These are the exact Q tips that you see in your vet's office. They are far sturdier than your average q-tip and in my opinion are much safer when cleaning your cat's or dogs ears. Reason being is you can actually feel the grooves that you're cleaning inside the ears because of the hard handle. I highly recommend this product as the cost is very cheap compared to what's out there but you're not paying for the lack of quality of the item. I had it much easier time upon receipt cleaning my animals ears and ended up getting more go out of the ears then utilizing hi and Q tips. I also like them that the cotton seems to be far sturdier wrapped around the q-tip then loose like your normal cute it. Don't let the inexpensive price fool you... You're not paying for a cheap product.

Keep that firearm functional with a good swabbing.

I use these swabs for cleaning firearms. They get into most of the small crevices and clean those hard to get areas on a gun. They are usually cheaper on Amazon than at my local stores so I buy in bulk. I go through a lot of these especially when taking multiple guns to the range. This is an essential that no gun owner/shooter should be without.

Works great

I have been in the firearms industry for almost 25 years. I'm familiar with the Lucas brand in the automotive respect. I purchased this for my M1 Garand, it is far superior the MIL-SPEC grease. The difference in the function of the firearm after application is indeed most noticeable, and smoother. I also applied this to several other non-semi auto firearms and it has improved the mechanical function considerably, the action is very smooth. I will be keep this on my been from now on.

Useful swabs

My oral surgeon used some swabs like this, so when I got home I immediately looked for them. The regular q-tips are fine for some uses, but these are perfect for cleaning nooks and crannies such as the silverware part of the dish draining rack and the little ant moats in my hummingbird feeders. I like the length and rigidity of the handles, and I'm sure I'll find more uses.

Would be nice if they were double-ended, but otherwise I'm very happy with this purchase. These work great for cleaning hard to reach places, where you need just a bit more reach than a regular q-tip. I read some complaints about them breaking... I don't see that as an issue with my batch. The wood is fairly strong (stronger than a match stick). Of course it is just a thin piece of wood, so I would not expect it to take too much stress without breaking. But I can apply plenty of force for cleaning purposes with no worries about breakage.

Gun Cleaning Necessity

I don't know why it took me 40 years of shooting to realize how valuable something like this could be. I've been getting by with a patch wrapped around a toothpick or something to get into small spaces, but these swabs do double duty. I can dip the cotton end in Hoppe's and use it to clean residue out of hard-to-reach places in the action, or I can use the wooden end to gently dislodge carbon and crud when it needs a little persuasion. Buying multiple packs is way better economically. I won't be without these again.

Work great....

Work great for those who like to hit all the tight little places without scratching. Good for applying cleaner, oil and dabs of grease... I tend to clean several guns at the same time so I take a colored marker to the wood to avoid cross dipping ( like dipping copper remover in my oil...) this way I can use the same one to grease all the guns.... Also when your done, clip the tip off and you can use the wooden stick to scrap junky hard to reach spots and not scratch you gun

This is a good product for people that clean their guns and hobbyist!

I use these to clean my pistols and rifles. I like that I can reach into those hard to reach places to swab out gun powder residue. The sticks are stronger than the flexible plastic sticks on the regular Q-tip swabs. I like that they don't bend as easily and they let me scrub out those hard to reach places. If you like to really clean your guns then this is a must have item. Very good for cleaning the bolt assembly and trigger area on my AR15. These shipped from Amazon and I got them in two days. The strength of the stick and the length of the swap is what makes these useful for these specialty tasks. I like the strength of the wooden swab stick and the ability to reach into the nooks and crannies of the items I am trying to clean. There are some tight places I needed to reach and I found that rolling the q-tip end with my fingers helped to let it fit into those tight areas to clean.

Great product

Bought to use with the gun cleaning kit I gifted my husband for Christmas. The sticks are sturdy, and the swabs have a decent amount of cotton on each. I kept the second pack for myself to use during cleaning, which has been a fantastic idea since it's made difficult jobs a lot easier. Product could be used for a wide variety of things, and the price was great. Would recommend this product.
