12 y/o Labrador moving again
I'm not going to lie, I only bought this because my neighbor twisted my arm for so long about it. Heres our backstory: I have a 12 y/o yellow lab with arthritis and hip dysplasia, not to mention half of his life he was overweight. I got his weight down when I got him but he always had a slight limp from being kicked by a horse as a puppy. He's been on an aspirin regiment, he'd had steroids, essential oils, creams, etc. for his hips/joints and cosequin stopped working after a while. Now this last year he's only gotten up to go to the bathroom and when I went on walks so his muscles have deteriorated significantly and I have to pull him up most of the time. Fast forward to him being on the small/medium dog dose for a couple of days ( its expensive and I couldn't afford the large dog bag at the time since only the 150 ct. was in stock) and he's up and walking around, most of the time he's able to get up by himself as long as it's a grip able surface, and he's got a bit of his old vigor back. I hadn't seen him play with a toy in 2-3 years and he has again. This stuff is completely worth every penny to improve his quality of life for a while longer.

Unbelievably quick and positive impact to our Boxer's arthritis & displasia
Unbelievable. Our 7 year old slobbering hot mess of a boxer has blown ACL's (and TPLO surgery), hip displasia and arthritis. He was in good spirits (being a boxer that is a given) but was clearly in a lot of pain - watching him struggle up stairs and wince when sitting was absolutely heartbreaking. The surgical options offered were hip replacement and another TPLO - which was a high risk, high cost and tremendous negative impact on his quality of life. Heartbreaking. We had tried Dasuquin earlier (first blown ACL) with not results, and out of desperation tried it again. * FRIGGING MAGIC * Creaky hot mess got his puppy wiggles back. Yes, he still has the underlying physical issues, but he is moving MUCH more easily, demonstrates minimal distress (unless he's done something stupid like tear off after a deer), and is much more mobile and obviously happier. The morning & night dasoquin is a ritual that he absolutely loves and looks forwards to, and it literally took less than a week for the first signs of improvement to show. We are generally skeptics of "nutritional supplement" claims, but anecdotally we can strongly correlate our Boxer's dramatic improvement with starting Dasoquin. Initially the $80 a bag was a larger "wild bet" than we wanted to make (hint - Dasoquin - sell $20 'evaluation bags'), but in hindsight the cost is absolutely negligible compared to the positive impact on our dog's quality of life. Your pet's mileage may certainly vary, but we wanted to share this one dramatic anecdote of Dasoquin really helping the hairiest member of our family. Five well deserved stars.

The surgeon and Teddy's Vet recommended a switch to Dasuguin with MSN rather than Cosequin ...
Our 100 pound Golden Retriever has had surgeries on both knees. Now, we confront osteoarthritis. The surgeon and Teddy's Vet recommended a switch to Dasuguin with MSN rather than Cosequin for Teddy's joints. Our eight year old is acting like he is four! Teddy springs into the air on his hind legs to jump up on my bed. Note, Teddy is now on Tramadol, a human drug. Tramadol retails at $217 per month. Banfield/Petsmart sells it for about $135 on their wellness plan. With his own Rewards prescription card at Walgreens the price drops to $99. Using a coupon that came with the grocery flyers the cost is now $79 per month. As both Dasuquin and Tramadol are a result of surgery, so Teddy's HEALTHY PAWS INSURANCE covers 80%. We only pay $16 per month. We strongly support the Banfield Wellness plan at $32/month which includes one tooth cleaning per year, (Normally costing $275). Evidently, half of all dogs die from a problem in their mouth. If it had not been for Healthy Paws insurance, ($30/month excluding pre-existing conditions), we may have been considering putting Teddy to sleep. The day we learned Teddy would need his first surgery, the Vet could not get him onto the X-Ray table. I had to help. I found myself looking into Teddy's eyes as I said, "It's ok." I never want to again see the fear I saw in Teddy's eyes that day. We believe that loving a dog or cat is giving them the same health coverage we would give to a human child.

Amazing results!
Both of my Boston Terriers take this supplement with great success in improved mobility. One of my Boston's is 10 years old and when I first noticed stiffness when she walked I started her on Dasuquin via my vet recommendation. The Improvement was noticeable within the first week, she moved with out any signs of joint stiffness. My other Boston had knee surgery at 6 years old and has been on Dasuquin through out recovery and continued as a daily supplement, it has been 2 years since her surgery and she remains active happy and no signs of discomfort or joint issues. Our Vet checks them twice a year for overall health and has been impressed with their recovery & performance. I add their supplement to their home made dog food once a day, not sure if they would eat it on its own but mixed with their food they eat it every time. I have recommended this product to friends and family of older dogs and always I have heard back that they saw great improvement. I would think that this product would benifit young and old dogs as a preventative and for current issues. I think the price is extremely reasonable for the benifits it gives. Nothing better than Having Happy Healthy fur family members!

