This Xbox 360 bundle is really worth the extra $50.00. It includes 1 Xbox 360 Console, 2 Wireless Controllers, 4 AA Batteries, 1 Headset and 1 copy of the standard edition of Halo 4. The console and the controllers have a custom design, giving it a Forerunner-like appearance. They are transparent so you can see the insides of the console and controllers. The controllers are battery operated and have rumble feedback. Also, instead of green LEDs, it has blue LEDs. Moving on to the console, it has: 1 power port, 1 AV port, 1 HDMI port, 1 optical audio port, 1 Ethernet port, 1 auxiliary port (with supports Kinect) and 5 USB ports. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with an HDMI cable, but it's good they still include a port for it. Moving on, the headset feels quite uncomfortable, which is a big downside for hardcore gamers who spend hours with a headset on. Next, we have the game itself. The bundle includes Halo 4 which is the theme of the bundle. The game includes 2 discs, one contains the campaign and the second disc includes multiplayer. The campaign is quite short, 8 missions to be exact, but it has been beefed up in difficulty. There are new enemies called Prometheans. They have a much smarter AI than Covenant and will prove to be a challenge. Moving on to the multiplayer, a new CoD system has been added to the multiplayer. Each kill earns you XP, which can be used to rank up. When you rank up, you earn Spartan Points, which can be used to buy new weapons for your 5 loadouts. The objective of multiplayer is to reach SR130 (rank 130) which will keep gamers occupied until 2014, when Halo Xbox One rolls out. Overall, this is the perfect bundle for gamers who are new to Xbox and those people have serious catching up to do.

I bought this used from Amazon Warehouse Deals. I was a bit disappointed that Amazon started charging taxes for used products, however, I am super satisfied with this console. Cons: One of the controllers had a bad battery compartment. It was clear a battery leaked in there and corroded the metal. It was unusable. Both controllers work though! Xbox 360 doesn't really do 1080p that well. It seems more like 720p even with 1080p settings. The menu is also not as smooth as the xbox one, clunky, uncostumizable, and long load times. Pros: Amazon Warehouse does a fantastic job. The console and controllers feel new. They look beautiful and all the blue LEDs scratch an aesthetic itch I didnt know I had. Matches my halo 5 edition xbox one. This was worth buying for the nostalgia alone. For less than $150 it was a steal. Its playing movies and music from my usb 3.0 flash drive right now. It was the perfect media console before the xbox one took over. With backwards compatibility the only reasons I could justify buying this console were to play brutal legend and ODST firefight. Its just so pretty. As a halo/microsoft/bungie fanboy I needed this to complete my limited edition console collection. Now I dont know whether to get the halo edition original xbox or the Halo Reach xbox 360.

I didn't realize that the new Xbox 360s were so much faster than my original (6yr Old Xbox 360) you hear that they are essentially the same under the hood - but this boots far faster, loads games far faster and the controllers respond more quickly. The design on the Halo 4 Edition is also pretty cool, and it runs very cool and quietly. And Halo 4 is a great game... not only is the online multi-player a great experience, but the single-player story arc is the best in the Halo Franchise. You couldn't ask for more. If you are in need of a new Xbox 360 and don't have Halo 4 yet... I highly recommend this. ---- Only one thing I don't like about this, the headset provided is very cheap - cheaper than the default headset for my old Xbox 360 - it's audio is horrible and causes static at the slightest bump. I've gone back to using my old headset. That said - it's not enough of an issue to drop the review down from a 5 star for me. Great overall!

This is my first Elite console but my second 360. I have a launch 360 that is still kicking and I'll be using it for comparison. If you've seen any of the youtube videos then you know about the sounds and the gorgeous looks, so I'll skip that and go into what they don't show off. The first thing I noticed after a short period is the noise, or the complete lack there of.My old Xbox sounds like a jet, kind of like a Dreamcast if you remember those. This new elite console ONLY makes the noises that it's supposed to which are the Halo 4 sounds programmed in. It is, however, slightly brighter than the old 360 since it is a translucent case. Nothing intrusive by far, but subtle if you occasionally glance at it's beauty. It will not get in the way of playing but may be noticeable watching movies on a smaller TV. Now as for the controllers, they are the much improved wireless with the new rotating D-pads. The best way to describe the feel is a slick plastic top and a slightly gritty lower half. Grip is fantastic where it needs to be. Even the joysticks have a gritty feel and even after playing 16 hours straight after launch, sweaty thumbs were never a problem. I have to mention the Fotus armor you receive for download. It may or may not suit your particular taste, but as of now it's selling on Ebay for upwards $100. I've received offers of $100 myself before I received my console through Amazon (Best Buy midnight launch party I attended with friends). When adding up the value of the console you need to put that into the equation. If your spending $350 on this you get two $50 controllers, $100 armor skin, $20 headset, $60 game, $200 console, and $80 320gb HDD. That's $560 if you bought it all separate. Sell a controller and the armor skin, and you've payed $200. That's one heck of a deal either way. Now if your looking for a review of the game from me you wont find it here. Too much can be said and I would sound completely biased towards Halo. Is this the best one? well to me it is by far, but if your looking at a Halo Xbox I doubt you haven't decided to get the game yet. If you want a review that sums up my feelings perfectly go to IGN and watch their video review. So to sum up my feelings about the console this isn't something Microsoft threw together for the holidays so people could spend their money on a rehashed Xbox with new stickers. This IS the Halo xbox and the best value for anyone looking to either buy their first Xbox console or replace an older model. To parents who read this and are trying to decide whether or not this is for their child or children , you get two IDENTICAL controllers(believe me I come from a large family with twins and have dozens of nephews so I feel you on this) and WIFI built in so no cords to the router. It's just a huge plus that it's so quiet that they don't have to yell over the console or turn up the volume on the TV, or both. You only get the one headset but it IS a standard Xbox headset you can by anywhere. Hope this helps you decide either way but I'm enjoying mine and have no doubts any Halo fan would.

