Look and sounds great.

We love it. Some said it was too loud, but we find it sounds like a babbling brook. Very refreshing.

Great investment!!

This fountain exceeded my expectations. I’ve had it running for a few hours, haven’t had any splashing issues. Was really easy to assemble. As some of the previous comments stated, the directions aren’t great, but that’s only because it doesn’t have pictures to show you the steps. A little common sense will get you through it though considering you only attach two plugs, one for lights and one for the pump...

Worth it

Have received many compliments on its looks and sound (I enhance the water sound by placing a stone on the top tier to break up the water flow). Great value.

Gushing Water? Not

Love my new fountain its big realistic looking and looks nice. I've read several negative review about harsh water noises and sounds. Like most negative reviews many are due to people lack of knowledge. The pump on these has an adjustable water flow as indicated by the arrows on the pump inlet side. If you leave it on full I would agree water comes out pretty fast which isnt a a bad thing just means the pump is strong. I turned mine down to about 3/4 open and its perfect. As with most reviews it doesn't matter how good the product is someone somewhere hated it. For me this ones a keeper

Very natural looking, sounds wonderful and has been running 24/7 for several months. It has a course sponge-like material where the water flows over which gives it a very natural overflow appearance.

Alpine WIN258 Rain Forest Waterfall Fountain.

I was and am still highly satisfied with this purchase of Alpine WIN258 rain forest waterfall fountain. I have only used Distilled water in it as recommended by Alpine and it works great (WalMart 78 cents a gallon). I find it splashes less when I set it in the middle of high and low. It's not really too time consuming to clean, I clean it once a month as recommended and as far as the lighting is concerned it looks great although I would have put one light in the very top tier of the falls. Oh yes I forgot...the craftsmanship and attention to detail is supurb!!!!!

Brings tranquility and calm to any room.

This is so beautiful in my sun room and pleasant to listen to the water making for a calm tranquil setting. My sun room has a brick wall as it is really an addition to the house. The floor is cement with cement overlay that looks like reclaimed wood. This is the perfect focal point with a rustic appeal. However, this would look good in most any room bringing the outdoors in.

Great waterfall!

As a gift to my wife for Mother's Day I completely renovated our backyard because she had been wanting a place to relax for a while now. I bought the waterfall as her big gift and it looks fantastic! I've only been using it for two days now but it really boosted the relaxed feel of our backyard. It's loud which is what we wanted, but it doesn't splash at all so it would be used indoors if desired. It has a realistic look and is well lit but not too bright. There are two power cords, one for the lights and the other for the water pump and they both are approximately 6ft long. The product shipped quickly as well. My only hope is that the pump and lights last a long duration but no cons in my opinion thus far.

I highly recommend this item

Just received and it's winter but we connected it inside to make sure it works! It is loud sound which we wanted and the lights are enough for outside when dark. I highly recommend this item.
