Do your dog a favor:)
Our dog was on anti inflamitory meds at $60 a month from the vet.! I started our 9 year old 90lb Newfoundland mix on these hoping to replace what we were doing. . She had some very dark days before this supplement. She is now running around after our 9 month old boxer! She is at about 75/80% and we are thrilled. Be patient! It takes time for it to get into the system, but it works! All smiles here. And I smile when she gets up to greet me at the door. She wasn't even wanting to get up to eat before this. I highly RECOMMEND.

I love this product. Never buy the cheap stuff!
I didn't think this would actually make a difference at all. When my pitbull was 3 years old (now 6.5 years), he was limp after an intense fetch session. I bought this just to give it a shot and it has made a HUGE difference -- no more limping just from running. I buy this for all of my friends and family (... with a dog of course) to try out and it has made a noticeable difference for nearly all of them. To top it off, they all love it so it's easy to give at the end of the day, my pitbull waits by his cabinet every night waiting for his. My sister bought the cheapest glucosamine for her dogs and they ended up getting sick from it. DON'T CHEAP OUT!

Great product - better price than store bought!
I had heard about cosequin years ago from my vet and for whatever reason just went with over the counter glucosamine/chrondroitin. This product is very affordable now for how many tablets you get and depending on your dogs size. I'm at the 7th week of the "initial dosage" and I can really tell a difference. Giving to an 11 year old lab and a 9 year old toy poodle. Our lab was having issues with arthritis and general old age and stiff limbs. We had gotten a puppy and she had really lost the ability to play very often. By about the 4th week of these pills her ability to play really changed. She now enjoys running again, 30 minute play sessions and an overall ability to do what she did 5+ years ago. Our toy poodle still doesn't love to play but I think it is helping with her luxating patella and other back issues she had. I wish I had gotten this product sooner! It's a miracle!
I have a 10 year old Shi Tzu. The poor little guy could hardly walk without collapsing on his back left side. He could no longer jump on the couch or off. He would bark for help to get up or down. I took him on morning walks and he would loosen up and be fine. But when he got home he couldn't move much for the rest of the day. In desperation, I searched for a solution on the Internet and came upon this product at my favorite shopping place, Amazon.com. I purchased it and while waiting for my shipment to arrive, I bought something similar from Wal-Mart. That product worked like a miracle but gave him the runs...bad. when this product arrived we discontinued the other one. No more runs and our dog's back to his old self. He's very suspicious of new things so we break it up, mix it with his dry food and boiled chicken (yes, he's spoiled) and my new secret ingredient, a splash of chicken broth from a carton. The first indication that the pills were working is when he sat up on the couch, on his back legs, with his front paws on my shoulder. It wasn't until he did it again the next day that I realized he was trying to tell me he felt better. He hadn't been able to sit like that in months. Now I wonder, do this pills come in a formula for us humans?

My Corgi was limping on her front leg and after ...
My Corgi was limping on her front leg and after doctor visits they couldn't pin point what it was. We assumed it was soft tissue damaged and didn't let her take walks and kept her as inactive as possible. They gave us pain meds, but because the side effects could cause harm to them used long term, I rarely gave them to her. There was no progress and so I was researching about dogs with similar issues and came across this supplement. The reviews had similar stories with positive results so I started giving her 2 of these a day. After a month she improved drastically. She still had a limp but found she could now walk twice a week for short distances with no problem. Now we are halfway through her second bottle and she is no longer limping and can walk daily! No expensive doctor visits or meds, the only thing I changed was adding this to her daily diet and a lot of prayer :) I am also giving this to our 12 year old Jack Russell and I can tell she is more energetic and doesn't seem to get as achy as she did before. We will keep on using this for life!

Your older labs need this!
Our 9 year old lab was having issues getting up from a lying down position. I know that labs oftentimes suffer from hip dysplasia as they get older. Based on the recommendation of a friend, I started looking into glucosamine tablets for our sweet Marly. From day 1 she gobbles these tablets up and thinks they are a treat! That's a huge bonus when having to give a pill to dogs everyday. Usually the quickly figure out what you're doing and end up spitting them out. Not with these! We have given her 3 pills a day for the first month and then tapered to 2 every morning. Already after just a couple of months, our old gal is getting up much easier and seems to have more energy! The generic ones that I bought for 1/3 of the price are not being as well received so we will be ordering this brand again! Thanks for making our Marly into a comfy pup again!

