These are perfect for my needs! After some acclimating these are easier on the jaw than molded, professional versions, can be tossed after 2-3 days, and are easy to wear. Some notes for helping you to have a successful experience: -The first time I put them on, I thought, these are too flimsy. They weren't! They stayed in all night. -The first time I put them on, I thought they were uncomfortable, so waited until I was almost asleep, put them on and voila! Ditto for my husband. He put them on and refused to wear them. I waited one night until he was almost a sleep and made him wear them. He loves it now! -If your gum feels a little tender in one spot, change from upper teeth to lower or vice versa. After having them on for almost a week, I had one sensitive spot, so switched to my upper teeth, and no problem. Now, I just alternate. -3 days is a bit much to wear them. I think 2 is perfect. Maybe because I clinch so hard, but they flatten out so that I think my teeth might grind still. All and all, with a rinse, these are perfection!

I had Plackers a few years ago. I've tried different ones from stores in the area and they weren't comfortable. I'm glad I finally found them on Amazon since I couldn't find them again locally. They work perfectly to keep your teeth apart at night. And you can choose to wear them on the top teeth or bottom teeth, whichever is more comfortable to you. They are thin, not bulky, and are comfortable. BTW, they say to wear one for three days. They don't get out of shape so that's not a problem, but when I get up in the morning, I brush them with toothpaste under cool water. It keeps them more hygienic so I can wear each one for about two weeks with no problem. Wouldn't recommend wearing them longer than that though. Toothpaste only extends the time. To keep your teeth/gums healthy after that, I don't think toothpaste will do enough to keep them germ-free.

I can't believe I spent hundreds of dollars (some of my own dollars and some of my insurance company's dollars) on a big, bulky, annoying, poorly fitted night guard, when these existed. These are more comfortable than the one I got from my dentist, ridiculously cheaper, absolutely accomplish the same thing, and are theoretically disposable, although I have been using one for a couple weeks now and have definitely seen no reason to dispose of it when I give it a rinse every morning and an occasional scrub. This is easier to maintain that the big bulky awful expensive thing I got from my dentist, and I only wish I tried this first instead of letting my dentist talk me into that insurance scam that they call a night guard.

Bought these because I liked the design of the product over the full upper....and expensive.... dental guard my dentist made for me last time. The one made by my dentist restricted my breathing and caused my mouth to become so dry that I would wake up in the middle of the night. I tried the DenTek Platinum guards first which were comfortable, stayed in place and didn't restrict my breathing, but the two pads that separate your top and bottom teeth on both sides was so hard that I actually woke up with a headache two days in a row. If you clench your teeth at night like I do, these two small bite pads actually increase the pressure on fewer teeth instead of spreading it out over all your teeth and actually increased the pain of teeth from clenching. I discovered Plackers Grind no More Night Guards which have the same design as the DenTek Platinum guards but made out of a softer material that solved this problem. The Plackers are considered disposable, but have been lasting me about a week each and at $16 for a 14 count pack /$1.20 per guard its worth it. They are the most comfortable dental guards I have used, stay in place with no issue and work great.

I love these dental grind guards!! I have tried most every kind out there, and these Plackers are the absolute best in my opinion. I've used these for years, and was so happy to see them here for such a reasonable price. No boiling, shaping, molding etc. And I found all of those kinds so bulky in my mouth, I eventually wound end up throwing them across the room because they felt like I had a mouthful of marbles in the night. These are just thin little flexible universally sized guards that work on either top or bottom teeth, are very comfortable and fit well, and stay in the mouth easily all night. I can't even tell I'm wearing them when I am sleeping. I end up getting a couple week's wear out of each one rather than their suggested 3-5 days, as I find they don't wear down easily. They come individually wrapped in a little plastic "tray" which I use to store them every day, and for travel (if you don't peel the top flap all the way off). I'm a terrible nighttime grinder, and these have really saved my teeth!

Best of all the devices I've tried. I was in an accident many yrs ago. The disk in one jaw is gone. I clench and grind my teeth. It's important I don't get wear on my jaw bone. I had a $1,000 acrylic device made many years ago but it broke. Now dentists want $4,000. I've bought several devices on Amazon hoping to find relief. The one that does only front teeth, the one that is soft and you mold just upper teeth, the one that molds upper and lower as one device, and a few others. I was in pain from the first night with each. I thought I'd try these because I couldn't find anything else to try. After the first night I was shocked. Pain went from a 10 to a 3 . I don't wear through them at all. I could wear one for many nights, but after about 5 nights I notice it becomes less rigid and my jaw becomes more painful. But still no wear on the device. I think if the plastic was even harder I could wear one longer. For me about 4 nights is perfect. I put it on my upper jaw. But it can go on upper or lower. On my lower it rubs my gums a bit. It's nice it can be used either way. For me both work, it's just upper is more comfortable.

I found them a little hard to get used to, initially. They did not feel comfortable on my bottom teeth, but they work well on the top teeth. When wearing them, it is impossible to grind your teeth. Nice surprise was that they reduced snoring, so I sleep better, and can even sleep on my back. If you want, they do last longer than three days each --- I have cleaned mine each morning, and kept the same one for a couple of months. I think they have formed a new 'habit' for my jaw muscles, and I find that I am clenching my teeth less during the day, as well.

I was skeptical. I have an expensive mouth guard from my dentist, but was looking for something to take with me travelling so I don't have to risk losing my good one. I'm a champion grinder. I have ruined several teeth with my grinding. I have to wear a guard every night or I end up with severe headaches and pain down through my jaw, shoulder and into my back. These things are so tiny, I figured no way they would work. But thankfully I was wrong. LOVE them! I tried them on my bottom teeth first and they were ok. But then tried on my top teeth instead and they work great. So I suggest trying both positions to see which works best for you. When you look at them it's hard to believe they will stay in place but they do. I even wear them at home sometimes when I'm too lazy to clean my good one! Do yourself a favor and try them!

these plackers are great. i use one every night. i clench my teeth while i steep and my neck was really hurting, bought these and in 2 days my neck stopped hurting. not recommending, but this is what i do. these things will last way longer than the length stated on the box. i use mine until it feels flat. i gave my son in law these. he had the same relief of neck pain. so worth it's not even funny.

In addition to teeth grinding problems, I also have a chronic problem with swallowing at night. NONE of the full mouth or boiling type guards allowed me to swallow properly during the night. I often woke up feeling like I was choking and had to physically remove the guard to properly swallow. I tried the guard that was much thinner and allowed adjustment, but the plastic was too hard and caused more pain than it cured. I also tried the brand of disposable that uses small tubes to bite against but the largest end tubes had to be trimmed or they would painfully rub against my tongue. Grind No More are soft enough to cushion my bite so no pain, durable enough to last a week or more (with daily cleansing) and slender enough so they don't block my ability to swallow during the night so I sleep much better every night. I don't sleep with my mouth open so they don't slide around or fall out. Reading several reviews, most reviewers either hate them (open mouth sleepers?) or love them, like me. Depending on how you sleep will determine which category you will fall into but at least, it's cheap enough to try.
