Works wonderfully
Wonderful!! In our yard we have red clay, a sandbox, chickens and the normal amount of yard work too. This scraper has really helped clean the shoes and boots on the dirty days and has really helped cut down on the amount of trash the rug at the back door has to catch. I will be ordering another when / if this one wears out.

Dance / scrape away the mud and snow ...
i waited to submit a review. i've used this in the mud of autumn, preparing the garden for winter. Yesterday was our first snow storm - over 10" of snow. This is superb in removing mud, snow, slush - everything. The construction does not 'scratch' the footwear [used while wearing BOGS, and SLOGGERS footwear, as well as snow boots]. It's easy to use, and is wide enough so that while scraping your shoes, you don't lose balance. To clean, just hose it off, when appropriate, or let the scrapings [mud] dry and sweep away the dirt. If space is a concern, just stand it up in the garage or mudroom, an then lay it down on the ground to use. It doesn't have to have a permanent spot. Very stable - the scraping movement / dance of cleaning your shoes doesn't cause the scraper to 'walk away'. It stays put. Best i could have chosen, and the price is perfect! Thank you.

Bargain Priced for Quality Boot Scraper!
Oddly as it sounds, these Boot Scrapers were priced so attractively, I actually bought several of these as stocking stuffers and gave them away as gifts this last Christmas. Everyone that received a boot scraper was very pleased with such a thoughtful gift! These are made from tough materials that should last a long time outdoors in the weather. I personally use them at my doorstep and also in my Camper to keep from tracking mud and debris indoors. Since you place one foot on the mat while scraping the other foot, it stays put without sliding out from under your feet. Dirt and mud fall through below the mat, ready for the next use. Highly recommend these and they are much cheaper than I was able to find elsewhere.

"Herringbone" Coir Boot Scraper Brush, 2.5 by 12 by 13-Inch from Rubber-Cal
For the money I paid for this boot scrubber mat, I am quite pleased. I purchased two, for $10.99 each and as a Prime Membership holder, I got free shipping for these items. I have a front door and a covered patio and each get one. The front door is covered and this item is protected from most moisture falling from the eaves. The Patio is dry and I am anxious to see how long these last, as the metal is not mentioned to be stainless steel and I do expect rust over time. Nothing Metal touches the concrete, just the material that the wire is wound around. Over time and with use, the fiber will squish down and maybe then the metal will touch, but maybe not. The product is from Sri Lanka and is stated to be made from Coconut husk Fiber and G1 Metal Wire. Coconut husk fiber, also called coir, is the fibrous material found between the hard interior shell and the outer shell of a coconut. Brown coir is made from ripe coconut, while white coir is taken from an unripe coconut fruit. See Photo. The coir is airy, open and wiry in texture. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, coir is the most resistant and thickest of all commercial fibers. Brown or red coir is typically used as a material in making brushes, floor mats, mattresses, rugs, carpets and insulation panels. Thus this mat and now, the G1 metal wire is most likely Galvanized metal, but I did find a G1 wire on ali baba, offered as "Excellent affordable G1 Titanium wire ! ", so possibly it may be this product. My two mats, see photos, work well in the context of my wife's other mats, which one is also coir and the other worn almost completely out of it's usefulness, but this boot mat works well and should serve it's intended purpose. I hope this helps others who want to avoid tracking yard junk into the house and the wrath that can cause, from said wife.

Extremely effective
I bought these as "Christmas gifts for the house". Well, it has been the gift that keeps on giving...giving me respite from vacuuming and sweeping for the last 6 months! I've seen a HUGE difference in the amount of dirt tracked into the house, these are easy and effective to use, they don't move around and don't have to be nailed down (as long as you are standing on it with both feet, which is honestly the only way I see using it). It brushes your shoes clean of mud, pine needles, twigs, sand, dry or wet grass, and even (yuck, I know) dog and deer poop (after THOSE cleanings I hosed down the shoe-brusher, tossed it in a Tuppertote tub with some soapy bleachy water, rinsed it with the hose again and let it dry in the sun. Still works great, no rust or loss of fiber, and we've done that at least three times since December.) The people using them vary from ages 8-70, and no one has had a problem using them. I strongly recommend these. I'm actually buying another for a different door.

This product works!
We have owned several of these over the years and the true test came when we gave two to our friends who own a home out in the country. The mud around their home has always been a problem and they would have to leave their shoes outside before coming into the house. They put them at the entrances to the back door and garage and were amazed at how they remove the mud from their shoes. They like the simplicity, you stand on on side and scrape with the other side. Yes, the mud does build up in the brushes, but is easily cleaned with water from the hose.

Good product
We live in a rural area with lots of acreage, wooded and fields. We are constantly outside in all kinds of weather. This helps keep my entrance free of dirt and little stones. This is our second one in six years. They hold up well and do a good job. Easy to use and convenient. Keep at the back door outside. Withstands all weather.

If you work outside a lot and come back in the house you cannot get by without one of these.
Living in Florida, and working in the yard, coming back in to get something to drink, going back outside by the end of the day what I was doing work to be attractive dirt for my terrace toward to the refrigerator. I have seen plenty of these around but for some reason bought this one, it is great I put it right outside where I come in wipe off my feet with a couple good swift kicks in all the loose dirt from the garden gets brushed away and left outside instead of dragging it inside. it really works like a charm takes up almost no space and save me the hassle of having to mop inside were undone working outside and that is priceless!

The Best
Really; I have two versions of this design and they are really excellent. This one cleans the bottoms and sides of my boots when I return from doing what I have to do with the livestock. The wire binding keeps it rigid and allows dirt to fall through. The open design means that water doesn't accumulate underneath and when I rinse it with the hose it drains off without getting soggy. Very well made.

Great for all those muddy boots.
This is great from the muddy shoes and boots. We will see how long it holds out. The pro for this item is that it does not have to be attached to something with the bolt like other boot scrapers. This one is lightweight and can be moved around wherever it’s needed and can be held down with 1 boot while you scrape the other boot. I hope it doesn’t wear out too quickly.
