I feel like I might be the minority here, but all of my batteries work fine!
I don't know what to say. It seems like it could be hit or miss depending on who you get it from? All of my batteries worked perfectly fine on arrival! I changed out my dead batteries in my scale and these are functioning perfectly and have been for about a month of use now! I hope you don't let the "top" reviews deter you, because I got my batteries in a timely fashion and none of them were bad.

why pay more at the dealership?
When my key batteries ran out at the same time, I ordered this pack of batteries. The dealership charges $8 per replacement, so it just didn't make sense to pay that when I could do it myself. I looked up a video on how to take apart my key, and these replacements were easy to pop right in. Now, I have 3 new batteries waiting for next time.

Going strong after 7 months of usage
Bought these to replace the batteries in my car key. Put the replacement in in June 2016, and now 7 months later, it's still going strong. I have nothing to complain about, these batteries are functioning exactly how they should. Since I know there can be a huge difference in quality of the same brand between vendors, the one I ordered from was: MYBATTERYSUPPLIER. Update 3/8/2017: At this point, I've used 4 of the 5 in this pack and all 4 have worked well (no duds). I'm extremely happy both with this brand and this vendor. Please consider leaving me feedback below if you found this review helpful.

EXPIRATION DATE
OK, here's the deal re: EXPIRATION DATE On THIS pkg there is no exp date per se. I went to Target as one reviewer suggested and saw a two pack for twice the money as this 5 pack. I looked it over and saw an expiration date of 6/2023 on the front of the package with a pkg/mfg date of 2014. The batteries themselves have no marking re exp date, but both were mfg in Indonesia for Energizer and both look exactly the same. On the back of THIS package, where you might expect to SEE an expiration date can clearly be seen the letters, "J U". The pkg/mfg date of Target's was 2014 and the pkg/mfg date of THIS pkg is 2012. If J and U are interpreted as J being the number 10 and U being the number 21, then it makes sense for the exp date to be Oct 2021 in light of the 2014 pkg/mfg date and 6/2023 exp date of the Target batteries. The logic is too good to pass up. SO, if I am right, then I have SIX years of shelf life for the remaining four. OK, I'M IN......ESPECIALLY AT THE PRICE ! I have tested a 'new' one against the one I took out of my digital bathroom scale on my trusted Radio Shack tester. No contest. Bathroom scale working perfect again.......well at least it's showing me what I want to see. If you want to know more about lithium battery, wiki "lithium battery".

Cells have worked fine
The value is unusually good compared to the prices I've seen on the CR 2032s in even the cheapest stores. The 5 per pack is odd, considering every devise to use these, that I've seen, require 2 cells each. So 5 in a pack will leave one left over. So far, the cells I've used have worked just fine. I read complaints about a cell being unpacked and discovered to be dead, but I've not experienced that for myself yet. The price, incl. shipping, was what sold me to try them. I use them in bicycle lights, and they've worked fine. I'm actually looking for more bicycle lights that run on this CR 2032 type of battery cell, so I will have the excuse to order more of these packs.

Fresh batteries.
These seem to be genuine Energizer batteries, and they have worked much better than the generic 2032's I've purchased in the past. The generic batteries I've been using only lasted a month in my Thermapen thermometer with light use, but these have been going strong through several months of grilling. They don't have an expiration date printed on them, but there is a two-letter date code on the packaging. I contacted Energizer to find out what the date code meant, and they said it indicated a manufacturing date that was only 4 month before they arrived at my door from "West Distribution". I haven’t had any problems with these batteries leaking, corroding, or otherwise failing. They all have a uniformly shiny finish, and look high quality. It’s hard to test button cell batteries, as without any load on them, a voltage meter will almost always read over three volts. With a 15K ohm load, these batteries read 3.0V, which agrees with Energizer’s product datasheet. I also tested one under a heavier load by shorting it with a 100 ohm resistor for two seconds as shown on the datasheet, and the voltage drop was exactly as predicted (starting at 3.25V, going down to 2.8V during the pulse, and recovering to about 3.15V).

They're batteries... they work.
I bought these for my scale after it died on me and I didn't want to pay the high prices of buying it in a store. My scale it working again with them, so they do work as intended, I just hope they last as long as the last batteries did!

Energizer batteries, delivered
I didn't even know that there were batteries in this size until the remote for my projector went dead. I guess I always assumed it was an AAA, till I opened the back panel. Since I had never noticed these at the stores I frequent, I didn't want to drive around looking for these, so Amazon to the rescue. Now I think I have enough of these things to last longer than the projector.

I got what I ordered.
I ordered these before I read the reviews. I see a range of opinions. Some complained they were not Energizer. The ones I received were labeled as Energizer. Some complained they were made in China. These were made in China for Energizer. If I bought the battery at Walmart it probably would have been made in China too. Some complained their batteries didn't work. The ones I received did work. Well, I only needed to use one immediately. Since it worked the others probably will work too. One person complaining their batteries didn't work said the package was copyright 2006. My package was labeled copyright 2012. The bottom line is that this was exactly what I wanted. I wanted inexpensive batteries that worked for my application. That's what I got.

Savings vs. Function lesson learned
I'll be the first to admit you can find batteries everywhere and probably get 100 for the price of these. Although. I'd also be the first to admit that I really didn't believe you get what you pay for too. I had a couple tire gauges that used the CR2032 batteries and put new, metered checked, batteries in them and thought the guages were faulty. The RMA and cost to send back the tire gauges under warranty were about what I could buy them new for and was infuriated. So I bought a new tire gauge and put the batteries into the old tire gauge and it worked flawlessly. What the? So out of curiosity I bought a pack of these to try and sure enough, the two gauges I was going to warranty return worked fine. Wow! Life lesson learned, sort of.... For those fake votive candles, they will still get the cheapo CR2032 batteries as they would work at half the power. Important devices will get spoiled.
