My son (4 yrs old) and his cousins (7 yr old twin girls) absolutely love to play with this at the beach. They make all kinds of crazy concoctions- gathering ingredients from the beach (salt - pebbles, oil/milk - water, flour - sand). It's been fun to watch their creativity! Very pleased with set.

My daughter was a hit at our last camping trip. All the cousins wanted to play with these. Ages 3-15. They all loved it. They had fun with the sifter top, all the measuring cups, and the huge container. Definitely worth the money.

This is so much cuter in person. My son likes to use baking scoops in the sand so I ordered this set, but we ended up using it in the kitchen instead. He loves to help me bake, and has really enjoyed having his own mixing bowl, spoons, etc. The plastic is high quality, and the colours are vibrant. As always, Melissa and Doug deliver.

Awesome, as ALWAYS!!

We have been buying M&D toys for years. We are never disappointed. Whenever we have had trouble with anything they replace it or give us back our money. We have even had the company call us minutes after we have left a review or comment. They take their products seriously & we LOVE them for that commitment! The lid on this set does snap on but as soon as it's picked up to be carried the lid pops off. It's fine but that does bother our kiddo just a little bit. She has spent hours playing in her sandbox & at the beach with this set. She has a 10 year old cousin who also loves playing with this set along with her. Great job, again, M&D!!!

Worth the money

The Sand Box has become a new Gastropub. Every Mellissa & Doug toy I've purchased, or had handed down, has been of Very High Quality. Glad to know that we will get many years of use of them. Lots of fun for kids and adults too.

I was Looking for pool toys for my 2year old son When i found this. He LOVES it (every other kid at the pool wants to play with it ,and luckily it comes with a couple different things it's sharable) . it wouldbe really cool as a beach toy. all the pieces seem really durable. Every piece has a purpose and it all stores right in the pot.

Well made and typical Melissa and Doug quality. Worth the extra money over the traditional cheap sand toys. My daughter and her friends loved these. Will buy the other pieces like this in the future for use.
