The Sims 3: Ambitions
The Sims3 Ambitions, is okay and there is fun, but the original price is not worth it (i got a good price from Amazon.com) I like the game play and it is fun to be a firemen and put out fires, some new items (very few) a working washer and dryer and laundromat, but something is just off about these add ons for Sims 3, i just can`t quite figure it out, but the Sims 2 was always great in all areas of the game and add ons. I do so love The Sims games, From Sims 1, 2 and maybe 3 (not sure about The Sims 3) I won`t stop playing Sims 3 on PC, but to be real with you, i like The Sims 3 on Playstation 3 much better, (call me crazy) I play The Sims 2 alot more. Sorry my reveiw is not longer, but i never got bored with the The Sims 1 & 2, but "Happy Simming" to one and all, maybe i will come back and update after even more game play. I have the "Hard Copy" version, i don`t care for "digital downloads" The Sims 3: Ambitions [Download]

You can trust to buy used
I've only played two new jobs so far and I love them. The game came in good condition and the installations didn't take more than 5 minutes

They Did It Again!
EA has done it again! They have released the second successful expansion pack for the popular PC game, The Sims 3. With each expansion pack, the creators of The Sims show a little more creativity. With the previous expansion, World Adventures, your sims could travel the world in three select locations- Egypt, China and France. This expansion is no exception. Now, as the player, you have the ability to control what your sims do at work. Not only that, but there are many more career opportunities available than ever before! I have played this expansion several times because there are so many new aspects of the game to explore. I would highly recommend this expansion to anyone who is interested in The Sims.

If you don't use cheats, and still aim at wealth, this game is for you.
In my opinion, this expansion pack is not for everybody, as people that use multiple sims when playing will have a hard time dealing with more than one profession. as you need to give sims constant attention when working. it's hard to catch a thief while simotaniously putting out infernos. but otherwise, this game is worth the money if you don't use cheats. because if you're rich, why work? but otherwise this expansion is fun, but after you have done the professions more than three days, it gets repettitive and boring. the professions are, firefighter, P.I., an extension to the medical career which is hard to come by, architect, (basically interior designer) and self employed, which is basically getting paid for skills. (examples=painting, inventing, sculpting, tatooing, stylist.) there is predictably a new world, called twinbrook. and personally, it is my second favorite EA world after bridgeport. twinbrook is a swampy yet very well plotted town. the town reminds me of saugatuck michigan, as the large lake is connected to two streams. the the town holds all of the lots needed to fully use all new jobs. this includes a salon/tatoo parlor, fire station, (no more random npc spawning at your house for a fire!) two junkyards, and whatever i missed. all in all, if you like to play fair, this expansion is for you

Easy install, loads more fun
This install without a problem and adds a lot of new jobs that you have to be apart of and the character doesn't disappear down a "rabbit hole".

Like changing your world/people
Like changing your world/people? THis is the game of games. If you go into stylist, be sure you know how to style with using paint tool on clothes etc...you can really personalize your game play. Loved this, got to do archetecture throughout the town (I wasnt gonna stop with their room they hired me for) and got some great client responses.

The best expansion I've found
I love this expansion, it adds so much to my gameplay. My disc came in perfect condition. The only problem I've found seems to be a programming bug that both my friends and I have noticed. When we get to a high enough level in inventing, everytime we click on the workbench, the game lags for 10-30 seconds. It gets kind of annoying, but that hasn't stopped me from loving everything else about the expansion, plus, you can blow stuff up! From your bed, fridge and toilet, to your neighbors car. If you can interact with it, you can detonate it.

Ambitions is awesome
I love this expansion pack, as I do all of the expansion packs. I have never had any problems installing expansion packs nor have I had any issues with any glitches or bugs. I love the different professions than in the Sims 2. The architectural designer is fun. I think it is interesting to redecorate other households. It is fun to be a firefighter. Having washing machine is nice. Makes household seem more realistic with dirty clothes on the floor. It's fun to see them do laundry. When you reach a certain level in the medical profession, you get to treat Sims at clinics on different community lots, which is neat. Overall, I am happy with the EP.

She's enjoyed it.
My daughter (11) says this is 5 star. It's old, yes. But she plays Sims 3 and Sims 4 on PC still. She wanted this old expansion that she didn't have so as to add more to her Sims 3 play. She's enjoyed it.

Twinbrook is one of the better towns
I had delayed in ordering this expansion pack for quite awhile, as I'm not one to really concentrate on furthering my Sim's careers. I always thought, that why would you want a dead end job in a game too ha-ha! Though, I have to say I'm surprised that I like Ambitions so much. I had been getting bored of the towns I was playing in, so I decided to go with ordering Ambitions over The Sims 3 Supernatural Limited Edition as I'm not a huge fan of the monsters/vampires and The Sims 3 Seasons wasn't available yet (though I do plan on ordering those in the future). Twinbrook is the town that you will get when you get Ambitions and it's probably my favorite town of all so far. I love the houses, they are so much more functional. Also, Twinbrook is situated on the water, it looks like an island a bit. Many of the more expensive homes are built on platforms or pile-ons and I love the new lofts you can make. There's quite a few new lifetime rewards and personality traits you can add too. There's also new hairstyles for men and women added, and a few new clothing options. I also like the new wall and fabric options. I also think that the premade townie families are less boring in Ambitions. I started out playing a townie who wanted to be a Stylist and fulfilled her lifetime wish rather quickly, as I always loved making new Sims, I love to makeover the whole town. She ended up marrying a man who was an inventor and it was funny to have him detonate his wares at the consignment shop when the cashier made him mad ha-ha! The only thing I don't like on this one is on the Stylist career, when you need to take a photo for your portfolio, if you are playing with a touchpad it's impossible to get a photo of the Sim you just madeover. My Sim's portfolio is full of photo's of walls! Overall, this one is much more fun than I thought it would be, these jobs have much more freedom than the traditional rabbit hole jobs. Even if you're not the kind of player to concentrate on your Sim's careers you might like this one anyway, I know I do.
