Easy and Functional Bibs!
Up till now we were just using cloth napkins or thin, PUL coated bibs for our toddler. When the napkins were constantly crusty and adding to our laundry and the PUL on the thin bibs was torn and not waterproof anymore I knew it was time to order these serious, sturdy, waterproof, quick-drying bibs complete with large pockets to catch all the drips of creamy wheat cereal, oatmeal, and chunks of scrambled eggs. I ordered blue and orange because we have a girl now but are expecting another baby and will not know the gender until we see him/her in just 6 weeks! I like the vibrant gender-neutral colors. I don't love the fact that the brand name is posted on the front and center but the bear is really cute and our daughter loves to look at it and talk about it. I like the easy and adjustable strap that goes around the neck but be careful not to crimp Baby's hair in the contraption when you put it on!

Buy these bibs!!!
I have bought three different sets of bibs for my baby, and this one is absolutely the best! First, I bought these terry cloth bibs. http://www.amazon.com/Luvable-Friends-Mommy-Daddy-3-Count/dp/B00BNT0VI8/ref=sr_1_30?ie=UTF8&qid=1443655645&sr=8-30&keywords=amazon+terry+cloth+bibs . They are great for teething and early purees, etc. They are soft, the velcro is not the old fashioned velcro that is raised and kind of hurts when you press your fingers into them, but rather a new kind of velcro that doesn't hurt - important because my baby would find ways to press the velcro against her skin and the old fashioned kinds left scratches! Not okay! These are okay, like I said, for teething and purees - it will soak through because there is no waterproof backing, but it'll do nicely for a few early months. Then, I bought these bibs. http://www.amazon.com/Tommee-Tippee-Explora-Purple-Count/dp/B007C7WI7M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1443655594&sr=8-2&keywords=tommee+tippee+bib . I thought that it would do well for starting finger foods and the pocket would eliminate some mess. I was wrong! Instead, the flat back of the bib doesn't sit well on my baby and food escapes on both sides, to the left and to the right. Also the high chair tray presses against pocket, closing it, making it useless! The only good things are that the button like closure in the back is impossible for my baby to undo, so yay, and sometimes she holds the pocket with one hand and fishes food out of the pocket with the other hand, hehe. Either way, it's not ideal. Finally, I bought these, because I was frustrated with the amount of food that escaped both bibs. I was happy to find the ergonomic design wasn't just a gimmick! It really does help keep the bib close to the my baby's body. The pocket doesn't hit the high chair tray and it stays open and I watched tons of food drop straight into the pocket. I can even scoop some food back onto the tray for her and sometimes back into her mouth. I'm a very happy mommy with these bibs! Hopefully the comparison helps some mommies out there!

Easy cleanup
My sister highly recommended these bibs, so when it came time to start feeding my little guy solids I went and ordered these. Very satisfied with the product. Love how I can easily wash it and have it ready for his next feeding. Other reviewers mentioned how the buttom pocket part made it "look" uncomfortable when in a highchair and I can see how it could be for some but my son doesn't mind and his highchair reclines so for right now it doesn't effect him. He sees the bib and starts smiling knowing he's about to get something yummy and I'm happy I won't have to change his clothes afterwards!

