First time waxing my own eyebrows!

So I have used these strips before for my unsightly mustache and while they may not work perfectly I still love them. Why? Because I often break out no matter what salon I have gone to for starters. Secondly, because the price beats the salon any day of the week. Thirdly, it was delivered— so I didn’t have to leave my house, waste gas, search for a parking spot or make an appointment. So I had this idea and I am sure it’s been done, but here’s how I did my brows. Held the strip below my brow and drew a line parallel to my brow line on the strip. Traced it on the other side. Cut strip on the line. Warmed up strips with my hands. Separated and nervously applied first one, making a point not to touch my lashes. Used my lil ice cube to go over it and let the wax cool slightly. Pulled skin taut, and peeled quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth. Repeat for other side. Then I did the same process for the top of my brows making sure everything was lined up evenly. Used the provided wipe to remove any excess wax, washed my face to get all the oily stuff off. Iced again a little to get the redness to go down. I have sparse brows that are not very thick and a scar or something that makes my inner brow part on only one side grown super weird. I have used these for years!!! 5 stars!

I am SHOCKED that these aren’t rated higher! I have to think it is user error. I have used these for years and love them. Waxing without mess! No goo all over, no hot wax, and they remove the hair for sure. MAKE SURE TO WARM THEM UP IN YOUR HANDS before separating, place on hair, rub in the direction of the hair with a little friction to keep it warm, and pull fast. Works every time.

They Worked for Me!!

I bought these strips and then read the reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. For me, they worked great even removing hair that I didn't know was there. I washed my face with a regular Dove soap bar. I did this because I have naturally oily skin and most of my facial products have some type of chemical in them, I didn't want to cause myself any irritation. Next, I rubbed the strips in my hands for about a minute. I then applied one strip to each side of my upper lip being sure to press along the wax area of the strip. Finally, I quickly removed each strip going against the direction of my hair growth. They definitely work!!

Easy

Good for facial waxing might be nice if it came w/ disinfectant pads as I usually have small white pustules pop up (probably slightly infected hair follicles) after use. I have pads of my own in my first aid kit I will be using from now on; hopefully this helps!

These little strips are perfect. You can cut them to size they're easy to use and it works! No pre mixing no preheating no mess just prep apply and pull that simple love it

Better than any other wax strips I've ever used!

The title says it all, the only thing that I would change about the package is the amount of the oil wipes! I use only one strip at a time so one box lasts for quite a while. These are even better than Veet strips!

Would purchase again

These are perfect for shaping my eyebrows. I don’t have time to always go to the salon so I often use these strips. So easy to use and they definitely work in place of painful plucking my eyebrows one at a time.

I had never tried waxing at-home before until I had no choice due to covid-19 closing all salons. I was nervous about trying it myself and read all the reviews before I purchased this product. I have really sensitive skin so I was worried that I would tear my skin with the wax. I did exactly as I read in others reviews, peeling the wax strip off in the opposite direction of my hair. I also warmed it a tad with the hair dryer before applying. I put just a dab of baby powder on my lip before I apply the wax, so that it wouldn't tear my skin. Also when I peeled in the opposite direction, I made sure to hold the wax strip very close to my skin. If you read the reviews you will get a good idea of how to use this product properly if you have never tried waxing yourself. I can't believe I have been paying somebody else to do this for so long when I could simply do it at home. I will continue to use this product and do it at home from now on. I have super sensitive skin so I do get bumps after I wax. I try to keep my skin as clean as possible after waxing and use an aloe vera gel to alleviate some of the bumps from occurring.

I've been using these for years

I love these facial wax strips. They are very easy to use and give a clean wax. I use them on my upper lip. They have only broken the skin 1 or 2 times. I've tried other forms of wax that you have to heat up in the microwave, which can be messy, hard to use, and ineffective. I was thrilled when I found this product. You just have to rub the wax strip between your palms for 30-60 seconds to create heat then apply and pull off. I did seem to have a "bad batch," or the previous box I had purchased might have had an expiration date. The wax didn't soften up, but was hard and stuck to the paper but not my upper lip. I had never had this problem before in all the years I've purchased this product. I hope this new box does not have the same problem. I will update my review if they do.

Best Decision I've Made!

Guys. Buying these was the best decision I've made!!! I never write reviews but this time I just have to share because it was a hard decision to make after reading some of the negative reviews... With my luck, I'd definitely be one to either lose a chunk of skin or not get any hair off at all! But 20 strips for 5 dollars? Totally had to try it and I'm so glad I did. These things really work!!! I'm never going to the salon again. (At least, not for a lip/face wax). Plus it was so much less painful as my brain was more mentally prepared for it then when someone else is inflicting the pain. I can't believe there are any negative reviews on this. I'm pretty much convinced the negative reviews were from people who just didn't read the instructions or something. I don't know. All I know is this stuff is so easy to use and it worked like a charm for me and is going to save me so much time, money, effort... I'm basically floating on air right now. Everyone who is considering it, just buy it!!! This product is a gift from above. Oh I should also mention, I'm not talking about little peach fuzz. I've got thick, dark hair on my upper lip. Have had it all my life. My husband can even feel it when he kisses me if I don't keep up with it. 😣 I'm so so excited about this product!! Total game changer!!!!!!!!
