As someone who suffers from carpal tunnel, I've been a customer of Mueller for years. My previous glove also had the splint, but it came up my hand more. It was nice that it allowed either hand, but it was obtrusive to type with. As a medical transcriptionist student and a gamer, that was a slight issue. Now I can comfortably wear my brace during the day while typing and have full function of my fingers. I thought, perhaps, that I wouldn't like the fact that it doesn't go as far up my arm as my previous one, but I guess that feature was unnecessary. It doesn't say it in the product description, but the box reads "fits slender wrists". It took me like 30 minutes to decide whether I wanted to get the s/md or lg/xl. My previous braces were medium, but I'm glad I didn't go with the s/md. As a 5'4" woman with relatively slender wrists, the lg/xl fits perfectly. I'd probably recommend the smaller size to anyone around 100lbs or children. As someone who's environmentally cautious, the recycled materials were definitely a plus! It was one of the main deciding factors. The materials are great quality, it's breathable (I'm a Floridian, so this is great to know) and the logo is nice! Sometimes I'll wear my brace in public, I'll be happy to rep this logo and promote the use of reusable materials. While the green lining doesn't show, it's a nice kelly green and adds a nice touch that only I can see. I'll be ordering the "right" brace soon. I hope that it'll be the same quality!
I am SO happy with this purchase! I have severe carpel tunnel & had lost my brace. I had ordered one and didn't like it because it didn't have the metal splint in it & with how bad my carpel tunnel is I have to have that extra support. I returned it and got this one in and it is perfection. It's the best wrist brace I've owned and I've owned four different kinds. It's easy to put on, easy to adjust, it has the metal splint in it and it's breathable. It's the first brace I've ever owned that I can actually sleep in - all the others were to uncomfortable or made my wrist to sweaty. Like some of the other reviewers pointed out, greens a bit of an odd choice to put inside but you can barely notice it once tightened. Also, I LOVE that they went the extra step and put a piece of fabric inside so that the Velcro part (if you have a bigger wrist) won't rub against your skin. None of my other braces had that. This brace is 5/5 stars and I'd highly recommend this to anyone with carpel tunnel. (Make sure you select which wrist and which sizing you want!)
It works! I do this strange thing. I bend both my wrists when I sleep. I know,.... the old joke.. "Doctor it hurts when I do this.." ...... and the Doctor replies... "I've got just the thing! Don't do that!"... But I can't help it! It's unconscious! I'm sleeping!! THE ONE THING I WOULD RECOMMEND IS THAT UNLESS YOU HAVE SMALL WRISTS GO UP A SIZE. I am pretty big boned for a woman (7-7 1/2 inch wrist, size 10 shoe). Since it said it was unisex and was appropriate for up to an 8 inch wrist, I got the small/medium. It was too small. I tried it on my 10 year old daughter that is petite in general and it fit her perfectly. So for those that were on the cusp.
I recently purchased this as I was starting to get some early signs of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on my right hand from all the computer work I do. I work in IT, so I am on the computer most of the day. I found this product to be a lower cost than ones you could find in most drug stores, so I thought I would give it a shot. Wow, it started to make a difference in relief right away. My pain was a dull constant ache throughout my right wrist and hand. This made a huge difference within a couple days. It provides some relief while wearing it while I work, but it does limit functionality. I can operate a mouse and keyboard ok, but not nearly as well with the brace, so I choose to use it minimally while I work and then at times where I don't need to be doing a lot of writing (very hard to do with this), typing, or using my mouse I would wear it. Found wearing it while sleeping to be the best thing to provide relief. But how does it feel? My hands are not big so the medium/small fit perfectly. It is very comfortable and is not bulky or cumbersome. the simple strap layout is very easy to use and should not require any assistance getting it on. the lining is soft and comfortable and it looks good when it is on, which is a surprise as other wrist straps I have worn don't have a good aesthetic about them. This manages to look good, be comfortable, and do exactly what it is meant to do. I would easily purchase another. Another bonus, it does not cause my palm and wrist to sweat too bad to where it gets uncomfortable. It breathes nicely. If you don't find that it works for you, try it on while sleeping, it really helps, and try a different size if it is uncomfortable.
