An absolutely phenomenal stapler... the one ding I would give it is as other's have mentioned, the staple rail is plastic/nylon and if you're the type to throw your tools around it could break on you. Other than that, I've put over 15,000 staples through this thing without a hiccup. I've jammed it good a few times after hitting metal earthquake straps under the siding - but the jams have been easy to clear thanks to the design of the tool. I've saved over $15K doing my own cedar shake installation on the house - so the ROI is definitely there for even a small project.

Okay, I only fired a few hundred so far. But I am in the process of removing particleboard underlayment using the same Staples, so I figured I'd use the same thing to put down the new OSB. I have a small pancake compressor, but I'm driving B&E 2" Staples at about 60 per minute. I'll update later as I have about 9000 more to fire on this floor.

I always use a drop of pneumatic tool oil in the tube and at the tip of the stapler. So far I have build a large shed and sheathing floors and exterior was done with this stapler. All in all probably around 10K staples. Looks like never used. The only thing, that I have noticed, that I don't really like is how sensitive the trigger is. Sometimes, especially when I am tired, I fire 2 staples in quick succession. So far no malfunctions or jams. Works as intended. Very glad with this Metabo/Hitachi unit!

We have done a lot of fencing over the past 3 decades. Borrowed one of these from a neighbor to build an aviary. It was so easy that after 1 days use, we bought one for ourselves.

This thing is built very well. It has a good solid feel to it and it delivers solid results. I used it for .25" or .315" siding with .565 crown x 1.25" staples it has no problem. But the are those that hit in a hard spot and don't completely go in, but very few. This is a very good staple gun.

Many years ago I bought my Hitachi Roofing nailer and still is the best air gun. Very light weight...very simple to clean. This stapler works awesome just like the other air tools I own ...just under the old Hitachi name is all.

This is the second one I have bought . The first performed so well and was maintenance free for years, and still is in use . This is the best 2" stapler I have ever used .Two drops of oil every morning and these go for years with no down time . I run Two framing crews so we use the heck out of these. I also use their framing nailer, another great nail gun

Best manufacturer of air guns to date. I own others and many are Hitachi. But they take abuse and low maintenance just keep on going. My Hitachi framer has build many buildings and 20 years old. Good guns.

Connect to compressor hold the trigger and bump it....works great for underlayment

This is a reliable air tool that saves so much time.
