Item does become hot when used, I used this for a dresden plate pillow. My points came out nice. One thing I did not know before ordering that it comes with directions. I think overall it will become one of those useful tools that you are glad you have when you need them. Not something you would use everyday, but a great tool that will help get perfect points.

Good quality makes perfect points. Only comment is it gets very hot from iron if you are not careful.

Quilt tool

I got this after I had tried to do a quilt that has prairie points and believe it would have been so much better to have been able to use this wonderful device. Have not yet used it but cannot wait to do so! Great video online as to how to use it too!
