The EdLonghi ECO310BK is a wonderful machine. While more expensive than a beginner machine, the added power is greatly appreciated especially for frothing. The Frothing attachments are also designed for easy clean up. It has an extra large water container greatly appreciated by hard core caffeine addicts. Do read the directions so you know which buttons to use when. The machine is durable and well made. I only wish it had an auto shut off as I sometimes forget to turn it off.

Have had the DeLonghi Espresso machine for four and a half years and its going strong producing one to three shots a day. Not the heaviest use, certainly, but perfect for my needs. I clean the machine every six months with a de-calcifier and keep the outside clean of any coffee build up. I also used filtered water which may have an effect on keeping the machine innards functional and clean. UPDATE: 7 + Year’s Still going strong making 1-3 espressos a day. Seven plus years is a long time for medium priced machines and mine has not quit on me. Very impressive. For coffee I've been using LaVazza and Illy beans and have been very pleased with the results. For the grinder I have a DeLonghi DCG-39.

We have enjoyed this coffee maker for over half a year. It does a very good job making nice espresso, cappucino and latte at home. The foam maker is good and goes with full and reduced-fat milk. Of course you need to buy decent coffee to go along. We use the black Lavazza (espresso type coffee) and it is perfect. For better quality cappucino, you can add a little sugar to the milk before frotting. The machine is a bit loud, but that is all right for the price. It does not wake up the kids, but if you really need it to go quiet, you can keep the water container steady with your hands..

I bought this machine based off the majority of the reviews I read, and I have to say I'm not let down. I took the machine out of the box, read the directions for about 5 minutes, ran just hot water through the filter 5 times, then made my espresso and frothed my almond milk (I'm not a dairy guy). Made a delicious and hot latte right off the bat. I also have to mention this is my first espresso machine ever, and I have no experience with making my own espresso drinks. I'm very impressed with this machine and it's COMPLETELY worth it for the value.

I'm not 100% sure how my husband and I lived without this thing. It's everything I've ever wanted. Haha. I love the ability to make plain espresso, specialty drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, etc., and the ability to steam milk to make hot cocoa and more. Definitely a versatile machine and great price for what it does. The more expensive models aren't necessary-- this one works like a charm! Just wish we had bought a utensil to pack down the espresso as it's sort of a pain having to push up on the machine, but it works so c'est la vie!

If you can't or don't want to spend $$$$ on an espresso maker, I recommend this one. It takes a few turns for the coffee holder to loosen, but after that it is easy to use and makes very good espresso drinks. We use it every morning.

Excellent espresso machine and I know what am I talking about. Don't know why would anybody buy these $500+ models. This little thingy does a very good job.

After confronting my $5-$7 a day latte habit, I decided it was time to seek help. This little machine arrived on my doorstep about 2 weeks ago, and I haven't been to the coffee shop since! It's compact with a retro feel and looks great sitting out. It pulls a decent espresso shot (for a novice like myself that has never, ever dabbled in this before) and it keeps getting better the more I experiment and learn. I purchased a cheap grinder and some good beans and I was in business! The steamer/frother exceeded my expectations in every way, and I have no problem getting the extra hot latte that I love! No, I don't have an expensive machine to compare this to. I haven't developed high end barista skills, but I feel like this is the best possible start. It's form meets function at an affordable price. I have no plans to upgrade to a higher end machine, and even if this were to call it quits in 6 months I'd not complain and replace it with the same machine. It's saving me a lot of money and time and has become one of my favorite things!

Very handy, useful and professional. We are use it at work and everybody love it.....excellent.
