Best razor blade I have ever used

These blades are the best I have ever used! I have been using them for several months and have yet to cut or nick my face with them. In addition, the blades have lasted three weeks before needing to be replaced. I know shaving is a very individual thing, so these comments will not apply to everyone. I have a fairly tough beard that can need shaving twice a day if I need to look presentable in the evening. I also have enough wrinkles that it can be difficult to shave all the contours around my face. And I take a blood thinner, so any nicks become annoying bleeders. I used to use Gillette Mach 3 blades which lasted only four to seven days and generated numerous nicks. Septic pencils were a regular use item after shaving. The Fusion Proglide cartridge starts with great shaves and gradually tapers off to ok shaves by the end of the third week. At three weeks, they give the equivalent of a Mach 3 shave after three days of use, at least on my face. The only down side to the cartridges is the "precision trimmer", which is awkward to use and is fairly easy to cut yourself with. I just don't use that attachment and do any trimming with the regular blades. Pricey cartridges, but they give great shaves with no bloodshed.

Very smooth, no cuts or nicks ever.

I have used Gillette razors since I began shaving (back then it was the Sensor Excel I think). I have always felt they give a great shave, and these blades are not an exception. They are extremely smooth shaving and give a close shave without nicks or cuts. Recently, I tried the Dorco blades attempting to save money. They did not do the job at all. It is worth spending a little more to get a much better product. I usually get 10 or so shaves from each blade, which lasts me just about a month. So saving a dollar a month isn't worth cuts and nicks on my face. Save your skin and get the Gillete blades. Save some money and check around on Amazon for different listings...some times they have two of the same quantity but with different prices.

Good item and came in perfect condition. Good price for item.. Fast shipping.. As always with amazon prime!! My husband and father in law loves these blades. One head last for a long long time. Nice smooth shave.. they hardly ever get razor burn.. and my husband doesn’t use shaving cream.. only water and a razor. Still don’t understand how his face isn’t tore up.. he just tells me... with good sharp blades, you don’t need shaving cream. We just agree to disagree lol Love how amazon has everything you could possibly need and deliver so fast! Can’t help myself.. I have to let a little rant out.. **NOT RANTING ABOUT THE PRODUCT! PRODUCT WAS PERFECT!! Very happy with my purchase!! ** I hate going to my local retail store to buy razors.. All the razors are locked up and it’s a pain in the butt to find a worker to open the case. Usually I have to go to a different department and find someone.. Only for them to page someone to the razors.. Then I walk all the way back to the razors and have to wait 10 - 15 minuets for someone to show up.. I always love it.. When I stand there and wait and no one ever shows up.. It’s always a blast trying to contain my two toddlers in one buggy for over 20 minuets just for no one to ever shows up.. Got to love big retail stores.. NOT! THANK YOU AMAZON FOR MAKING SHOPPING SO MUCH EASIER! I can stay in the comfort of my home where my kids are playing and happy.. I don’t have to look like a mad woman trying to keep up with them and worrying about other people judging me when one of them decides to have a total melt down for no reason at all! I can get all the same items while sitting on my couch comfortable with my messy bun and pjs watching my perfect little angels play! It’s amazing! Oh and also saving on gas money and taking out the whole process of getting ready and loading all of us up in the car just to forget something and have to back to the house. I use to be wore out before we ever left the house.. now I can shop stress free.. Also saves me money cause I always buy junk at the retail store that I don’t need and will never use! Confessions of a Serial Upgrader:

I've been upgrading to Gillette's newest model for decades and they have consistently been better than the previous generation and the competition. When the Fusion reached $4/razor (and that I need a new razor every week) I was determined to find an alternative. I went back to double edged razors, I tried Schick, and online I tried Harry's and Dollar Shave Club (the best online product I found), and several others as well as even trying a Trac II and Mach 3 again. I tried many different pre-treatments and even a Braun electric. After a year I gave up. The Fusion is still head and shoulders better than the rest. So, reluctantly, I am biting the bullet and shelling out the extra cash. But I am sincerely glad that others have found alternatives because that gives me a small satisfaction that Gillette is getting hit where it matters....just not by me.

HELP YOUR RAZOR LAST TWICE AS LOING FOR FREE ! ! !

I'm use these all the time hands down the best shave ever but here's a trick the balde companies don't want you to know and I swear it works !!! Every time you shave use the hair dryer and wash and dry your razor it only takes a few seconds but it works !! The ONLY reason blades get dull so fast is the water left on the edge of the razor causes The blade to corrode making it go dull long before it would normally!!! Just try it for the life of one blade and you'll see for your self hope you like this little trick for saving you money have a GREAT SHAVE!!

Close, comfortable shave, but don't last very long

These give a very close shave with no pulling and little irritation, but don't last nearly as long as the month claimed on the box. I treat myself to a new one every week. Pay attention to the prices on these. The 12 pack may be the same price or cheaper than the 8 pack.

I have found none better. One blade will last through many shaves, but pre shaving preparation is very important to ensure long blade life. I always lather first and let it soak as I turn on hot water in the sink. When it's hot, I get the razor warm with the hot water, and when rinsing the blade during the shave, it is clean and warm again.

Great value deal

Only went for the 8 blade refill because it was the best value per blade and first thing I thought was "This is going to take forever to use..." That's a GOOD thing because these blades last super long (as long as you dry them after every use, my longest blade was 4 months) and are very high quality. Even when other blades get dull, this blade will still cut after heavy abuse. You don't have to worry about nicks or inconsistent shaves. Blades never pop off neither. Great product overall. Can't think of a single con.

My favorite blade for my Gillette

My favorite blade for my Gillette.... Love this product and this is the original NO IMITATION, the quality is great and the price is slightly lower than the ones at the store/pharmacy.. It is still a pricey product regardless but it is totally worth the money. Nothing better to shave with than these. Note this has the 4 blades on one side and the SINGLE blade for the edges/shape-ups on the other side... Very convenient and lasts a long time/multiple shaves.. I use about two of them per month.

Switch to Fusion ProGlide Power from Mach 3

I recently received a free Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor through a program run by Gillette. I received the box in the mail and liked the packaging of the razor, esp how easy it was to open and remove the razor itself. I didn't need to get a scissor or a blade to remove it. The packaging was also very colorful and inviting. I switched from the Mach 3 razor to the Fusion ProGlide Power razor... I was very pleased with the results after my recent shaves. I found that using this razor, with the power feature, has caused me less pain when shaving, esp when I have several days growth to shave. After shaving, I feel I've received a closer, smoother shave than before, and fewer nicks/cuts. I highly recommend the Fusion ProGlide Power razor to all men! Next to a professional straight razor shave, this is the next best thing!
