  • A step above the original Pinnacle orthotics, you won't believe the amazing support you'll get with these!

I have worn custom orthotic inserts for over 20 years, following cases of plantar fasciitis in both heels that almost necessitated surgery. The various inserts I've owned were always custom-made by the podiatrist and cost hundreds of dollars per pair. After reading the reviews for the Powerstep orthotics, I ordered them as an experiment to see how they would feel vs the custom-made ones. I was honestly astonished. They are much more comfortable than the custom ones costing at least 10 times as much as the Powersteps. The entire length of the insole is well-padded, providing a stable and exceedingly comfortable walking experience from the heel all the way through the instep area. These are an excellent value and well worth purchasing if you have any of the foot conditions that normally can be relieved by the use of orthotic inserts. This is the third pair of Powerstep orthotic inserts that I've purchased in the last week. I am a fairly severe over-pronator, so I'm trying the Pinnacle Maxx insert to see if it helps with the pronation due to its slight canting vs the regular Powerstep Pinnacle insert.

I've had a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis for almost a year and have tried several brands of orthotics, including three from Powerstep, one from Spenco, one from Heel That Pain -- well, you get the picture. The Powerstep inserts are definitely the best for me in terms of arch support and comfort, and the Pinnacle Maxx inserts make a MAJOR positive difference in my comfort and ability to get around. Walked several miles today...no problem. I have high arches and tend to pronate a bit, and the Pinnacle Maxx took both things in stride. (Get it? "In stride"??? Sorry.) The inserts fit perfectly in my Asics Gel Noosa Tri shoes, and I discovered yesterday that they also fit in the Dansko shoes I just bought. The insoles that come with even good athletic shoes are completely wimpy in comparison to the Pinnacle Maxx, and replacing the Dansko insoles (which are actually pretty darn good) with the Pinnacle Maxx made the Danskos mega-comfy. BTW, fellow plantar fasciitis sufferers - the Foot Log foot massager has also been a big help and, I suspect, so has my diligence over the past several weeks in stretching multiple times a day.

Of all of the insoles that I've purchased, these seem to offer the most support and feel the best. I liked them so much that I purchased two more sets for myself and two sets for my wife. Virtually no shoes (no matter how expensive) have arch supports. Any time that you get a new pair of shoes replace the crappy insoles with a quality pair. Don't wait for your feet to fall apart like I did.

Oh my! That about sums it up for me. I've been using "Super Feet"inserts for years, at the recommendation of a sports doctor. I'd been running marathons and half marathons for years, so I've put thousands of miles on shoes. I guess I got to the point that my arches just collapsed, and that's when I started with inserts. I was using the green inserts, which is the highest arch support Super Feet makes. A friend of mine and I were talking, and he uses the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx inserts. I decided to give them a try myself, so I ordered a pair. I noticed something right away-they make these according to shoe size (no trimming needed), so the arch support is in the correct place. Quite different than Super Feet. I also noticed that the arch support was higher, and my feet/calves are very appreciative. When the arches collapse, the calf muscle will try and take over that job, so it stays tense. This is the problem I've had, even with Super Feet. I noticed that, after a run, I would need to stretch my calf muscles quite a bit. With the Powerstep inserts, I can't believe the difference! The arch support hits in the proper place and, the calves don't tighten any more! I'm sold! If you have need of a very high arch support insert, I recommend these. They're cushioned, high, and are a real delight to use!

This is the best discovery since sliced bread! After 41 years of nursing, one can expect the ravages of the job not only on the back but also on the feet. I inherited flat feet from my father but developed severe arthritis in the toes. I’ve been to two podiatrists who both told me “you’ve got flat feet!” No kidding! After coughing $375 cash for orthotics that made my foot go numb, I happened on the Pinnacle Max power step insoles! Looks just like the expensive ones and function the same way! Save yourself $345 and buy a pair—you won’t regret it, especially if you’re on your feet 14 hours a day like I am. Remember, when your feet hurt, it hurts all over.

This is my fourth pair of Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Orthothics. I tried every Dr. Scholls orthotic as well as everything I could buy in a Pharmacy or a store. Nothing helped. Then I saw these in a specialized website and decided to give it a try. Since then, these are the only orthotics I use. This insoles don't have much cushion, but their arch is superb. It holds in spite of my weight (180lbs). I hiked to Machu Picchu ruins with these orthotics and my feet felt very comfortable and never hurt. I can use them with my closed office shoes as well as with my sport shoes, since they aren't bulky.

I have been getting these supports at my new Balance store and they are extremely comfortable. I decided to try and find them here at a better price and I did. I am on my feet everyday for 9 hours on a concrete floor and these help to support my flat feet and keep them from becoming painful. The arch support is just the right height so that it is not uncomfortable. I will be getting these her much more often as the price is so much better and the supports are great. I recommend these to all my coworkers.

I've tried 9 different insoles for my flat feet because of heel spurs. These helped some, but I don't think they fit my feet exactly right so I'm going to have to keep looking. I'm not going to take away any stars because of poor fit, though. No insole is going to work for everyone. Also, these are by far the most well made inserts I've tried. Way better quality than any of the cheap Dr. Scholl or Happyfeet type and still much better than comparably priced Superfeet, Orthaheel, SOLE, Sof Sole, FootSpa, and Spenco. The only other insoles that come close to the manufacturing quality of the Powersteps were Samurai brand. They seemed to work about as well for me as the Powersteps. Definitely give them both a shot if you're struggling to find insoles.

Actually I bought the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Full Length Orthopedic for my daughter who over pronates quite a bit. She is in the ROTC at one of the large universities in the mid west and they require quite a bit of running and marching. My daughter would get terrible shin splints, so me being a runner I did some research into the cause of shin splints, one of which is over pronation. I read some reviews I found through Google and the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Full Length Orthopedic was ranked at the top for its effectiveness in dealing with over pronation. I ordered from Amazon and had the orthopedics shipped directly to her and then put it in the back of my mind. About 2 days later I got the most excited phone call I have had in the past 4 years - my daughter was ecstatic - in her words "I can't believe these things, I just finished a long run and for the first time in my life I didn't have any shin splint! No pain - no nothing. These are fantastic, they are wonderful - these make me happy". Well she went on to thank me for finding the right orthopedic which was nice. I'll get her a few more pairs now that we have something that completely resolves her shin splint issues. I highly recommend trying these.

I have heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet and moderate over-pronation. I put these inserts into my shoes and by the time I walked to my front door (approximately 20 feet) my feet didn't hurt! Wore them all day long and could tell a huge improvement. My feet were tired by the end of the day, but hadn't given me any pain at work for 9 hours (standing and walking on concrete floors)! Can not tell you how much I love these and how pleased I am with the purchase. I would definitely recommend these!!!!!
