This is the perfect bass for beginners or your first one. Nice sound. Has built in pick ups and a tuner.

This is my first acoustic bass ( I've played electric for many years) and I just love it! It's beautiful and it sounds amazing! It feels nice to play and I really have nothing bad to say about it. Highly recommended for anyone transitioning to an acoustic.

Out of the box everything is is perfect condition comes with crisp bright strings action is great, tone is wonderful built in tuner works great and is easy to use haven't been able to test the pickup yet but if its any reflection of everything else it will be great

My Grandson loves the Ibanez Acoustic Electric Bass. Sounds awesome

Sounds great. Beautiful guitar.

OK. I just started playing the bass about 6 months ago so take that for what's it worth. However, I am a bit of an audiophile and have been a vocalist for many many years. Also, I have been around long enough to know that if you don't start out with good equipment (for anything) you end up creating bad habits to compensate for the poor equipment. After all of the reviews, this Ibanez seemed to be head and shoulders above anything with 2X the price range so I went for it. So my experience??? AMAZING! She is not only an absolute beauty, the sound is very rich and very solid. I have a lot of friends who play guitar and when I played her around those guys they were all smitten. One guy said "Dude, I have been playing a toy all this time." and upgraded his guitar within a couple of weeks. I plug her into my Fender Bronco 40 and usually play for an hour or two almost every night and I could not be happier. Beautiful Bass and Warm Rich Sound. You won't be disappointed.

I compared this with other major name brands in this price range and up to $600, this Ibanez has superior sound with rich intonations and none of the others came close. I've owned it for a year now and love playing it, it is well worth this price.

A fun bass to play for the money. Low string action with no buzzing frets.