Best (and longest lasting) bibs ever!
We bought these bibs ten years ago, when our first child was born. TEN years. A red one and a blue one. Since then, they've been used by our next five children for 1-3 years apiece. Today, we still own the same two bibs, which are still sturdy, still holding their shape, and still easy to clean (although the little white logo has mostly worn off). I can't imagine a better investment. I hate doing unnecessary laundry, so the ability to just rinse these off under the faucet and have them ready for the next meal was key. Also, the pocket part of the bib is flexible, but rigid enough that it doesn't collapse on itself - some other floppier bibs tend to just let the pocket flop closed, which basically makes it useless for catching food - this one can hold several ounces of oatmeal, yogurt, applesauce, or milk without spilling, until you take it off and dump into the sink. Can your kid remove the bib? Sure, if he yanks hard enough - probably not a 5 month old, but a one year old, yes. Of course, a clever toddler will be able to remove almost any bib, just like he can remove his shoes and socks at the drop of a hat. None of my kids had too much trouble learning to leave the bib alone after a few days, and I really like how adjustable the neck closure is - none of this nonsense with snaps that are either tight enough to be uncomfortable on a chubby kid's neck, or loose enough that half of the oatmeal ends up down the neck of your skinny kid. Is it life changing? Well, it's a bib. So no. But if you only want to buy one or two bibs, and you want it to fit various sizes and ages of child comfortably, protect their clothes adequately, and not waste any of your precious parenting time washing, drying, and folding a BIB...buy this one.

BEST. BIBS. EVER!!!
Seriously, my toddler HATES bibs these days, but he actually thinks these ones are fun! They're super firm and cover him and his clothes completely, but the material is so soft and comfortable, and the piece that secures them around your child is beaded like a soft little necklace. We've had many other bibs that have the "catch-all" at the bottom but this is the only one that works perfectly, always! My son's favorite food is yogurt but he's not that great with his spoon, and it gets MESSY... but now, he doesn't! :) The bottom part is so sturdy it's like a little bowl of it's own, and my son's taken to scooping the yogurt that falls into it out with his spoon... not the best table manners but a testament to how strong these bibs are. I can't emphasize this enough, these things are super strong but super comfy... my kiddo actually has some sensory issues so bibs really were a BIG issue for us for a long time. So for ANYONE looking for a better bib for their kiddos, regardless of reason, I can guarantee you these are the bibs you're looking for. You won't be disappointed!!!

They catch everything, but I wish they were a little more comfortable
My 11 month old son is one messy eater. We started with regular cloth bibs. While that did an OK just of protecting a tiny patch on the front of his shirt, it didn't prevent food from falling and getting smashed under him. I purchased the OXO fabric and silicone bib OXO Tot Roll Up Bib, Orange and then a couple weeks later these Baby Bjorn bibs. Here's what I like and don't like about the Baby Bjorn compared to the OXO. The good: -Durability: The BB (Baby Bjorn) is far superior. The OXO is a great design of a fabric upper part that lays flat on the chest and a flexible silicon pocket. It has a Velcro closure in back, but unfortunately after almost 2 months of use I can see the Velcro losing its hold. The BB doesn't have any parts that will wear out. -Cleaning: This is all plastic and is super easy to clean. I can throw it in the dishwasher or just scrub it with my brush after meals. The other small issue with the OXO is it's not drying as fast. I think it's my fault, I use brushes in my kitchen more than rags or sponges, I think using a brush on the fabric made it rough up the fabric, allowing more water to get in. It used to dry completely between meals, now if I wash it after breakfast it's still slightly damp at dinner time. -Closure: When looking at various bibs (I spent a long time weighing the positives and negatives of a bunch) I really wanted bibs that had side closures. I hate trying to tilt his head forward to do a difficult closure (the Tommee Tippee is the worst for this). The BB is a side closure and it's not something that will ever wear out. The little bead and snap closure is easy to use and fully adjustable. -Pocket: The pocket catches 95% of everything that doesn't go in my sons mouth. He's getting a little creative and often drops food over the side of the high chair. Obviously, there's no way to catch that. The other day he decided he didn't like scrambled eggs and picked the pieces up one by one and dropped them down the front. I was so incredibly glad I had a pocket bib that caught them all! That could've been a gross, squishy mess if I didn't and they got under him. The pockets on the BB and OXO are almost exactly the same size. The bad: -Comfort: The OXO is far more comfortable. My son never minded when I put the OXO on him. With the BB he fusses and tries to push it away. It is too rigid. The product description says "soft and comfortable", but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I wish it had a more silicone flexibility to it. The OXO lower portion that is silicone is still firm enough that it stays open and does its job, but flexible enough to move with him and not be uncomfortable. The BB is so rigid that when I'm putting it on or taking it off sometimes it gets in his face and really makes him mad. -Price: Buying a good bib isn't cheap, but if you start off with just a couple cloth bibs for infants and then buy these, you'll be set until your kid no longer needs bibs. It's for sure worth spending a little more money on. Overall, the comfort is the only downfall I've seen. I think it could easily be fixed by making them a little more rubbery. It has to be a healthy medium that makes them flexible enough to be comfortable, but rigid enough to stay open. The OXO has the added bonus of being able to be rolled up and put in the diaper bag. It has a nifty little button that keeps it closed. That's actually the sole use of my OXO now. I keep it in there just for going to restaurants and people's houses. If I could go back a few months and do it all over again I think I'd just buy 3 OXO bibs, not wash them with a brush and be happy with them. Now that I have the BB ones I'm enjoying the durability and ease of cleaning them. I like them enough that I will definitely keep using them. For sure, I will NEVER ever buy a cloth bib again! I plan to buy all my friends either the BB or OXO for baby showers. Update: I've been using these for about 6 months now and LOVE them. I am bumping them up to 5 stars. My son got used to the rigid design and it doesn't bother him. They are so easy to clean. I have put them in the dishwasher multiple times when I'm lazy and there's extra room. They still look brand new. If I forget to put it on him I find a huge mess everywhere. I stopped using the OXO one because it was harder to clean, the Velcro wore down a little and it takes awhile to dry.