My vet gave me some great advice on choosing the right kind of joint supplement for my then 6year old lab, Phoebe. Phoebe wasn't in pain, but I noticed she was slowing down during play time. My vet told me to do my research on which joint supplement to buy and don't just buy the most expensive one assuming it's the best. Well, I did my research and this one seemed to have all the right reviews, that I decided to purchase it. Within a week, I noticed a difference. Phoebe was back to her youthful self. She was jumping high to catch her frisbee, able to take longer walks, and wanted to play ball for longer times. Phoebe has even gone back to her old ways of out-running me when she is misbehaving. This use to infuriate me but to be honest, I was a little happy this time that she was too fast for me to catch her. Phoebe is almost 8 and she is still very active. This is a great joint supplement and I highly recommend it. I should note that this supplement needs to be given every day, not just once in a while as it will not work. I once ran out and decided not to purchase anymore as I didn't think phoebe needed it anymore but within a couple of weeks, I saw her slowing down again. I quickly purchased more and she's back to normal. Also, unlike her monthly flea pill, Phoebe LOVES to take this supplement! It's like a treat to her.

Duke is his old self again, happy, and active!
I have a Sussex Spaniel/Chocolate Lab mix, named Duke. He is the seeetest dog who ever lived and who ever will live (although admittedly, I am biased). He just turned twelve this year, and I have been afraid he may develop the notorious Lab hip problems, so I have always kept a close eye on him. About 3 months ago, Duke started having problems with stairs. When we would go upstairs to bed, Duke would pace back and forth, hesitate at the bottom of the steps and whine before finally coming up the stairs; he was in pain. It broke my heart. Some nights he stayed downstairs, and I know he didn't like being away from us. He also started sleeping on the bathroom tile during the day, I think the cold felt good on his sore joints. After about a month of this behavior, I realized it was not just a pulled myscle or something temporary, so I started researching supplements. Enter this product. The directions say to give the dog 2 pills a day for the first months, and then go down to 1 pill a day after that as a maintenance dose. That means this one bottle will last Duke 4 months, which is very convenient for us and our wallets (although I would gladly spend any amount of money to make my Big Brown Boy feel better). It has been 3 and a half weeks since starting this supplement. Duke is a whole new dog. He is active, jumping up and down, and even westling with Chunk, his 5 year-old Yorkipoo brother. I can actually see it in Duke's face that he feels better. He is happier. He has a sparkle in his eye that you usually see in much younger dogs. My Big Brown Boy has become my Big Brown Bouncing Boy, and I am so happy that he is probanly going to be feeling better a lot further into old age than I previously thought possible, all because of this supplement that has absolutely changed his (and our) lives. Now, Duke goes up the stairs for bed with ease, and we are confident that his golden years will have a much better quality of life.

Extended life and joy for both our dogs.
I have two dogs that have arthritis and this product has been a life saver for them. They were both injured while puppies and one has it in the left rear knee and the other in the front left wrist. It has made all the difference to give them an active life. Before I started using Nutramax Cosequin it didn't take a lot of play and the dogs would come up lame so we had to be very careful how much we let them run, how we spaced exercise, and still they would limp for days after wards. When we started using the product with our older dog (now 11 years old) about two years ago we noticed after about a month that she was able to play longer and harder with fewer bouts of limping and pain after wards. She was able to go on long walks with out any problem and started loosing weight that she had been packing around for 5 years. Just because she was now able to get some exercise she went from 69 lbs. to 57 lbs. in about 6 months. She has maintained that weight for the last 4.5 years. We rescued our second dog abut six months ago. She is a Labrador, Rough Collie, mix and weighed 92 pounds when we got her. Because of her weight and arthritic left wrist she couldn't walk more than a half a block and she would be limping and sometimes unable to put any weight on here left front foot. We put her on the Cosequin and a good diet right away. Now she has lost 13 lbs. and is able to get out and play with the other dogs. Her walks are up to a mile at a time and probably could go more but we just don't want to push it until she looses a few more pounds. She has about 18 more to go to be at ideal weight. This product has without a doubt given not just more years, but quality years to our dogs.

These treats work!
I was skeptical at first. It took a little while, but these are definitely working. My 12 yr old lab can no longer jump up on the couch, but that is a pretty high jump. The hard part was that he was having difficulty getting up the 3 steps from the yard. He would whine and look so sad - heartbreaking. He has regained his confidence, and that truly brings joy to me. I never thought I would be so happy to see something that seemed so mundane. I took out the bed rails and headboard so that it would sit on the floor, making it easier for him to get up there. Worked. For a while, as even that became difficult. That can be one of the saddest moments seeing your dog jump, miss, and then struggle stubbornly as he tries to claw his way up. Now I find myself doing a little cheer when I walk in and he's in the middle of the bed. To say the least, this has made me almost as happy as my dog. Oh, and he loves them. He thinks they are treats.
