Makes tube feeding tolerable

My husband was prescribed tube feeding this year after a bout with cancer and insurance would only pay for a specific brand of liquid food which upset his stomach. After struggling with it and sever weight loss, our daughter suggested Orgain. Although insurance will not pay for it, we found by mixing it with the other liquid, it made it far more digestible and solved a lot of our problems. Very grateful it is on the market.

Food Drink

I like this stuff. I like that it's organic. I did have one this morning that was super thick for some reason. :-/ I threw it out. You really should pour these into a glass to drink. I do that with all drinks in this kind of container because I had a bad coconut water once too. The others are fine. It is not sweet as it says, but it does have a vanilla flavor. I'll buy more. I liked the chocolate ones too.

The best tasting organic health drink I've ever had!

See my notes later in this review, if you're questioning the CARRAGEENAN ingredient! These drinks are so good for you and they actually taste great! I've tried many, many health drinks and meal replacement drinks only to find they had ingredients that weren't so good for you or they tasted average to bad. That's not the case with Orgain drinks. They have (at least I know the Sweet Vanilla Bean drink has) 16 grams of organic protein, organic complex carbs for sustained energy, 10 certified organic fruits and veggies, 23 vitamins and minerals, free of soy, free of preservatives, free of artificial sweeteners, free of corn syrup. That's what I'm looking for in a healthy drink, that will be replacing my morning sweet coffee!! And if you're someone who quit drinking these drinks because they added STEVIA ... great news ... they removed it!! Yaay! I had a bad review posted here because of the Stevia being added (it ruined the flavor), but the company contacted me right away to let me know they have since removed the Stevia and they would make it right with me on any drinks I had purchased that still had the Stevia. Also, if you're concerned about the CARRAGEENAN like I was, I have posted below what I received as a response to an email I sent the company about that ingredient. I had told them it was not a safe ingredient, therefore I stopped drinking their drinks. ______________________ HERE IS THEIR RESPONSE ABOUT CARRAGEENAN ... Hi Robbi! Thanks so much for reaching out. As you know, Orgain is certified organic so we do not use hormones, antibiotics, GMO ingredients, pesticides, etc. We use an organic compliant, non-degraded form of carrageenan that comprises approximately 0.028% of the total product. You may also be interested in our new vegan shakes which do not use carrageenan and are sold nationally at Whole Foods. We also have a new plant based protein powder that does not use carrageenan and is available at all Costco locations. More info is attached for those as well. Finally, the trace amount we use is so low that we will work on transitioning it out of the shakes in the coming 6 months to avoid any consumer confusion on the type and quantity used. Yummy nutrition shake

I am really loving this nutrition shake. Surprisingly it has helped cut down my cravings for junk food. I drink it for breakfast and I am good until lunch. The taste and texture is similar to Silk vanilla almond milk. Though it is expensive I will continue to buy it because it is one of the few brands with NO CARRAGEENAN! I'm one of the unlucky people who ends up with headaches/migraines and my carpal tunnel flaring up whenever I have something with carrageenan. Personally I think Orgain tastes better than Premier Protein (which does contain carrageenan).

Orgain is a FINE Nutrition Shake/ Meal Replacement

This is a satisfying nutritional supplement that I decided to try when offered as a Lightening Deal. I had given up on meal replacement products because of the unhealthy ingredients found on their labels. The Orgain Sweet Vanilla was the product I tried and found that it more than met my expectations, it is surprisingly satisfying. I replaced my previous breakfast with this supplement and it keeps me going until 1pm when I have time for lunch. I need to get out the door early each am and keep moving at the horse barn with chores and riding, this product is really helping me out. I feel a little "better", too ... not quite sure how to describe it, maybe it has something to do with the extra protein in the morning. Just fyi, I contact the manufacturer before I placed my order as I had a question, they responded quickly.

Ideal way to feed good nutrition to my 100+ years old client. She LOVES it and we all feel better knowing she is still able to receive adequate protein as she no longer eats solid food. I love it also, it's my go-to choice for breakfast. YUM!

Great Product, great price!

Love this product, solved my breakfast dilemma - need protein but don't feel like eating anything in the morning. I was buying it in 'health food' stores but found it much less expensive to purchase through Amazon Prime. It's also carried in Walmart and Walgreens and it's still cheaper on Amazon Prime!

These are great to have on hand as you never know when ...

These are life savers for me. I am 63 and have gall bladder problems that act up once in a while and also I get diverticulitis and recently had an infected tooth which required a root canal. These are great to have on hand as you never know when something will come up and cause you to not be able to eat solid food for a (hopefully) short term. The other nutrition drinks sold in stores are full of high fructose corn syrup and a lot of other additives I have no idea what they are. I feel a lot better using these. It isn't as sweet but sweet enough and after all, you are using it for the nutrition for a short term and better to drink this down than something that has a bunch of ingredients that don't belong in food.

BEST TASTING ORGANIC SHAKES

By far one of the greatest experiences I've had ordering with a company. Everything came in perfect condition and Dina answered all of my questions promptly. These shakes taste amazing and aren't chalky like so many other shakes I have tried. I'm a 24 year old with Crohn's disease and am on a liquid diet for three months that consist of Orgain Shakes. Thankfully we live in a time where a company like this exists making phenomenal organic shakes in ready to go packaging. I've already ordered over 5 boxes of this and the chocolate flavor. Both are delicious. The vanilla tastes a little sweeter if that's what you're looking for

These are delicious and in my opinion, the healthiest protein drinks out there.

I have spent hours researching protein drinks, and am more than willing to forego some protein for taste, and these are delicious. I didn't care for the chocolate, because it was too chocolately, but LOVE the vanilla. Also, beware of the new vanilla ones they are putting out in stores that have 20 grams of protein. They taste awful. I have gone from store to store to find the ones with 16 grams because they go on sale at the stores, but haven't had any luck. If I didn't love them so much I'd have given them three stars because I think they should be cheaper, and I'd buy a lot more if they were. Companies should realize if they'd lower their price they'd sell more product!
