lifesaver for hungry baby at 2am
I heard/read bad experiences about newborns crying at night for milk. I plan to BF but you never know if there will be complications during the first week. We first tried a different brand (the first year). It was a horrible product! After a long research, I finally decided to give this product a try. When it arrived, we immediately tested it (even though baby is not here yet, I highly recommend testing products or else you end up with a problem w/no returns). It comes with simple instructions. It's easy to use. We used cold water from the fridge to test it. It only took one tried to please us. It heat up the cold water within minutes. I'm very happy with this product because it did what it's suppose to do (unlike the other product). The money is well worth it.

This is probably one of the best purchases I have made this year on Amazon
This is probably one of the best purchases I have made this year on Amazon. This bottle warmer is great for warming cold bottles of formula/breast milk or frozen bags of breast milk. There is a chart on the back that gives suggested times for warming bottles of various sizes and temperatures. It works wonderfully. It is very affordable for a high quality bottle warmer.

Fast, efficient, and easy
This bottle warmer has been the best buy we've made so far for our baby's needs just due to quality of life change. Before we got this warmer we would put her bottles into warm water. Either we'd have to put water in a kettle and put it on the stove to heat it up or wait forever for the water to heat up from the kitchen sink which would just waste a ton of water. So this has worked wonders for us. I saw other reviews saying it leaked, but we haven't seen any leakage at all. We put a 3 oz. bottle in for 3:45 and boom - it's perfect temperature for baby to eat.

Perfect warmer! We bought this 9 months ago and ...
Perfect warmer! We bought this 9 months ago and we use it 6-7xs a day and it's still going strong! Only maintenance we've had to do is soaking the reservoir to make sure there isn't a mold build up. I like that it stays on the previous time used so when I used it again I only had to pop the bottle in and hit the play button! The quicker the better with a hungry baby! We use 9 ounce Playtex ventaire bottles and it only takes 5 min 20seconds to heat up perfectly! It beeps 3xs when it's done heating and lights up the entire time it's counting down . I highly recommend this!

So great we bought 3 more
We loved this so much we bought 3 more for our parents and recommended it to my BIL. There is now one everywhere we spend a decent amount of time. After about a month of listening to her cry while we heated up the water, set the bottle in it, and continually tested it until it was the right temp we bought the warmer. Now we know exactly how long it will take. We stick the bottle in and in 3 minutes we have a bottle perfectly ready to go. We used to bounce her and countdown to calm her down with the timer while we waited for the bottle. Now that she's a bit older 9 times out of 10 she calms down the minute she sees us put the bottle in the warmer knowing it's coming. It does get grimy but at my house and my Moms we use distillers water and it goes much longer without getting grimy. The only time I ever had milk back flow into the machine was when I put it in with the bottle stopper on the bottle or the lid on. You can tell because the water container gets cloudy. If you clean the machine right away it's fine. You do need to de-scale it. I do it once a month for the ones we use regular water in and once every two months with the distiller water. As long as I do that the machine stays clean and works great.

Love it
Great bottle warmer. I love that they designed it for one handed use because I'm typically transporting my minion in my other arm. Pros: 1. Remembers the last time used and defaults to it when you turn it on. 2. Heats up bottles quickly Cons: 1. Small water tank on side. I typically have to fill it every day. 2. Slightly taller than I'd like but still fits under the cabinets. So not a real con.

Simple is better
We originally bought a bottle warmer for my grandson with all the bells and whistles. When we tried to use It, we found it was too complicated. All we wanted was a simple start - warm and beep when done. We immediately returned it and ordered this one. Simple is best - especially when you have limited hands or brain cells from sleep deprivation. It works off of steam, so you only have refill the reservoir occasionally, and it remembers the last setting as far as time. Time is based on amount to warm and whether or not the formula is from the fridge or room temperature. That's all we needed. We like this one so much, I have ordered another one for my house.

The only bottle warmer worth having
I didn't realize until I tried a half dozen different bottle warmers (and then returned them), but Dr. Brown's is one of the very few that warms using steam rather than submerging the bottle in water. There are three benefits to this that turned out to be important to me: 1. You don't need to fill the warmer before every use and dump it after. You just fill the reservoir on the side and it's good for about 10 bottles. Kind of like a Nespresso Machine. The early months of baby care are filled with monotonous, banal tasks. This is one more that I did not need. 2. You never have to gauge how much water you need based on how much milk you have. I.e. if it's just a 2-3 oz snack for your little one, with a "submersion" warmer like Tommee Tippee you need to make sure you don't have too much fill water or the bottle will float and tip over. Too little and it will evaporate before the bottle is warm. With Dr. Browns, as long as there's water in the reservoir, you're good. The bottle sits on a mesh plastic platform and the steam envelops it, regardless of how much milk is inside. 3. It heats the bottle much faster. About 3.5 - 4 minutes for a 5 oz bottle from the refrigerator. About 6 minutes from frozen. The warmers that require submerging take longer as they need to first heat the cool tap water to near boiling before it can really begin warming the milk. The Tommee Tippee warmer, for instance, took about 7-8 minutes to heat a 5 oz bottle out of the fridge. 10-15 for a frozen bottle. It doesn't seem like a big difference, but when your baby is already screaming, it is. And RE: points 1 and 2, it's even worse if you first need to fill the warmer with the perfect amount of water first. Now the one major CON - This is a narrow bottle warmer designed for the narrow Dr. Brown's bottles. So if you like the wider "more like mom" bottles that are increasingly popular, many of them will not fit. However, we recently settled on the NUK Simply Natural bottles, which mimic the breast in shape but are still narrower than Tommee Tippee or ComoTomo - narrow enough to work with this bottle warmer. I highly recommend both! Here's my review of the NUK bottle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/review/R32HFY60LYLAEF?ref_=glimp_1rv_cl

Leaks
Was so disappointed when my daughter-in-law called me and told me it was leaking. I googled the bottle warmer and turns out other people were having the same problem. It is leaking by the reservoir, towards the bottom of it. It starts out fine, but after awhile it starts sending out a small stream down the side of the bottle warmer. I made sure she was following directions and she was. Very disappointed because they needed it right away. Update: After googling the problem I was able to find a solution that fixed the problem; if you empty the reservoir and unplug it, open top and empty it, let it sit awhile then fill reservoir and try it again it works, no leaks. I found that this worked for some, but not all people that tried it, maybe they didn't let it sit awhile, she had it sitting over night and all day before I got there and tried the fix. She now loves it.

Easy, quick, fits MINBIE bottles.
We purchased this warmer after researching all the others out there. The bottles we use (Minbie) are a little wider then most wide necks but they seem to fit fine and we had no issues with heating. The basket that fits into the warmer is convenient - you can modify it to 3 different heights for the depth of your bottle. Not having to refill the warmer every use is fantastic, especially if you have hard water and are using bottled water like we do to preserve the life of the warmer. After testing the warming we settled on about 3 1/2 min for 4 oz. (Our son does like his milk on the warmer side.) I can't speak to longevity as we purchased this for when I travel so it doesn't get used often. However we found this was much more convenient then boiling water and warming bottles. We have a induction stove-top, water boils very fast, but this warmer is a much better process!
