Hade one needed another one so picked this little gem up, because if you use Roloc discs you need this Pad Holder.

Works as well or better than the 3M version

I purchased both this and the (very expensive) 3M version. This holder actually works BETTER with the cheap roll lock sanding discs than the expensive 3M version. I disagree with others that say the 3M version is more flexible; it is not.

Superb on aluminum flanges and sealing surfaces

Used in conjunction with a 3m-18733 Roloc Bristle Disc, this combination worked superb in removing gasket material and general sealing surface cleanup on aluminum heads, intake manifold, water pump and other aluminum components. Also appears it will last for a reasonable amount of time as I've cleaned up all the aluminum components on a Big Block GM engine.

A must have for your shop

Great for getting into the small places and prepping surface for painting on my restoration job. Also good for removing metal to make a great fit when not all parts fit as expected.

Works great

This works great for my 1/4 inch grinder. I have gone through many Roloc disks using this holder. I thought I was getting 2 but it is clear that you only get one. (2 views of it in the image) There isn't much more to say, it just works.
