Got to use this chair about an hour before winter set in.. Like a ton of bricks. But, it won't be long, and July will be here.. All the snow should be melted by then. I hope. I can't wait to get out under the stars this summer with my binoculars and relax on my Zero Grav chair.. The locking levers work fine. I replaced the pillow with better one and added a section of pipe insulation on the bottom rail for my feet. Very comfy. Edit 9/17/2017 If you don't have a lot of upper body weight (like my wife), to lean back, release the locks and lean back, while lifting your legs. You can also reach down under the plastic arm-rests on both sides, and push yourself backwards using the top of the rear leg. (Where they attach under the plastic arm-rests). It took my wife a while to get down the idea of leaning back hard, while pushing her upper-body backwards with both arms. Warning: When pushing back with both hand, KEEP YOUR THUMBS turned outwards, so they aren't pinched!

Due to a couple back surgeries in less than two months, I have been unable to get too comfortable in my outdoor chairs. After researching different kinds of outdoor zero gravity chairs, I found this particular one. The price was right and reviews were solid so I bought this to enjoy the sun instead of being cooped up all day in the house. The chair was packaged very well and did not need any kind of adjustments out of the box. This has been very kind to my back. So much so, that I am able to sit back, enjoy a few beers, and get some fresh air without being in too much pain. I suggest, especially if you have difficulty sitting and/or back problems, that you pick up this chair. Buy the $7 attachment for your beverage and phone holder; it comes in handy. One potential drawback for taller people, is that your feet will hang off. At 6'0", 205 lbs., this happens to me but doesn't bother my level of comfort. Highly recommended.

So comfortable!! I loved these chairs! The quality was great, the color was just like it was shown, and most of all, they were so comfortable! I never knew what a zero gravity chair was. I logged onto Amazon just looking for some deck furniture and saw a bunch of zero gravity chairs. These had great reviews so I tried them out and they were perfect! Well, they would have been perfect if I had bothered to measure the space I had on my deck first… My deck is very small, and the chairs wouldn’t fit so I had to return them. I tried several different avenues to try to get them to work because they were so great but ended up having to return them for size only. I would definitely recommend these!

Few things about these chairs: - They are very comfy - The recline to almost a horizontal position (feet don't go above body though) - They have locks under the arm rests (you'll need to use depending on your weight to keep the chairs from slowly sliding back to sitting position) - The pillow is comfy - No assembly needed - They fold up quick and small (easy to throw in a small car or pile up on patio) They are not the super comfy expensive ones however they are great come pretty close. If you are looking for something to relax in on the patio and don't expect them to last several years get them! I've had them on my patio through a few storms now and they've held up without one problem. They arrived quickly and all I had to do was pull them out of the box. They are worth it. I got the tan and have been happy with the color. Even after being in direct sunlight it hasn't faded and its been two months.

I just got this less than a week ago so I can't speak on durability and will update if and when something goes wrong. With that said, this chair is a treasure. To start off, I'm not much for sitting. You'll find me standing at my work desk, moving around doing something, or lying down at night in bed. Sitting has never been comfortable or something I enjoy doing. With this chair, I can sit outside on my deck and watch the birds for up to two hours at a time. I think it's the most I've sat since school. In fairness though it's not really sitting, it's lounging, and it's amazing. The chair size seems perfectly made for me at 5'4 and 140 lbs, but who knows, it might be perfect for a lot of different sizes. When I received mine, I took it out of the box and it was in perfect condition. I think if you receive yours and it's in anything less than perfect condition, it would be worth sending it back to get another. This is because I've seen pictures of people with bent frames, and I can only assume that there had to be some kind of defect in the product that might have been missed. I don't plan on leaving this out in the rain and snow. It's so easily foldable and can be stored in a small space so I will take it in or put it under cover in more extreme weather. I think with good care and proper use this chair will last for at least a few summers. It's not my primary patio furniture because of the appearance, but it's my favorite piece even if it's not as pretty. I can move it all around from the side yard, to the back, to the deck, to the front porch depending on where the sun is or isn't. I couldn't be more pleased with a chair.

We have been using our chairs regularly for about a month now. We are in love! It's a great way to spend some time outside and be comfy at the same time! My boyfriend also likes to set his up in front of the TV for longer gaming sessions. The chairs lay all the way back with ease, or if you prefer a setting part of the way back they can lock in at any preferred angle. The headrest can be moved up or down very easily for height adjustment, or removed completely if you prefer. We did take the liberty of using a pool noodle to wrap around the foot rest, bc the bar can get uncomfortable on your feet after a while. They come assembled and fold up super easy for quick storage which is great bc we are lazy like most people. We also have a pretty small outside space, which isn't covered, so they would get rained on if left out. So far there is no deterioration or fraying or anything like that at all. Overall definitely more than worth the money!

I've wanted one of these chairs forever. I've never really splurged on patio furniture mostly because I have 6 boys and they tend to be really hard on everything not made of wood and steel. It just doesn't last. But I realized that while I have this great outdoor patio, I don't get to use it to relax on because I only have 2 plastic chairs and a picnic table. So I decided to go ahead and get one of these and I"m so glad I did. Now I can relax outside with a book...and my kids love it so much that I'll probably get a few more so we can hang out together. So far no one has tried to dismantle it to build a fort, toy weapon or other "useful" creation. Hooray for me!

Very impressed with this ZG chair. I've owned a different brand (that cost 2.5 times more than this one) for over a year. Gotta say that this chair compares favorably. Textilene fabric is very resistant to the sun and will last many years even when left outside (based on some lawn chairs that I own); however, I would not leave this Caravan chair exposed to wetness as it probably will rust. I'm 6 ft 1 in, 170 lb and the chair is perfectly sized for me. The bottom bar contacts my leg in the area of the Achilles tendon. I may put some foam cushioning over this bar later, though I doubt it is necessary. I did not find it necessary to lock the chair in place, since it is perfectly balanced when reclined. I checked out the locks and they did maintain the position, even when I leaned forward, so it should hold in normal circumstances. The chair seems sturdily made and should last many years. I intend to use this chair indoors to help me get some rest when my GERD (acid reflux) acts up. The chair looks just fine with my Danish Modern furniture and folds compactly should I want to move it out of the way. Probably, it will remain in place most of the time.

I use this for a funny thing. I live in an open home, where only bathrooms have closed doors. I also have 7 cats. So when I started needing to do my own Hypnosis having a cat jump on my lap didn't exactly help (ha). So I got this to put it in my upstairs bathroom so that I can go through Hypnosis there. It not only is easy to use but is very comfortable!

OMG this thing is great!!!!! I have continuous ankle and knee dull aches. When I used this chair this w/e for first time, I leaned back and it immediately took the pressure of my ankle and knee by supporting my body with the weight distribution balanced around my butt. Furthermore, I believe it was very therapeutic for my ankle and knees because they were positioned slightly higher them my heart. this allowed any swelling to drain away for these areas. Long story short both ankles and knees felt a lot better after resting on this chair. My only issue is the other posts about the frame failing which I will repost if this happens. Hope it does not!!
