I use this mainly to prevent a computer outage during temporary power drops or tripped breakers. It works well for a single computer and can handle another computer as well, but if both are pulling high loads at the same time the alarm starts to sound. This model allows for the alarm to be enabled or disabled by briefly double-pressing the button (2 beeps is off, one beep is one). It also provides a USB hookup and has works under Linux (Debian Stretch, using NUT)

Compact fit and enough power delivery.
My boss bought one of these for work to keep a PC and one monitor powered during power blips. When it came in, I couldn't believe how small it was. I've been looking for a very small UPS to use just for my modem and router as I get a lot of power blips in my house at random time of the day. Everything else is protected but the networking equipment. This means that while my PC or PS4 will not shut off, I still had to wait for my router and modem to both restart and work again. The placement of my modem and router was also the issue. It is in the living room sitting on a decorative half-table. I have also purchased a power strip cover/box that you put your power strip inside so it doesn't look like a jumble mess of cables. This UPS fits in it! Now I am able to keep my devices powered for a bit when there's a power outage. I even had a blip recently and it held through. You just hear the clicking sound of it switching to battery and back to normal. I recommend this if all you need to power is a TV and one device.

Came in handy shortly after it arrived
Days after this arrived, we had an extended power outage due to some strong storms. This product gave me enough time to manually shut down my firewall device safely and quickly finish a VOIP call because my VOIP box was attached to this UPS as well. I had a $250 CyberPower UPS fail within 2 years once before, but I have had better luck with two other UPS units from them. I hope this device lasts a long time, too. I will be back to update when it fails. Two outlets on the "surge protection" side and two on the "surge + battery protection" side accommodate large power adapters, and an additional two on each side fit regular size plugs. At under $45 at the time of purchase, this was a pretty good deal.

Take That Brown Outs!
I work online in an area that has frequent brownouts, which turn off my modem and computer, usually when I haven't saved a project after putting hours of work into it. My wife also works online and has the same problem. Thus the need for battery backup. Today, the power flickered for the first time since I purchased these. There was a click and everything on the surge protector side went dark, but everything on the battery side didn't even blink. Perfect. Hopefully they last longer than other reviews have indicated because I think they'll see some use.

Love-It!!!
Love it! I live in a rural-area, that has occasional power "dinks" of anywhere from a split-second, or a few-minutes, and this thing has saved me so-many headaches, from lost or corrupt-files during a download. Not really big-enough for extended-outage use, but allows me about 3-minutes, to "save & close", which is exactly what I wanted it for! It's done been "tested" at least 4-times since I got it, and it passed with an-A+, as far as I'm concerned!

Keeps me connected
Long power outages (5 to 13 hours) happen where I live as often as twice a month, and since we're in a dead zone for cell coverage we have to use wireless at home, so without power I don't even have a phone connection. This UPS is just right for keeping my cable modem, wired/wireless network and VOIP phone working during a long power outage. It's the kind of thing where there's not a lot to say about it. Either it works when you need it, or not. This works.

7 years later...
I've used this product as a battery backup for my home office for 7 years now and it has not failed me. I'm going to be purchasing a second one for another area of my home as the price is right and CyberPower has been the most reliable brand I've ever had for these types of devices. I like its compact design, clear display and the ability to have it flat or standing. For the money, it's a great choice for a single desk setup. I have a Mac Mini, modem, router, printer, Amazon Echo and assorted lights connected to mine. NOTE: The compact design does mean larger plugs need an extension cord, but those are cheap and work just fine. ------------------

Works Perfectly For My Needs
I have a pair of 27" monitors and my work PC connected to one of these. It's been through a few power outages and did exactly what it should do. It starts beeping rather loudly when the power fails and gives you plenty of time to save your work and go through a normal shutdown. That is what I wanted it for and that is what I use it for. It does EXACTLY what I expected of it so I am giving it five stars. We also have one on our company server. It keeps it running long enough after a power outage to allow me to go the the area where the server is running and safely shut it down. It's a small price to pay for the insurance these things offer against losing your work when the power fails or worse yet a sudden power failure without time to shut it down can be fatal to a computer. It's rare but it can happen.

Lets me continue working right thru power hits.
This was a replacement for a unit which has served well for a few years. It is powerful enough to keep my computer, router, and monitor running through power outages of up to about 30 minutes. The most-important part is just keeping the computer from dying during momentary power hits: everything just keeps going. The batteries eventually die, so replacements are required, but in the meantime, the lightning hits don't cause a reset.

Small, effective and saves me from resetting clocks!
The smallest/cheapest solution I could find to insure that our phones don't get zapped with a power spike at night AND our clock radios and bed warmer clocks don't reset every time there is a power blip. This little guy was nice and compact and easy enough to tuck behind our headboard and seems to be doing the trick well. If you found this review helpful, please click the button below - thank you.
