The game itself is fun. But I really like to see the price go down a bit for the special edition $40 for 5 iron figures may be not worth it.

The game itself is alot of fun, there's a huge modding community, and the game fully supports it. Each Civ has their own unique personality which make it fun to strategize, once you meet specific civs. The game does require Steam to play, which i guess for some people, is a flaw in that you have to have an internet connection. The collectors edition has a fairly short making of movie, i was a bit disapointed they didn't show more; seems like they just did the whole thing a couple weeks before the disks were being printed. The figures are nice quality, lots of detail. Just the right size to incorporate into a board game if you wanted (play monopoly with a Giant Death Robot!). The art book is fantastic. gives you a run down of each civ, and shows all the variations of maps that they went through before they found a nice flow.

If you loved all previous CIV games, the limited edition is a no-brainer. I am also a miniatures collector, so probably the beautiful putter minis included mean a lot for me. Te box is great and the extra Soundtrack and DVD included are a great addition. The game itself lives up to its predecessors and absolutely revives the "one-more-turn-mom, please" syndrome I lived with in my teen ages, tough now it is more a "one-more-turn-honey, please" syndrome. IMHO, some previous editions were a bit more involving and I would have expected more of the influence and religious stuff from the past, but now influence is less determining than ever before and religion was totally removed (maybe a wise move in the world we live now).

Yes, another Civilization, the game I play every day a little. All Sid Meier games are fabulous, all time (I remember very well how I had love to play Railroad Tycoon, still in DOS ambience! The Special Edition, although a bit pricey, is very good by offering. Also the version V has good innovations (for instance, it's necessary to buy the land before use. Very well, very good.

Civ V is worth every penny, even the special edition if your a collector of well designed, revolutionary video games, the just one more turn aspect of classic civ games is very strong in the newest installment and you can get lost in your own game for hours on end, Game Informer magazine reviewed this game and gave it a 9.75 out of 10. A fantastic buy I highly suggest this game, my computer was not on par with it's recommended requirements but after a few ram drives and a new graphics card it's running smoothly, and even after purchasing and installing new software on my computer I still am pleased with this game. Buy it!
