61XL Black Ink Cartridge

These are a bit pricey but they do last longer than the regular one. HP printers are very finicky and will not work with cheaper aftermarket ink cartridges. So you have to buy HP products. I always buy XL because it has more ink, color or black. Will be reordering this.

Long Lasting Ink Cartridge

I like the XL pack as it lasts much longer in my printer. Nothing worse than printing out several pages only to have to stop in the middle to replace the ink cartridge! This one lasts a really long time!

I have tried using off brands of ink & refillable cartridges. That method was a disaster from making a mess to ruining a printer. I always use the HP cartridges in my HP printer now and never have a bit of trouble.

HP programed my printers not to accept non HP filled cartridges

Thanks to amazon 2 day shipping I was able to keep printing by buying HP cartridges. I threw out a new remanufactured filled cart. that wouldn't work in my printers.

It Works Perfect!

Tried to save money and get one of the remanufactured cartridges and it would lot align itself on my printer. I Immediately ordered an OEM cartridge and it worked perfectly. Lesson learned.

Authentic, Great Value, Lasts FOREVER!!!

I am an online seller and print a TON of receipts and labels. I cannot believe how long these lasted! They came in the same packaging as the ones I previously bought at Walmart & Staples and my HP recognized them immediately with no issues. I get the most life out of them by setting my printing properties to Draft mode & high quality grayscale - they print out nice and dark. When the print starts to get lighter I set it to Normal mode and when that gets lighter I set it to Best Quality, Plain Paper.

it lasts longer than the normal 61 cartridge

hello, you get what you pay for. the larger xl 61 black ink cartridge works well and lasts longer than the regular size cartridge. that is why it is called xl. if you are in a hurry to continue printing, the local stores have this same cartridge. but, for the cost, shipping in two days is a good buy. nothing needs that hurry up printing mode. so the home delivery cartridge is a better deal in the long run.

What can I say other than they last a long time and don't dry out. I very rarely have stuff to print so when I bought this cartridge I hoped it would not dry up between printing stuff. And it does not. I still run the printer once in a while anyways just to make sure but I have had print cartridges that dry up too soon, You can count on this one.
