Holds in place well. Large, easy to clean and all around a good buy. Metal rack can be flimsy though.
My rats took to it immediately. They started using it almost right away and rarely go outside of it. It is large enough for both rats to be on it at once comfortably. It's very easy to install and once in place is easy to remove, clean, and replace. (It should be cleaned out daily, so that's a good feature.) The metal rack can be flimsy and doesn't hold in place all the time, but they don't seem to mind. My one rat has taken to sleeping on it because the rack stays cool. (its about 90 degrees here lately) My girls like it so much that I may buy another one, as their cage is large enough for two. Good for rats and would probably accommodate rabbits or guineas as well. PS If your rats/pets go missing, check behind the litter tray. My girls love to hide behind it and take impromptu naps throughout the day.

Works great for containing rabbit waste! Clean frequently and you won't have problems.
I have two dwarf rabbits that have a bad habbit of digging in their litter box and making a mess every. single. day. Bought this to help prevent that and keep their cage just a bit cleaner! Works great so far! It took them a day to get used to the grate, but they're using it consistently and I only have to pick up stray poops now rather than their whole dumped dish. Unfortunately the locks don't work for me. My rabbits are smart and have long ago figured out how to remove those, so I use little twist ties to keep it in place! Works great. Word of advice: with ANY litter pan, you should be sure to change it every 1-2 days depending on how much your rabbit has filled it. Rabbit pee is very acidic and will muck up the bottom of the pan eventually no matter what you do. I've seen some complaints in the reviews about this - it WILL happen. So be sure to clean it frequently, and if it does happen, it's not the end of the world. They can seill use it... This'll be the third pan my rabbits have gone though as I buy them a new one for $6 every year due to their chewing on it and mucking it up.

25 years of owing rats
This is a great product since toilet paper.... makes cleaning pets cages so easy and less time consuming. Although I have trained my rats since their very young (5-9 weeks) (I have a tiny version), this size - their legs can get caught... I layer Sophresh (crumbled odorless paper) or alternative - NO PINE or other products that cause respiratory (BTW - always freeze the bag before placing - may contain dust mites, mites -- just to be safe). 1 -2 rats you can clean it every 3-5 days, depending on what you feed them... but if they do it in their box - so easy instead of the FULL clean every 2-3 day Plus they don't step in it - like other litter boxes - 1. dump the litter 2. spray, disinfect, rinse hot water & the screen, a cup or so with the bedding, place screen back on - ready to go

I wish I would have bought this sooner
I got my first bunny back in may, about 8 months ago and until recently I had not taken the time to potty train her. I know I'm a horrible parent 😣 I decided it was time to get her a bigger cage so she would have more space to run around and while shopping on here this item kept popping up. I was a little hesitant, thinking I've had her for too long, there's no way she'll use this but I was 100% wrong! I read a few of the reviews where others mentioned how easy it is to potty train rabbits so I gave it a shot and bought this. Her new cage came the same day as the potty tray so it worked out perfect. I bought the largest tray available and installed it in the corner of her cage. I emptied a few of her poop pellets from the pad into her tray and seriously within 5 minutes she smelled it, jumped on it and went to the bathroom. She has not had a single accident in her cage since she got it so no more puppy pad liners! My girl isn't too big and she fits perfectly on the largest one. So if you're buying this for your bunny don't get the normal size, or the small one- they'll be too small.

These things are AMAZEBALLS!!!!!
I wish i bought these sooner! I breed hedgehogs and i remembered my first hog (pet hog) i ever owned like to poop in one corner and decided to give these a try. The first day i installed these in the cages they used them instead of pooping in their food dishes lol. These have made cleaning the cage a BREEZE! The smartest part is that it comes with a grid to protect the litter from being dug out! I have one without a grid (different brand same style) and my hedgehog digs all the litter out and makes a mess. I replaced hers with this and now she uses it to poop instead of sleep in it! Best purchase ever for my Hedgies

Great for my guinea pigs
I love these little litter boxes. I keep one in each corner of my piggies' enclosure, and it really cuts down on the cleaning. My girls use them, because they are very accessible to them. One of my girls uses the litter box pretty much exclusively, and is potty trained. The other three mostly use it, but I still have to sweep up some potties here and there, and they still pee in the places where they eat, but it is very reduced when I use the litter pans. Also, I do not have the yucky messes in the corners of my cage, because the pans are there. I love the locking in place, and I am able to do this even with my C&C style cage because of the boost that my fleece liners give. I do put a pad under each box. I also have a hidey-tent covering the litter boxes in the corner, so my girls are more likely to use it. I just use a piece of fabric or a cloth napkin to make it. I also like the rack because the girls do not toss the litter all around or dig in it. And, they don't hurt their feet because they have a huge enclosure so they don't spend a tons of time sitting on just those little racks. They do not chew on these...we have plenty of other things for them to chew on. I also like them because they secure the corners of my fleece liners! :) I have the jumbo size of these for my rabbits, and I love them. They are durable, the rack is great because it eliminates digging, easy to clean, and attaches to the cage so they don't scoot it all around and dump it. The only thing about the rabbits, is that my female took a little adjustment time to get used to the rack. I had to actually get rid of the rack initially in order for her to use it. Then I was able to put it back in. Great product!

It works well, my guineas new potty area!
I got the regular size for my Guinea Pig and filled it with some shredded newspaper that was already soiled so he could possibly smell that it was a potty area. I had him for two days in a box until his cage came in the mail after getting him from the pet store and he was pooping and peeing everywhere. Once I arranged this in his cage, he immediately figured out this was the potty area and has been doing his business in this area only! Not sure if I have a smart piggy or its all guineas that are this smart. That leaves me with a completely clean fleece liner that won’t have to be washed as often and a clean dry area for him all the time. Also used the cage attachment to keep it in place and it works even better because it doesn’t wobble around when he steps on top. It’s a must have addition to your piggy’s cage! They say the wire bars are bad for their feet but he only steps on there for a couple seconds each time to go and it doesn’t seem like it hurts him either. The product does it’s job!

Great investment Easy to Use
I love this potty! My bunny is just about 5 months old now & fully potty trained. About a month after we got her, we noticed she had a favorite corner in her cage she preferred to potty in. We took out all the bedding & placed this potty with just a few of her dirty old bedding at the bottom to encourage her to use it. She loves it! I placed her water, pellets & hay around her potty because she likes to eat/drink & poo at the same time. Because of this, we saved $200 a month on the bedding! Plus Miss Bun Bun gets full run of the house.

Great! For my two guinea pigs who are 6 ...
Great! For my two guinea pigs who are 6 months now. I like the Jumbo one WAY better then the smaller one simply because I use the wood pellets under the wire grid... which expand when they become wet. With the smaller version... it would sometimes rise above the wire grid or their poop would easily stack up and rise above the grid and it would make them kind of messy to hold.... (Ew) With the Jumbo size, there's plenty of room for their "fave" spots" and even after a few days, it hasn't rose above the grid. (*I usually change the litter once every few days*) Came in two different colors as I ordered 2... One is just like the picture shown and the other was pure white with a slightly marbled look to it.

Easy clean tray
I wasn't sure if this was going to be too big for my bunny. I purchased the jumbo size, but now that she's stepped into it and knowing she'll grow bigger I think it's just right. She's about to be 2 months old, but it's spacious enough for her to turn all the way around. I like how it has a removable wire tray, and removable plastic lip to keep all the contents inside. The tray helps to keep my bunny's feet clean, and her hay that I put directly inside stays contained. Clean up is easy and she's quickly taken to using it once purchased. It's been a great investment so far!
