Very Good tool to have
I found this tool extremely easy to use when testing for electrical spark at several points of my ignition system and I most definitely would recomend it any electrician or DYI person.

For many years I have wanted one of these, now I have four. On my engines, with them running, I can see if I have spark going to the spark plug/s and see if it is consistent. On 2 and 4 cylinder engines they are especially great in a visual comparison of the spark between the cylinders. I am very pleased with these spark testers.

Great tool for anyone.
Having idle/misfire problems with son's 1990 Mazda. Threw the usual parts at it, plugs, wires, distributor, coil, fuel filter. Still having problems. Listened to injectors (fine), checked MAF sensor, replaced O2 sensor, still problems. Bought this, hooked up to a good car, the light flickers low along with the spark. Hooked it up to mazda, it does the same, but seems to miss some flickers, and also flickers relatively BRIGHTLY (relatively - best viewed in the dark) now and then, all cylinders. So it was spark all along! I traced it back to a bad condenser. Runs great now! I wish I had this tool at the beginning. It would have saved me a lot of effort. Now I know, and so do you. And yes, I wil work on "coil on plug", or whatever you have, as long as it has a spark plug, you are good to go.

Excellent results so far...
Bought this Ignition Spark Tester to assist when repairing small engines. Has worked really great so far and i don't have to go into a dark corner of the workshop to test for spark. Useful tool that's really worth the money.

I would recommend this product to friends and family.
Fast delivery.... troubleshooting electrical problems is tedious enough without having to hold test lights or volt meters in place, try ignition, 4 hands work when you only have 2. This is a stress relieving tool to have when troubleshooting a no spark scenario and at that price it an affordable tool to buy. You'll be glad its in your tool collection if you ever need it.

Good, solid tester...
Nice tool that I've used a number of times already. Checking for spark can be a hassle and even painful. This tester checks for spark quickly and easily without pulling a plug or using the old screwdriver method, which I don't recommend, for many reasons...

Love it
I just love this little tool can't be beat for the price it says if ignition is being sent to the cylinder, light in tester glows Testing while the motor is running unplug wire from the distributor cap hock up the tester place the end in the cap where you unplugged the wire start the motor if it jumps out hold on the rubber end keeping hands away from the sparking end watch the light it will glow a bright color if the one you are testing is real dim then something is wrong and you need to run more test each plug will the light needs to be real bright light and not skip as you rib up the motor not to dim and then bright don't for get to test the coil as well hope this helps

5 star, but then realized I didn't need it. Have a timing light I could just hook onto each wire that would show me the same thing without having to remove the wire from plug. Which isn't a big deal except some are very hard to get to.

No more guessing
Its quick and easy to see if you have spark, with this. Just plug the end to the plug and the plug wire to it and crank it over. I use it all the time when working on mower engines. I recommend this to anyone who does engine repairs
