Staples staple, but sometimes you get a batch that jam and twist and just make you curse the day you decided to take that upholstery class and start re-doing that family heirloom. . . and oh, that garage sale find. . . and, oh yes, that pile of rubble left in someone's garage. These are good quality and fit my stapler which isn't a Porter Cable.

When you make a mistake and have to remove the staples these remove without breaking into pieces. I will pay the couple of dollars difference and order porter cable again.