Love this! I bought my husband the Gears console in January as a birthday present, and now this for Christmas. While the Gears edition was rather nice, the lights should have been red to match the console instead of green, and the sounds were rather dull and quiet. The Halo console however, is gorgeous. The lights on the console and the controller are all blue, the sounds are louder and more interesting than the Gears console. You can't buy these controllers in stores- they only come with the console. Not to mention this is the biggest standard hard drive you can buy with the console, and you get the two controllers and the game at a great price!

If you already own an xbox there is nothing in the package that will make it worth buying to replace your working xbox slim. The extra hard drive space is great, the sounds are cool, and I like having different controllers then everyone else. You also get a few extras (armors, avatar stuff, etc) and of course Halo 4 and the standard headset. If you need to upgrade your xbox for some reason or just want a cool looking one then by all means get this, but if you are a parent and your kid is pestering you to buy this there is nothing special enough to warrant replacing a perfectly good xbox slim. If you need to get a new xbox the value of this bundle is actually pretty good. It is like getting Halo 4 for free if you bought everything separate and has a cool and different factor so you won't have to write your name on all your stuff when you get together with friends.

What can I say, my wife and I love this system. The hard drive space is large, set-up is easy, there are hardly any processing times to want for, and the 2 controllers are smooth and flawless. Cosmetically, it looks good, but is nothing too impressive. The reason we got it was the fact that it had a large hard drive, 2 wireless controllers, and came with a game with free shipping and handling. Our local store was selling the same system with only one controller and no halo skins for the same price. Since the controllers cost a good chunk of cast too, we decided this was the best deal and has not been disappointed. The only issue we had was the need to purchase a HDMI cable for our HD TV. However, the system did come with an A/V (audio / video) cable, and we could have just plugged that into our DVD player, but that would have lowered the image quality. As a result, we found a good deal on Amazon for a pack of 2 HDMI cables for under $15. In terms of the Halo 4 Game. My wife and I own and have played through all of the Halo games on the xbox 360 platform/console and agree this was our favorite. The graphics were great, gameplay was smooth, the split screen co-op option is not confusing, and the story was concise with a thought provoking ending. Sure we missed the "Flood" (an aspect that was a major theme in the previous games), but this game made a clever twist that clearly replaced the "Flood." There were new and old weapons to play with, new and old bad guys to fight, a board range of vehicles to drive/fly, a large range of playable settings/landscapes to battle on, interesting backstories, and cinematic that were just plan enjoyable to watch. We tend to not play through games more than once without significant time passing first, but this is an exception. The other complaint we had with the game, and this is really not even a complaint, we wish there was a water (sea/ocean/etc) aspect/landscape to the game. You explore so many locations, but a water location with drivable water-crafts would have really been neat. However, the game is truly perfect for any Halo gamer and we will be playing it again soon. I hope this review helps.

This was a great console to have. It is my favorite console that I have ever owned. It actually arrived at my home a day before release. I loved the blue lights that were in the controllers and the console. The sounds were cool, and the memory storage was great. I also ended up having an extra copy of Halo 4, so I gave it to my friend that I played Halo with a lot. I also already had an Xbox 360S (black), so if one of my friends forgot theirs they could use the black one. I absolutely babied this bundle. When I finished playing it, I'd clean and put everything back in the original packaging. This console ran perfectly, with no problems at all. It also ran very quietly. It stayed cool for long periods. The auto shutdown feature would kick in when it got too hot, which I thought was really cool. I didn't have to worry about it overheating and crashing. Unfortunately, I had to sell it in order to pay for some college expenses. Otherwise, I would still have it today. I enjoyed every second of gaming on this.

I've had another xbox slim before this one and it worked great so I expect nothing less from this one. Had it since November and played consistently, four or five times a week for a couple hours and it has performed as it should considering it's one of Microsoft's last iterations of the 360. The sounds it makes when opening the tray are great! Overall it looks super cool, I will be keeping this box for a while. Controllers are great as well, although I am not picky. I do think it is rather stupid it does not come with an HDMI cable since the cable it comes with (red white yellow) just looks terrible obviously.

This is a fantastic bundle at an extremely good price. I was going to purchase the Halo game by itself when I got a call from my grandson frantic because his old (purchased in 2010) was working very well anymore. It was a no brainer to get this bundle. He says it's faster, doesn't need a cooling fan and is smaller than his old one. He's been using it every day since he got it and is very happy with it. Likes the fact that the other games he has which, of course, I purchased from Amazon, work even better. The old one got a lot of use so I certainly didn't mind getting this newer version.
