Suncast makes ridiculously good resin deck boxes. I have three now and they hold a various amount of supplies and tools and keeps them dry and accessible. Easy and feels safe to sit on near the grill. Keeps looking good day in and day out being in the scorching Florida heat and taking a beating from the sun. our cats are absolutely in love with them too. makes a good raised box to lay on and sunbathe for them.

I have had this deck box for about 10 days now. I am very pleased with the size, color and material it's made of. I am able to fit 6 cushions and 4 pillows with no problem. It has rained a couple times since it's been on my deck and everything inside has stayed dry. Very pleased!

Perfect for my backyard , to put the cushions away . And the pool towels . Perfect size 70 gallons and the best part was a easy assemble for my husband . And hard material

I'm writing this in December 2018 and bought it back in 2014. I was recommending a deck box to a friend and looked up the one we bought on Amazon. I couldn't believe it was 4 years ago! I figured I've got to write a review because it's been a fantastic item and is as good as new 4 years later. The deck box came with all the necessary parts and pieces and easy to follow instructions. It was like a snap-together toy for adults and putting it together was straightforward and satisfying (you feel like you "built" something while all you did was an adult-sized snap-together project LOL!). The quality of this deck box is superb. It has held up to North-East coastal weather extremes - snow, sleet, ice and rain in the winter and heat, sun and humidity in the summer (we're a little over a mile off the coast). It sits outdoors on a porch and keeps everything inside it nice and dry. Our deck box gets a lot of use, is opened and closed daily and has held up really well. It has these sturdy plastic strips inside the lid that keeps the lid from opening too far and falling backwards. They serve a great function and have held up nicely as well. The basket weave pattern is pleasant and classy. It does not look cheap at all, which it easily could have. The brown color (they call it "mocha") is a dark brown color that goes well with a brick and concrete porch. It looks and functions exactly as it did the day we put it together which is simply fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone considering a deck box.

Perfect for what we needed, eg outdoors pool chemical and accessories storage. Note that it didn't start out that way as the first one I received came without instructions, and missing key parts. After a visit with Amazon, and explaining that to take it apart and return would destroy the box, and take my (more valuable) time, Amazon's excellent customer service sent a new one....I was just after the hinges. Anyway, new box arrived complete with the missing bag of parts AND the assembly instructions. Yea! So my potential Suncast product review went from 'one star' to the big five. Anyway, snaps together snugly and is pretty much rain proof. Just what we needed.

I only received this yesterday, but as of this moment, I'm very happy with this box. It was incredibly easy to put together. Most of the pieces just snap together, but it still seems to be pretty sturdy and I think it will hold up. I originally thought I would put it at the side of my house, but it looks so nice I don't think I want it sitting in the desert sun all day, so it's on my covered patio. It's also much larger than I expected. I struggled over which size to buy, thinking I might need the 99 gallon, but this one is perfect.

We love this outdoor chest! My husband uses it to store and easily access all of our pool maintenance equipment. There is plenty of space for him to even store the chemicals that we need to balance the pool. Another bonus is that this is about 20-40 dollars cheaper on Amazon than it is at the big-box stores. Seriously a must-have for outdoor storage!

There's cheap, then there's inexpensive. After you cut the box open and look at the product, you think cheap. Grab the directions (follow the directions) and in half an hour you're done. You end up with a totally practical storage device that would compliment any redneck's space. Looks GREAT on my newly built deck. It's pre-fabricated polymer, no painting, staining or maintenance required. Ample storage space for my intended purpose and built well enough for me to plop my 200+ pound frame down on with confidence. We'll call this one inexpensive, a rarity in these times. In the future, this "Suncast" outfit will be on my radar as a smart choice..

This is durable and a great size for all my patio stuff! Amazon offers expert assembly for an additional $106.19 - more than the thing itself costs, even if you have to pay for shipping. It came in 6 large pieces with only 3 screws- seriously do not waste over $100 on expert assembly! I did it myself in half an hour!

I read some mixed reviews on this item, but I am very happy I bought it. I needed something for pool hoses, cleaners, etc. When I received it put it together without anyone's help. Pretty easy. Instructions were easy to follow and the parts that snapped together are snug as a bug. All parts fit well together and I was not missing any parts. This deck box is very sturdy and has not leaked with all the rain we have had as of late. I am not storing cushions in mine, but you could if you wanted to. My husband and I have priced deck boxes for a few years. I wanted onelarge enough to house lots of pool supplies, one that was attractive yet sturdy, and one with a price that wouldn't break the bank. I got all that and more with this box. I have read that some people have let others use it as a place to sit. While I am not doing that, I do feel it would support probably up to 150 or 160 poundswithout a problem. But, if I allow some people to sit on it then I open that option up to others who may weigh more and might then break it. So, at my house, no one is permitted to sit on it! If you are looking for a large deck box, I truly think you would be happy with this particular box.
