This product was great when I bought it and has worked very well ever since. Definitely the perfect combination that a student needs to get all of their work done.

I have had a mac for many years, while initially refusing to buy Microsoft office and settling for its free counterparts such as iwork, openoffice, neooffice, and libreoffice. I ended up receiving this as a birthday present, and have never looked back. I love how they have incorporated web apps into the application. You can easily share files for free on Windows live SkyDrive. The use of commenting is also very helpful when reviewing your peers work. The part that I absolutely love about this is how the outline format works so well by either pressing tab or enter to indent or un-indent. Overall I would have to say that while i am most definitely not a Microsoft type of guy, using this has definitely made my life much easier. Some of the extra features can seem somewhat overwhelming, but a quick look on any search engine will prove helpful in explaining its use.

I like and have used Microsoft Office since 1992. I have always installed Microsoft Office in all my personal computers. I recently bought an iMAC. Truthfully, I'm not sure if there are Microsoft Office-type apps which came with the iMAC. However, since I am comfortable with Office, I decided to buy, install and use the application. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend the product.

Originally, I had been using Open Office for my MacBook Pro because it was free. After I updated to OSX Lion, it would no longer work. I decided to finally break down and buy Microsoft Office. It was cheaper than BestBuy and it actually has a lot of cool features. I have used Microsoft Office before, but only on my windows computers. Microsoft Office for Mac is well worth it. It has awesome features, especially for a college student. It lets you choose a layout that looks like a notebook. It also lets you record parts of lectures as you type and saves it next to those paragraphs. I should have bought it awhile ago.

I got a new MacBook Pro, and the Office for Mac I had been using on my old G4 would not work on it. The price of the new one was very reasonable. Some functions turned out to be a bit different, of course, but it was relatively easy to make any changes through preferences and other means. Happily, Office works well with Apple's new operating system. For example, swiping two fingers upward on a Word, Excel or any other page actually moves that page upward. No more fussing with scroll bars. (I have to dumb myself down when I use my husband's old PC.) Some people may be upset with the new way Find works, but it is so much better. No dialog box. Just the search word at top right. Be sure to hit the ESC key when done.

Since this was required for college I had to buy it. I prefer to use LibreOffice since it's free and has more features and is more stable than MS Office but since there are some compatibility issues with LibreOffice and MS Word I sprung for MS Office. I really had no choice. Now, I am used to using MS Office on my PC but I recently bought a Mac for college and have had no stability issues with this version for Mac. It works well every time. I've not had it crash on me once. I'm impressed.

It may have had some bugs before (which is probably why it has some low reviews) but the current version works smoothly with OS X Lion. I had no problems installing it or putting in the product code. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint all work just like they do on windows and docs/presentations/spreadsheets can be transfered to windows computers. So far I've had no problems with any of the 3 and am very pleased with my purchase. A must have for all Mac users. Do note that it comes with Word, Powerpoint and Excel. If you want Outlook you need another version that includes it or you can but this version and buy Outlook later. This version will give you the Outlook icon when you install the other 3 and if you click on it you have the option to buy Outlook.

Still the best word-processing program for me, even years later. Has stood up to thousands of documents of varying types. I hardly used the spreadsheet, presentation, or mail software, so I can't comment on these. Would have just bought the word processing part to save money, if I could.

This version of Office is one of the best. I used to do tech support for the early versions of Word and Excel (as well as other Microsoft products), and the early versions were very well documented and easy to master. Later Microsoft got very "cute" in putting tools where no one would think of looking for them. In this version of Office the tools are grouped logically and used very easily. Though not documented with 5 books as were the early versions, much of what is needed is available on the Internet.

Ordered the Microsoft Office 2011 for my new mac to have the same office programs I was so used to using on a pc. Word and X-cell were all that I needed but the program comes with Powerpoint and Outlook as well. Powerpoint is functional but Outlook requires an upgrade. W,X and P are all loaded with all the bells and whistles anyone could possibly ever need. My old files saved on my external are all useable on the mac now. I don't have any regrets purchasing this program......and it was considerably less expensive here on Amazon than buying it elsewhere !!! A big thumbs up !!
