I replaced the wheels after the first year, but because I Wanted to and was not needed. Not a "medical" use in my case at all. Has been moved around dozens of times every day and at one point had two monitors and a 17 inch gaming laptop at the same time with the speaker systems subwoofer zip tied to the base bar as an all in one mobile gaming center. Now due to the cost of gear loaded on this I was quite careful and have only had a few accidents, and this helped this last as long as it has. Sure im reviewing 3 years too late, but its still working great. So yeah, thats all I got getting a second to sit in a closet finally

I spent days scouring the internet for an adjustable, mobile desk-like surface to use while I'm on my indoor bike trainer. Everything I came across was either too short or would interfere with the tires. This works perfectly. The base is on wheels that can lock into place, the overall height just exceeds the 43" needed to clear my handlebars, and though it did take some time to assemble, it was fairly straightforward. I completed assembly in 30 minutes and didn't require anything other than a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. While it's not heavy duty, it more than accommodates my laptop, a drink, and a small fan. I'm currently writing this Amazon review from my laptop on this desk at my trainer.

This table is perfect for my elderly father-in-law that likes to eat in his recliner! It's exactly what we needed and he can easily raise and lower it himself which he loves. The tabletop size is perfect for a plate, drink, and anything else that goes with a meal with plenty of room left over. The assembly was actually fairly easy except for one little pin that my hubby struggled with. Other than that it was pretty straightforward. We were using a foldable tray table and I was worried our dogs would bump it and knock hot food on him and this table is so sturdy I no longer worry that will happen.

Just had a total hip replacement and wanted a bedside table like they have in hospitals, so I didn't have to cram everything I might need on my night stand. I also wanted the hospital design so I could either roll it right up to me for eating or roll it out of the way easily. This seriously couldn't be any better! Mine is completely sturdy, rolls easily, is large enough for any/all the crap I might want to pile on it, but is compact enough for great maneuverability. Oh, and the price is Perfect!

Very happy with this table! The packaging was very careful, and it was extremely easy to reassemble the product according to the instructions provided. I use the table as a portable desk. I can move it up to my bed, or into the kitchen with a chair, even on the couch if I want to! It adjusts easily to whatever height I need. The table has enough resistance that it doesn't shoot up whenever my knee bumps it, but if I want to lift it then one hand can easily do so. The releasing mechanism to lower the table is easy and smooth, and even when I have my computer and books on top it will lower gently. There are only two things I'll mention that I wasn't completely satisfied with. First off, the non-supported end can bounce quite a bit. It's not the worst, but it does cause enough shaking if I hit the table right, or if my cat jumps onto that particular end. Secondly, it took me a couple of months to figure out that you have to show the wheels some tough love. I was looking for some replacement casters and then I read somewhere that you really have to whack them into the base of the table to get them to stay. Once I read that (after weeks of just precariously balancing them at an angle) it was smooth sailing! I would definitely recommend this to any students (or anyone really) that's in need of a desk, but doesn't want to drop hundreds on a large one or simply doesn't have the space for one. This has definitely been one of my better purchases.

I bought this for my Dad who has been bed ridden for almost a year. He had one of these and a hospital bed supplied by the home health company and paid for by the insurance. Anyone who has ever been to the hospital knows how important this table is for someone in a hospital bed. Two months ago, then insurance said they would not pay for the table and bed anymore. So there was a mad dash to find him a new bed we could afford and the table. I wanted him to have something brand new for a table if we could afford it. My Mom found a used bed and I decided to try this table. It was packaged nice and came on time without any scratches. My nephew and cousin put it together and said that it was a little hard but it does take two people to put it together. I was not there for this, so I can not attest to how hard it was. Once it was together, it worked great. My Dad is still happy with it and we have no complaints about it. I was happy to find an affordable - hospital grade table for him. We highly recommend this table.

Wonderfully priced, functional, sturdy table. I bought this to use for my laptop. I'm disabled, not wheelchair or bed bound, but I do need to keep my feet up because of swelling, so either I'm sitting in my adjustable bed, or most of the time now propped up on the couch. I can't stand the size, the functionality, or the tilt features of your standard laptop carts, oh not to mention the rolling on those are a nightmare. I'm on a fixed income so a decent price was a must. This may be the cheaper version but it doesn't look nor act like it. It rolls on my carpet (which actually seems to have quite a bit of padding underneath) very easily. It has 4 wheels instead of three making it not tip over with a slight movement like other carts. It moves up and down with very little effort at all, so if you are weak and don't have a lot of strength this would be perfect. This one does not tilt, which is what I wanted. Some designs do tilt, so it just depends on what you want. I have enough room for not only my laptop but my mouse (I hate using the touch pad) with a full size mouse pad, drinks (gotta have my morning coffee while I play online bingo). I'm actually going to make it even more functional by adding other compartments to the end of it, that way my remote, phone and other loose objects have a place of their own. This table is my own little world I use it constantly and LOVE it.

I bought this so that I could use my laptop while on my exercise bike. It works PERFECTLY for that! It will also be used if I want to use my laptop, say, while sitting on my bed, as a mini crafting table, a TV tray...SO versatile! My husband assembled it in 10 minutes. He needed a Phillips and a ratchet. Seemed super easy. It's seriously effortless to raise the height, though lowering it takes a little finesse (I have a feeling it's that way on purpose so that the top doesn't accidentally lower itself). There are no pre-made notches or anything, so you can literally adjust it to any desired height up to 45", which is FANTASTIC. I absolutely recommend this!!!

I'm completely satisfied with myself for going ahead with this purchase. The reviews weren't quite up to par with how I usually make my amazon purchase decisions. So, I decided to try this anyway and I'm quite happy with it. Assembly should have taken about 10 minutes. It took 15 because of the last screw.... which was in very tightly and I had to retrieve a specific bit for my screwdriver. The table moves up and down just like the instructions say it will - with a bit of force from on top of the desk or directly underneath it. It's not friction less but I don't see that to be a real issue. I'm not exactly looking at the reviews at the moment but if I recall correctly: 1 - many people said that the instructions were difficult to understand. I disagree. Perhaps I was sent better instructions. It's all on a two sided piece of thick paper, one side of which contains exactly what needs to be done, if in too many words. They could really do with shortening the paragraphs. Basically, they want to make very sure that you know you are dealing with very specific pieces. 2 - a few people said that they removed the wrong screw or some nonsense. I'm not sure how or why they would do that. One sticker, clearly marked, says do not remove. So, don't remove it.

Bought this table because of a somewhat cramped apartment and wanted to be able to work on my laptop without having to sit at the dining room table. This sees use almost every day. It's sturdy enough to use with a laptop without feeling like the entire table is going to collapse or fall over. We use it without the casters as the clearance under the couch is really low but after adding some pads it's been smooth sailing. My only real complaint is the instructions and the fact that it can't go all the way down and that with the slightest effort the table can change height. Other than that I still give this 5 stars!
