Reliable, works well
A good standard keyboard and mouse set. It does what I want it to do. No point paying lots more $$ for exactly the same features! This one works well and does the job. Our whole family uses it on our shared computer, and kids and adults alike have no problems using it. The keys (even the special keys etc) are exactly where I'd expect to find them - I had been using another keyboard before - so there was nothing unusual or weird about this one, no quirks. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a good quality keyboard at an affordable price point.

Great for basic use
I got this product to go with my new gaming PC. I wanted something affordable, since I'd already overspent on the computer itself, so I went with this. Frankly, at this price, you normally get what you pay for. However, I'm happy to report that what I got instead was a solid, functional, no-nonsense keyboard and mouse. It seems like a better idea to buy your mouse and keyboard separately, to get the best value, but there's really no reason not to go for this, unless you need something special. The keys on the keyboard are well-spaced and seem sturdy enough. The mouse lacks some features that gamers might want, but is still excellent at what it was intended to do. I'm not sure what the DPI on this thing is, but it serves adequately for clicking people's heads until they die, which seems to be the point of the entire FPS genre. A couple things against this product: the little protrusions on the F, J, and numberpad 5 keys that identify them to touch typists could be a bit bigger. When I'm looking at the screen and searching for the home row at the same time, it takes a bit longer because I don't always notice those keys. Also, as I mentioned earlier, the mouse is very feature-sparse. It has two buttons and a scroll wheel, but no thumb buttons or adjustable DPI. This doesn't matter for most people, but I will be buying another mouse for my gaming and keeping this one for other purposes. I shouldn't have tried to game with this basic mouse, but it is still a good one for what you pay. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I am now the proud owner of a well-designed keyboard and (so far) reliable backup mouse. I've only had these things for a couple weeks at the time of writing, but if something terrible happens, I will edit this review with my new opinions.

Great Backup to Have in a Pinch
This is a fine product to have around as a backup. I have two in a closet for emergencies. It is not a "gaming" keyboard, but it will work fine for playing games (as long as you don't need macro keys). The mouse is very basic, and too light, and has no thumb buttons. But for what this is -- a very inexpensive USB keyboard and mouse -- you cannot go wrong. I use it often when repairing other's computers at my house when they don't bring their own I/O devices. I've used it after I accidentally ruined my main keyboard while waiting for its replacement to arrive. I use it to plug into the USB port of my DVD changer to input title and artist info, etc. My 5-star rating is for what I use it for: a backup solution in case I really need a working mouse and/or keyboard in a pinch. Logitech makes solid input devices. If I were rating this as my main keyboard/mouse, then I would only give it 3-stars for being adequate (it works fine, but it is a no-frills, spartan design with membrane keys, and the mouse is very basic). As a reference for my idea of a high quality gaming peripheral, I use a Logitech G710+ and a G9x as my main keyboard/mouse combo.

Quality low cost keyboard that has longevity.
I cannot really attest for the mouse included (seems like a decent low cost standard mouse) HOWEVER, the keyboard is a k120 keyboard. and is excellent if you're on a budget and use your computer heavily. I've owned 2 k120 keyboards used heavily daily over a span of 4-5 years. (They're cheap, like 10 dollars at "fallmart" cheap.) Which is why I bought this combo. (only needed the keyboard, but wanted the mouse as a spare "just in case") There is nothing fancy about it, it's a standard keyboard which will hold up to a lot of abuse. (My past two, the letters wore off the keys as I approached 13 months of HEAVY use, I do not need the stickers. and this did not alter function of the keyboard) As stated, nothing fancy, not mechanical, but it is a sturdy no frills keyboard that does stand the test of time. (An average user could probably have this keyboard working fine for 4 years. my average life span of generic keyboards is 3 months. I get about 2 years out of this model.) This is my budget friendly go-to daily use input device. (I live at my PC...) Past two k120 keyboards I've owned, reason for replacement was the metal spring bar under the spacebar would stick/fail. (I used a temporary work around until I got the new keyboard by using a number key from the keypad as a temporary space bar.) Otherwise I wouldn't have purchased this combo or written this review. (using the keyboard purchased to type this review.)

Logitech Keyboard and Mouse combo
I just needed a spare keyboard and mouse on hand in case something goes wrong with what I have. I was caught of guard when my mouse finally died after many years of use. I found out fast that you can't do anything on the computer without the mouse and of course it was on a Sunday when I would need to drive 56 miles to get to a bigger town and store. Lesson learned, I now have a spare keyboard and mouse on hand for very little cost. I have not used the Logitech Keyboard and Mouse combo yet but I am sure when I do need them they will be find. Thank you Logitech and Amazon. Sincerely, J.A. Dexter

Very good quality and perfect for the price, would definitely recommend.
These actually work great and the quality is great for the price. I purchased 2 of these for each of our computers and they work perfectly and are very comfortable to use. I thought they may be poor quality because of the price but was very pleasantly surprised, they look and work great. I would recommend these highly...

It just works. Always.
Other than for gamers, and perhaps even the "tech elite," I can't imagine why anyone would buy anything but this simple, reliable and easy to use keyboard. It's a logitech. Not to base my review on a brand, but I've probably bought over 1,000 of them for my business entities and they just work. Other than due to my own violent rage at my computer, I've never had one break. They don't lag, the button layout is what any computer user would expect and the tactile response is very gratifying. This really is a given for me. I'll buy many more in the past.

The keyboard that I have been looking for
This is the keyboard that I have been looking for. I had a D*** keyboard for about 3 weeks and the keys were sticking already, and the backspace and space bar had failed. Typing an article was an adventure in frustration. This one is delightfully sensitive but well built. I can totally fly when I am typing something. It is built strong like the big old clunky keyboards, but with sensitive keys, a reasonable footprint, and medium light weight. I love it. I haven't tried the mouse yet, I have a super high DPI gaming mouse that works good. I did need to go into the Win7 control panel and delete the old keyboard to make this one work right. As soon as I did this installed instantly and worked great. I believe that to be a Dell/Windows issue, not a problem with this keyboard. Again I just love this keyboard. At this price I might just buy another one for the shelf for a backup.

Consistent Logitech Quality
The keyboard doesn't have the solid quality feel of the old IBM keyboards, but it's 15% of the cost. For a mass produced electronics item, the quality is very good. I'm typing this review on the keyboard and I've had it for months. It's difficult to wear out a Logitech keyboard, even their lower priced keyboards. I'm amazed that they can produce such a quality product at such a low price. The value is off the chart. I don't ever bother looking at other manufacturers. Installation is plug-and-play on my Ubuntu Linux system, for the mouse and keyboard. The only way this could be any better is to make the mouse magically repel cat fur. As it is, every couple of months, the mouse response will become erratic. I'll spend a couple of seconds pulling out a bit of lint or cat fur from the LED pocket underneath the optical mouse and it's as good as new. While this is a subjective assessment, the keyboard action is just about perfect for me. I wouldn't hesitate to write the great American novel using this keyboard. If I wore it out, or more likely killed it by dumping a mug of tea into it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another to replace it.

Surprisingly Nice...
Comfortable, quiet typing is a fact with this new low end set of hardware for your computer. The mouse even offers high-definition optical tracking. Make sure you download the Logitech software ( not required ) for optimal configuration options. I do miss the media controls my last highend keyboard offered. Problem with those boards, the text on the key pads wore away too soon. I am trying this keyboard as they claim it will not happen and I will hold their feet to the fire on that promise. In fine: Logitech has a great reputation and I have never had any issues with their products. The Logitech Desktop MK120 is a great deal for a very usable scroll mouse and a quiet sturdy keyboard.
