I was a little skeptical of buying this from a 3rd party but it registered as promised. Great savings, will definitely look at buying this way in the future.

I've been using Apple products since the late 1970's - and Macintosh since 1985. Since AppleCare first came out, I've always been a fan of the extended warranty program. When you pay for a $1,000 display, you don't want it going belly-up in the second or third year. My advise to anyone buying an Apple product is to always buy AppleCare - and with the Apple Thunderbolt Display, it's no exception.

I was surprised that altho this was noted as "used", it was accepted by Apple with no issue. Very glad I bought it.

I never own an apple iMac computer or an apple iPhone without having Apple Care on the device. Apple phone support is always there and they try to fix the problem - If they can't, they send me to my local Apple Store - Apple have replaced numerous iPhones and iMacs - Great products and great service. Would not be without Apple Care.

and despite what Apple told me, this product I bought here on Amazon was accepted by Apple's AppleCare registration system. BTW, if your Mac is vital to your existence, it is wise also to sign up for ProCare, which is $100/year and is available only at an Apple Retail outlet, apparently. If you bought your Mac and your display together, you don't need this because your display is covered by your Mac's AppleCare agreement.
