Inexpensive when compared to what else is out there. The item is made out of plastic and easy to clean. The motor is rated at 400 watt draw and is quite noisy. I'd say a bit less than a vacuum cleaner. The inlet is oddly shaped in my opinion, its like the letter "C" and quite narrow. Stalks of celery fit easily but most carrots have to be cut lengthwise to get them into the feed. There is a plastic pusher that is used to get the veggies down to the cutting blades. Someone wrote that it can't handle a steady feed of veggies and to go slow, but I've found that it can juice pretty quickly. My primary used to juice carrots and celery for my diabetic recipes. Given the price point, ease of use and usability this item is a must have for light use. I've only had it about a month so I can't vouch for the durability of the motor or the juicer blades, but the blade cup, strainer her blades is one assembly and made out of stainless steel. When you first unpack, resist your urge to just plug it in and use it. Read the instructions and be sure to break it down and wash all the part that come in contact with the food in warm soapy water, except the motor housing of course.

a good juicer for the entire family to allow juices and the benefits of drinking this in the morning. This product is in no way inductrial and should be treated with care. That means to not overload in one time and follow the directions b/c while sturdy in assembly, you can notice some weak spots that may hinder the machine Overall 5 star!

For the price, this unit has done everything it promised. My sister purchased a slightly "better", more expensive unit, and I actually think I made the better purchase as this unit is a bit smaller, easier to store, and works just as well. I've been using this unit for about 8-9 months. I do recommend you immediately clean the screen/strainer immediately after juicing, otherwise the pulp dries and hardens and becomes almost impossible to scrub out. This makes juicing a bit more time consuming, but not a huge deal. I guess you could just throw the pieces in a tub of water to soak and scrub later if you had to. I was surprised how much juice I get the first time I run my fruits or veggies through, even so I often run the left over pulp through once more, just to try to squeeze out any extra leftover juice. It's probably a negligible amount, but it makes me feel like I'm maximizing the fruit/veggie.

WIFE LOVES THIS MACHINE. The only issue is, if you get this machine for your better half. you should expect to have juice for every meal they cook. Now that I am on a HIGH liquid Diet, I have lost a few pounds. OH YEAH, I need to mention. juicing steak did not work so well. but all the veggies and fruit works great.

We bought this low-priced juicer and it changed our whole diet. It is so easy to use and delivers such a wide variety of healthy fruit and vegetable juices that I fear we may have over-stressed the motor. Here's the best part though; we called the supplier Spectrum Home Products and they shipped us a new juicer right away, free of charge! I didn't think companies did this any more! So here's the new game plan: We will resist making more than a few glasses of juice at a time and we will respect the little motor, letting it stay cool, and we'll live healthily and happily ever after! Long live Black and Decker's Little Juicer That Could!

This was my first juicer, I read a lot of reveiws so I knew that it was not the best. But I wanted to get this one so I can ease my way into juicing - see if it's something I could really get into. And... YES! I have joined the club. For one person, this is perfect. Yes, you have to cut everything into smaller pieces as opposed to putting in a whole apple down the chute in a high quality juicer. If you wash everything right after you use it, everything washes away and it's an easy clean up. Basically, look at the price. It does it's job. If the lower quality affects you then shell out the money for a "good" juicer.

I did a juice cleanse for 14 days and now do juices as my breakfast. All this time this little guy has worked like a champ! Easy to clean up and not that laud. The price was great and for what I needed it for it was a steal! I've had it for 2 months now and it's still going strong! The size is just perfect, doesn't take yo much room.

Love love love my juicy friend! I'm a huge fan of carrot, sweet potato and salary juice with a dash of cinnamon / nutmeg and you can't seem to find it anywhere..... At least anywhere that only uses THOSE ingredients. I pretty much run everything through this with very little issues. I use a lot of garlic and I hate going through the process of crushing my garlic and I don't like buying crushed garlic the store. So, I run several bags of garlic through this and take both the juice and pulp and put it into a mason jar, add a little bit of salt (for preservation) and you have macerated garlic with it's juice ready to use when you need it. If you know how to vacuum seal your mason jar (a small hole in the lid, piece of tape over it and a handheld vacuum sealer) you can extend the life even further. With that in mind, I get wicked cramps and have always used ginger root to resolve the issue. I run all my ginger root through this, store all the juice in a mason jar and I use or add to my fresh juice as needed. Pineapple, orange and ginger juice is delicious! You do have to be a bit careful and pay attention to not just the collection container but, the hood as it can get packed and not dump pulp into the collection container - just give it some firm taps to drop the pulp into the container. This tends to be a particular problem with drier veggies such as carrot and sweet potato. Also, "juicy" fruits can be a bit of a problem as well. I ran watermelon through this and while it was DELICIOUS, it also ran through to fast and flooded the collection container. It's best to just blend and then strain juicier type fruits. I got away with pineapple but, the watermelon was to much. Clean up is pretty simple and it does an awesome job of sorting pulp from juice though, I still run my juice through a strainer to clear out pulp further - I don't care much for the gritty super fine texture that I get at the bottom of a glass.

This is the coolest kitchen tool I have ever owned! Ease of use | 5 stars: This juicer is really easy to set up, use, and figure out. I did not need the instructions to get started with it. I usually get somewhat confused with kitchen appliances, so this is a huge statement coming from me! Quality | 5 stars: This is superb quality. Black decker is a pretty great company, and the quality of this product reflects that. Every physical attribute to this machine is well made! Juicer | 5 stars: The juicer is really a juicer! It makes liquid out of fruits and vegetables. I have tried to make various fruits and vegetable juices from this and it is really awesome. Leftovers | 5 stars: It has a little compartment that it puts the leftovers of your food in. I don't know what others do, but they taste really good!

I decided that I wanted to start trying to juice foods! I was able to find this juicer for a great price and decided to give it a go. It was easy to clean before it's first use and does a great job! A problem that I have is that sometimes the device needs to be tilted a little bit to get all of the juice out (particularly spinach for me!) and it can be a little difficult to figure out how to take it apart (but once you figure it out it is easy). It has done a great job so far and has been able to juice anything that I have used. If you have trouble cleaning the blade and strainer try using a dish scrub brush!
