These clippers are very quiet, light and small. I use it mainly for my horse's bridle path and ears. It cuts the coarse hair very well and small and light enough to maneuver around his ears, and so quiet that it doesn't bother him. Great product for such a low price.

My 3yo wanted a show pig, so we got him one. I has been 17 years since I showed so I have no equipment left. I looked around for a decent set of clippers that would not cost $200 and these fit the bill. Easy to use, easy to clean, able to run 45 minutes while I gave the pig a haircut for her first show. The standard wahl guards fit and are sturdy. I am very satisfied with this purchase and how well they worked on course hog hair.

Wonderful clippers, I have heavy double coated dogs that needed grooming. These clippers cut through the matte without any problem. Not really noisy and did not get hot. Highly recommend these clippers

I absolutely love these clippers. I do minimal clipping (bridle path, face, fetlocks and the extra hair around the hooves), but they haven't quit on me and the blade has been solid. I clean the hair off with alcohol and oil my clippers once in a while when they really need it. Easy to use and highly recommend. If for some reason my clippers ever broke or I needed to replace them I would totally get another set. I also might add that I have a horse with a very, very thick bridle path and these are tough enough to get through it. His fetlock hair is pretty thick too.

Fantastic product for dogs with long, thick hair. I bought this to use on my two Newfoundland dogs after burning out a dog trimmer. I was skeptical given the low price, but encouraged by the positive reviews. Glad I took the chance! It went through my Newfies' matts like butter. The blade did not heat up, and was still working great at the end. UPDATE: I've misplaced the clippers I bought in 2015, so I've just ordered another pair, no need to look further, they are essential for clipping the thick double coat of my Newfoundland.

I really needed to buy body clippers, but didn’t want to break the bank. After reading all the reviews, I settled on this pair and OMG- they were amazing!! The metal part of the clippers DID NOT GET HOT!! I will say that the plastic portion that you hold started to get hot though, so I opted to take a 20 min break halfway through the body clip, but I absolutely LOVE these clippers!!

Knowing full well this clipper is not for body clipping, I figured at the price point I could give it a shot on our mini mare when I realized my Oster A5 had completely died. Very pleased with the result! I made a few mistakes while clipping, causing the clip job to take a while and the clippers to heat up, so I quit today before I could go back and even her out, but I still think this little clipper did great! It powered through her bridle path and legs like a champ. Her belly is the worst: she has a very fine, almost rabbit-soft coat and likes to roll in mud puddles, which results in filthy mats (no matter how much we groom). Clipper handled that mess just fine. If you’re on the fence, you really can’t go wrong buying this clipper.

I used these to shave the mats off of my friend's cat; saved the poor creature the awful stress of going to the vet to have it done. She wasn't cooperative, but I wrapped her up in a towel so she couldn't claw me near to death. Mats are nasty things that lead to all sorts of health problems, not to mention pain for the animal, so it's great to have an easy and effective tool to deal with them.

These work better than I expected. I have one horse that I've never been able to trim because he freaks out as soon as you turn on the clippers. This clipper is much quieter than others I have tried and after spending about 15 minutes calmly desensitizing him by kind of massaging him with the back side of the clippers I was finally able to trim his feet, legs, and even a bridle path. I still use my big, noisy clippers on the other horses, but save these new clippers for my scaredy-cat horse.

Now my wife can trim her horses to her hearts desire. And I get a little more time to myself haha! Works great, highly recommend. I prefer these over the battery powered, they never seem to hold up very long.