I have tendonitis is my wrist and shoulder from repetitive strain injuries. Sadly, the repetitive strain is part of my job and I cant stop lifting for three months to let it fully heal on its own. This has done a brilliant job at keeping my wrist secure and stable. It felt significantly better after just a couple of days. It is also pretty well designed and can be worn all day with minimal discomfort. They are also very durable. I wear these for 12 hour shifts and put them through more abuse than they could ever have been designed to take. They have handled it all for months of continuous use and show no signs of tearing or serious wear. The only thing I can think of to make it better is to make the opening where the four fingers go through a but smaller. As it is I have to tighten it down more than is comfortable just to keep it in contact. Again, this is a small complaint and I still love it and highly recommend it. I have used other Mueller products and so far can say that their entire line [that I have used] is well designed and well built. Don't spend more than you have to. You wont get better support. This option is very reasonably priced, preforms very well, and stands up to hard use. The renewable materials are a nice plus.
I don't have carpal tunnel nor any hand injury that any chiropractor can locate... I think it's joint laxity which is genetic for me since all my joints are super loose. I got tired of visiting the chiropractor so my husband wondered if this product would help me. For example, anytime I lift my water jug my right wrist 'hurts'. It's a dull low level 'discomfort' that's located on the posterior aspect of my wrist. Anyways, I started using this at home and while sleeping. I only take it off when I leave the house. It's only been a couple of weeks but this product is freaking awesome! And half the price of my copay to visit my chiropractor (which didn't provide much relief nor diagnosis for my discomfort). This product is specific to the right or left wrist not both. So buy for the correct side. I will definitely be buying this product for my left wrist soon.
WHY I BOUGHT IT: My wife tends to keep her wrist bent in a painful position while she sleeps. I decided to buy this brace (together with the right one), as I was looking for something that would support her wrist while letting her move her fingers. DOES IT WORK? My wife loves this wrist brace for multiple reasons: - First of all, it's not expensive at all, given its quality. - It fits my wife's tiny wrist perfectly. - She is able to adjust the brace by herself, using her other hand, as the straps cannot be opened all the way. - It fully supports her wrist, while allowing her to perform activities such as reading or using her phone. - It's very rigid in the wrist area, but it's not heavy at all.
I have a slight twinge of repetitive motion injury in my right wrist (I've been typing for 30+ years) and I decided I need a proper wrist brace/stablizer and not the cheap crap I can find my my local pharmacy. This one was both economical yet provides very good stability. It seems I have a relatively large wrist, as I had to release both hook-n-loop tabs to fit my hand in, then reinsert them to tighten. Once fitted and tightened, it is actually quite comfortable. The inside material appears to be microfiber, soft like velour. There are two hard "spines", one top and one bottom to prevent the wrist from flexing. And they are quite hard. I can still type with them on, but the motion is a little unnatural as my wrist is not completely flat. I've worn these for hours at a time, and provided you don't over-tighten them, they are quite comfortable. I guess my only nitpick would be maybe make the "bottom" hard spine quarter inch shorter. Right now they sort of jut into the palm when the hand is in a semi-closed (half-fist) posture.
Overall, the “Mueller Fitted Right Wrist” was just what I was looking for! It helped minimize my wrist pain in less than two weeks and provided much needed relief which I couldn’t get from other sources! Support and Use: With a very good support on the bottom section of the item, it felt much more ergonomic than other products I have tried. It ensured minimal hand movement, helping provide the much needed rest and heal the injured muscles. I felt the relief immediately after wearing it for about a day. It has been two weeks of use and I feel my wrist is progressively getting better! Comfort: The items has a soft and comfortable green cloth like material on the inside which make it very comfortable if you like to wear the brace for the entire day like me! Fit: I ended up buying the small size, however it seemed a little loose for my hand. My initial reaction was the section near the thumb was quite tight. However after use for about 2 weeks, it seemed much more comfortable and intuitive. Packaging: It was quite easy to unwrap the product and start using it. I often depend on others leaving honest reviews when I need to order a new item. I find that one of the most difficult things about ordering online is that I can’t hold or touch the products before buying them. So, I love reviews from others who have touched, inspected, and used the item I’m thinking about purchasing. I strive for the same in leaving reviews for others – to leave a review that will help others make an informed decision (never to inflate the product's quality). If you have found this review helpful, I’d love if you’d indicate that below.

Great brace, but consider going up a size if you are on the fence
