I live on the San Francisco Peninsula and get several species of bird visiting my feeder: oak titmouse, chestnut-backed chickadee, dark eyed junco, American robin, and another I haven't identified yet. These birds love this bird seed. They eat it from the feeder, from the catch net, and from the floor. It seems that they eat all of the different kinds of seeds in the mix as I don't see any discarded. Despite the fact that there is lots of spilled seed around the feeder, it has not attracted any rodents or other pests. The birds visit the feeder from the moment there's light in the sky until the last moments of light in the evening. I've only had the feeder since September, but the birds go through about a liter of bird seed every 5-6 days. This means I have to purchase a new 8-pound bag every other month or so. As the cold part of the year approaches, I am supplementing the bird seed with a suet feeder. This suet cake seems to be somewhat appealing to the birds: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0045IVON0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The birds seem happy and healthy. Overall, this is great bird seed for my area. I'll certainly be buying more.

I love all of the varieties of Wagner's bird food. I get this product occasionally for "treats" for the wild birds. Im in Southeastern Ohio and use the blue bag of Wagner's bird food and it attracts every bird possible. I go thru 2 20lb bags of bird food every month. I feed them year round.

Order this from Amazon when I can't find this anywhere close. My backyard feathered friends favorite mix. They are Western birds so they should!

"Holy Cow! 8 pounds of bird seed? That will take forever to go through!" I said to myself. I emptied the entire bag within two weeks. Birds were showing up that I didn't even know existed in my neighborhood: tiny birds with red on them, tiny birds without red, those bigger light brown birds, the black birds with a pointier head, a bright yellow and black bird, 3 pairs of doves....sometimes all of these showing up at once. I guess I should have bought the 20-pound bag. (in the Socal suburbs)

I don't know if it is just coincidence or not, but, my birds had all but disappeared. Mostly the cardinals, blue birds, etc. With in a half day of putting this seed out for them, they were back and more. Seems like it really does attract them and they clean the feeders out almost too quickly, if you know what I mean. $$ As an after thought, I live in League City, TX between Galveston and Houston.

Finally found seed that the backyard birds don't pick through. I bought seed that they didn't like so a lot was wasted. I live in the San Francisco Bay area & this seed is perfect for west coast birds they eat all of it.

I started feeding the birds in my backyard to keep them away from the plants. I wasn't really looking to attract new birds to the yard, just feed the ones I have here in Spokane, WA. They absolutely love this stuff. I tried a different blend they just picked through, and I also feed them bread frequently. Their singing is actually different when I get this for them. They still fling seed everywhere, but they are definitely letting me know this is the stuff they prefer.

I've been a Wagner's bird seed customer for some time. This bird seed continues to make our backyard here in San Diego the local attraction for wild birds. Great product and very well packaged.

I live in Florida even though it says Western blend the birds in my area still crazy over this mix. Ask her about a month all the birds in the neighborhood stop by the feeder during the day so much so that I can hardly keep up refilling the feeder.

We are seeing so many different kinds of birds now when we used to see mostly magpies and jays. Now there are some interesting birds and many more small birds too. Very good Wagner's Western Regional Blend. We just received our 2nd 20 lb bag of this great birdseed and are very happy with it and so are the birds!
