I had a large pressure cooker and wanted to find something that could do the job but not be so BIG. This little guy is perfect! I can still cook two cups of rice in it, and in less than 15 minutes! It is my favorite new rice cooker. Now I can use my bigger pressure cooker for meats, and use them at the same time to make a full meal in a fraction of the time it would take a rice cooker.

Works perfect. I bought it small size for 2 adults portioned daal (lentils),rajma (beans). My husband doesn't like to eat left overs and I don't like to throw away food. This size is just enough for the both of us for dinner. No leftovers.

like the cooker. does a good job. my old one was time to get rid of. I think If I had to buy again I would go to 3 or 5 l, 2 is a little small. works really well just smaller than I imagined

I haven't used many cookers or do any fancy cooking but this one does exactly as I wanted from it so I'm satisfied. About the product - I got the 5 liter version as I like to cook for multiple meals in one go. The top fits from the outside. Pros - Perfect size for my needs, easier to clean as the lid fits from the outside, I like having the heat insulated handles on two sides for easier handling Cons - None I can think of for stainless steel cooker

Thank you Amazon and I will recommend for those who is looking forward to buy the best quality pressure cooker. The cooker looks exactly as the picture shown. Even in quantity wise, 10 people or just for 2 servings capacity also it holds. To avoid scartches make sure to cook with wooden spoons and mild abbresives.

Very nice item. It’s been 4years and it’s still good

It's compact and light weight. A nice size for two people. It saves time and fuel because it cooks fast. For home use I have a 6 quart stainless steel cooker which I use all the time. I bought this little guy to be a dedicated camp cooker. Before I ever cooked in it, I replaced the plastic handles with two metic threaded bolts (no drilling necessary). I leave them out for stowing and insert them just for cooking. I haven't tried this yet, but I can see where once the lid is locked in place, it would be easy to attach three hooks and some cordage or loop a coat hanger size wire from side to side to the underside of the lid. In this fashion the cooker could be suspended over a camp fire. I made a wood burning stove out of a large coffee can which I cut down to three inches so it would fit inside the cooker. I also stow my bolt handles, pressure cap and some other fire starting, eating and clean up things inside so there is no wasted space or rattling about. I hope someone out there found this helpful...

wonderful.I have cooked a lot in this cooker. It is strong and safe .Cooking is uniform because it is aluminum.I have cooked directly in the cooker without a dish. I just wish a bottom plate with holes was also supplied which will prevent dishes from floating on water.I had an old one which I am now using

Fantastic little pressure cooker for one person.

Pressure cooker became a part of Indian kitchen long ago and ever since I moved to US on a temporary assignment, I was missing this product. I couldn't find many Indian stores sell pressure cookers, that too of Prestige at this cost. Though there are pressure cookers from Hawkins, I felt that the lid arrangements (which involved inserting the circular lid "inside" the base) on those cookers felt more cumbersome. Prestige lids are very easy to use; opening and closing them is as simple as opening/closing a bottle. Nothing less than a high-five for this product.