I love these bibs
I love these bibs. This is my second order of them because we misplaced one of the other ones. They clean easily with a sponge in the sink, but are also dishwasher safe. I like the closure on them, I dislike velcro bibs, babies can pull them off so easily and when washing they always catch on my towels. I also like that since these are rigid plastic the pocket stays open. It catches all that is dropped and after showing the baby a few times where to find the food she learned to reach down and get it out herself. Win! I used these for over a year with my older child, which I still have one of those bibs going strong, like I said the other one got lost somewhere so I needed replacements. I'm sure these will last for years to come as well. Love these and recommend to others all the time!

I absolutely love these bibs!!
I went through several opinions about these before I posted this review. At first, I liked the concept but didn't know why the babybjorn would be any different from any other silicone bib. When they arrived, I instantly hated them! They were soft like the other bibs and the beaded neckline seemed too hard for a baby's skin! I didn't even want to try them with my 1 year old. But, I ran out of clean bins and used one out of necessity and that's when it all made sense! The stiffness of the bib is great! It truly catches all the food my messy little one drops! It's also short enough so she can grab any dropped snacks out of it to try again. The beaded neckline ended up being perfect because my wild 1 year old likes to yank bibs off, but she can't with the one! It doesn't spin or twist, but stays nicely in place! We have a much cleaner mealtime with my kiddo with these bibs. I'm definitely a fan of these! They also stand up nicely in the dishwasher instead of being so floppy I have to hand wash them all the time. Hand washing these is easy though, so that makes things nicer too. Overall, I'm thrilled with these bibs!

Love these!
I love these bibs! I bought my first set a few years ago for my first daughter and really liked them. She now has a little sister (7mo old) that needs to use a bib so, I bought a second set. They fit both my girls perfectly. It is hard plastic (but, comfortable for baby) that doesn't stain. The pocket is fantastic at catching all the dropped food and saves some much from being wasted to the dogs. I'm glad I tried these because if I was going to spend some good $$ on bibs I didn't want them to look gross after eating spaghetti. I've never had issues with staining on any of the color bibs I have. My oldest went through a phase of taking the bib off herself which is pretty easy for a baby to do but, she eventually stopped that. My 7 mo old can also take the bib off herself but, doesn't intentionally do it. The "necklace" type lock is easy to undo but, doesn't come undone on its own. It has to be pulled apart. I always recommend these to all my friends with kids!