Great product for the older dog!!
Our Veterinarian is awesome about product evaluation--she chooses the best, not the most expensive. That being said, our dog is 10 years old and was have rear leg stiffness. The doctor checked her out and thought it might possibly be an ACL tear (yikes!). It was not a tear. The Vet placed her on dog Motrin and suggested the use of Nutramax Dasuquin Chews with MSM. The cost at the office was $69 and she wanted our dog to take a loading dose of 2 in the morning and 2 at night for 30 days then go down to 1 in the morning and 1 at night. She also told us that the product was less expensive on Amazon, which it was/is! We noticed after two weeks of just the Dasuquin that she was moving like her old self and back to going for walks (her favorite activity!). We had run out and went a week or two before reordering--she started limping again--next day order! We do not miss orders anymore and, in fact, we are putting this on auto-ship monthly. She also loves the chews as a treat. Win/win and a no brainer to keep our dog pain free. Dog Motrin is similar to human Motrin--lower dose, but similar side effects--we didn't want our dog on it but for a few days. She is active, when it suits her, with no stiffness. Great product!

Happy lab - happy momma!
Our vet recommended these for our 12 yr old chocolate lab. The added ingredient MSM is something that the vets have been using as an injection for years and he was so glad to tell us about this product. It has made a huge difference and our old boy can lay down and get up much easier. He loves them and eats them right up (I call them a treat and he comes running!). They are not that expensive when you consider that they last almost 3 months. He was on pain medication also, which we have now stopped, and he is doing great. I am going to keep ordering these!

Fountain of youth in a bag!
I was pretty impressed with this product. My dog injured his spine years ago, and he started to show symptoms now that he is becoming older. The vet recommended MSM. He mentioned he gave his own dog Dasuquin, so when I found Dasuquin with MSM, I went for it. It took about 10 days giving him 2 a day, but he's acting 5 years younger. I did read the post about them becoming dry, so I was careful to close the bag really well. I'm near the end of the first bag and although they are starting to dry out some, he still loves them and thinks they are a treat. I may go for two smaller bags next time to make sure I don't have issues with them drying out.

Absolutely the very best you can Buy! Don't waste your money on their competitors or other like products ever!!!.
I started using this product completely by accident after a suggestion from a veterinarian I had brought my dog to for a paw injury. I mentioned she was getting older and a little stiff and it was bothering me and probably my dog a whole lot more than me. There are competitive products and I tried one or two since originally getting this and there is no comparison. Within a week or less I saw a dramatic Improvement in my Patti girlies energy and movement. She's older and I am seeing her do things and reach places without the hardship and effort she had prior. Since I purchased this and after exploring another option or two I have to say forget about everything else buy this. The other thing that might be important to mention for people who have dogs that have special needs such as my girl. I have to be careful with her as she is on prescription food and prone to kidney stones, let me tell you every other product has a kidney stone warning somewhere hidden in the labeling or there was a warning about them but this particular product does not. It's hard for me to find things for her and this was the happiest accident ever. No side effects or stomach distress and certainly not a worry about any future kidney stones. Give it a try and you may see a difference in your dog's Mobility and Agility within days or certainly no later than a week or two. It's really important for those of us who consider our dog or other petsin our family's to know of products such as this one which does not cause any harm and it genuinely only helps and 2 just see an older cat or in my case a dog seem to act like she did when she was much younger, was and is just as amazing and heartwarming. I won't mention the name of their largest competitor but I did try them out and I saw no improvement. I saved a few dollars but it wasn't worth it Please go with this you won't regret it and neither will your fur babies young or old if they're showing any signs of arthritic conditions or Mobility problems. This Dasuquin MSM will be with us 4 a lifetime. It's an amazing product with no side effects to date. Trust me if there was going to be something that would impact or make my Patti girl sick I would certainly know it by now and nothing of the kind is happening. Therefore if you have an older dog like a senior don't worry this is the product you want to have just to see what appears to be like evolution in reverse as far as your older dog behaving much more puppyish pretty darn quick. Total breakthrough in a natural supplement as opposed to giving your four-legged family member medications for the obvious signs of Aging and arthritis or general stiffness which could happen in larger dogs even at younger stages of their life.

Where did my dog go?
Our 5 yr old Schipperke mix, Spock, has luxating patellas in his rear legs. We've tried several different products, as he is a rather picky pooch and after a few weeks will pick around the glucosamine--even if we mix in wet food. The tablets are a pain to crush up every single morning. It's been two months now and he is still gobbling it down with his breakfast. What a difference! Spock bounces around the house, wanting longer and longer walks and more time chasing his favorite toys. Now we can barely keep up! This is the only product I will be recommending for dogs with similar issues in the future.

Amazing!
These are a game changer if you think your dog could have any joint inflammation. As a professional dog trainer, I have seen multiple clients (& my own dog) benefit greatly from taking these chews. Several clients noticed within a couple of weeks a positive behavioral shift in their dogs, as their dog was merely uncomfortable prior to starting the supplement. Personally, I noticed my dog (75lbs 7years old) starting to slow down on hikes becoming easily distracted and less focused , but after 2 weeks on the Dasaquin, he was returning to his normal energetic self & responding to commands rapidly again. I also noticed he was less agitated with other dogs when meeting them on trail. These are a staple for my boy!
