for 16'' studs are at the VERY VERY end of the mount. You should add just a little bit of extra metal to the ends and people can adjust as they need.

Highly recommend this product!
Crazy great product for the price! How can the other brands charge so much compare to this one, that in my estimation does an even better job than they do?! This was very simple to install. I did it with no help. It even comes with it’s own level and a very nice hdmi cable! I have to agree with the other reviews about the tilt not really being totally functional, which is the only downfall I could find, but that doesn’t matter much to me because I like mine being fully tilted downwards anyway. I would attach pictures of the inside but I don’t want to articulate it away from the wall because I have a lot of wires tucked behind it. I used it to cover up one of those hateful holes above my fireplace. The black thing hanging over the tv is my next project - it’s the ugly tv antennae that i had to balance up there so I could get a good signal :( I lag-bolted 2 2X6 pieces of lumbar to the wall from the inside and attached this to to it. That sucker ain’t going anywhere!
