Overall, a great product for the price

The file was well packed. Overall, the product quality is commensurate with the price. There are better flat files on the market, but not at this price. I'm very pleased with the four Safco flat files that I've purchased. However, I also agree with another reviewer that the base came poorly packed and consequently arrived damaged. I managed to correct the damage with a pair of pliers, some spray paint, and some effort. But this is clearly not optimal, to say the least.
