This locking kit does what it is supposed to do, which is to make it a bit more difficult for a thief to take your desktop. The materials are cleverly made and very resistant. The one thing I would have no use for is the plastic piece: it is meant to secure your printer, but printers are made of plastic, too, so either the plastic piece or the printer would break if someone attempted to take them. That said, this is a good investment. I'm completely satisfied with it.

I bought this for my Son to use at college to secure his desktop to keep it from being stolen. It attached easily, and it has been working well. We purchased a property insurance for his personal items at college and one of the things listed in the policy said that items had to have evidence that they were stolen. This product would have to be broken off of the back of his desktop and if that was done there would be obvious sign of theft and evidence of tampering. This product has kept his computer safe so far.

Exceptional quality. The plastic sheathing makes it easy to go through the eyelets on each device! Recommended for your (supported) electronics devices that you want to stay with you despite the attempts of others. The cable isn't as flexible as you would want so please make generous allowances when you are measuring how much you need.

I work in an open office that a lot of people move through daily. Like many similar places, I suspect a theft would most likely be a crime of opportunity rather than a serious burglary. As such, this lock does a great job of discouraging the casual thief. It's simply a lot easier to steal from the desk next to me where nothing is locked down than from my desk. To this end, the Kensington lock does a great job - five stars. It won't stop the serious burglar who brings a bolt cutter, but if he or she is that invested, they can have my monitor and mouse.

My choice for the best way to secure a computer from casual theft/mischief. I really wish it came with a barrel case screw and a few keyed case scres but I bought those separately and it makes for a great way to secure your computer at gaming conventions. The adhesive mount can probably fit that need, but I dont like to add such a thing to my case. The mouse/keyboard cables a captured as well making for a full solution.

I actually forgot to clean the back of the item I applied the stick-on plate to, but it is holding fast and strong. Not only are we using it to secure a tablet against theft, but we're actually using it to hang the tablet in my wife's booth for a craft fair, running a slideshow at eye level to catch the eyes of passersby and the adhesive has held tight. And if I ever need to secure my laptop at a conference... voila, I can use the clips to plug into the security port.

I got this set couple of months ago and I used it this morning. Easy to setup. It has only one adhesive anchor. I used mine for the desktop computer. In the images it shows one metal piece that is used for the monitor. I couldn't find anywhere to use it on my Samsung screen. Not sure which brands or models can have this piece attached to it. I wish if there were at least two adhesive anchors included with the set because not every device can have the places for attaching the other types of anchors.

This is exactly what I was looking for and it is 8 feet long compared to most at 6 feet, so you can lock more 50 cal cans up at once. This cable fits nicely in the "Case Club Locking Hardware for Steel Ammo Can" sold here.

Put my electronics on lockdown in case anyone got past my security cameras, dogs, alarms, etc.

I purchased this for a grand daughter living in a Dorm at a college. The cable is very strong and well made. She had no trouble locking her computer Tower to the desk.
