This is a great product! It leaves you feeling soft and clean. Great for use as a detox therapy. Here is my favorite recipe for a good detoxifying soak: 1/4 cup Sea Salt 1/4 cup Epsom Salt 1/4 cup Baking Soda 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar Favorite essential oils if desired (I use 10 drops of peppermint or lavender for relaxation, eucalyptus and peppermint to clear up congestion)

If you've ever floated in the Dead Sea, you'll probably remember the 'texture' of the water -- a water that almost feels slightly oily against the skin, but it's not -- it's the unique, dense mixed mineral profile, and quite unlike ocean water. I've never found that in other brands of Dead Sea salts, but one good handful of Minera in a tub of warm water brought that memory right back -- it feels so much like the real thing that I was looking around for the mud! You might also remember that half an hour soaking in the Dead Sea can make you feel like you just took a couple Xanax -- that's partly the greater oxygen at that low altitude, but partly breathing the mineral-rich air. I never expected to get THAT from mere bath salts, but a long soak using Minera was extremely calming and relaxing, and definitely unlike the other brands I've used. Finally, and the reason I bought it -- a recurring contact dermatitis problem cleared up after soaking the area with Minera-salted water for a few minutes twice a day for just 3 days. It is very drying, like the Dead Sea, but also healing. I was a skeptic -- how different can one brand of Dead Sea salt be from the others? I didn't think any of them could capture the real qualities of the Dead Sea. Now I'm a believer -- Minera is as close as you can get, and is the only brand I'll use from now on. Last thing -- if you've ever soaked in the Dead Sea, you remember being cautioned: DO NOT get it in your eyes or your mouth! That's good advice with Minera, too. It's not 'Sea Salt,' folks, and it's not going to make 'salt water.' Use it sensibly.

Dead Sea Salt is amazing and this product is fantastic! It's full of nutrients and 21 benefical minerals that heal and detox your body, while relieving joint and muscle pain, achiness, soreness and tension. It softens, hydrates and cleanses your skin, opens up your pores and increases circulation. It truly makes a difference in your body and health condition, particularly if you suffer from mental, emotional and/or physical pain and tension. I just made an incredible joint/muscle pain relief & detox bath salt blend using anti-inflammatory, analgesic essential oils (including rosemary, peppermint, lavender, marjoram, rosaliana, black pepper, helichrysum, frankincense & more), organic hemp seed oil, organic jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, MSM, magnesium flakes, Dead Sea salts, Epsom Salt, and organic rosemary extract. I added a bit of mica and voila! The colorful, aromatic bath salts came out perfectly and I offer them to those who suffer from pain, muscle spasm, tension, arthritis, fatigue and more. I highly recommend these Dead Sea Salts! It's very easy to make your own bath blends using this product. ♡

I have used epsom salts by the same company. I had read a review by someone that has major skin problems and recommended trying this. I am sold! I have chronic dryness with some body acne from time to time. My 5 year old son also has some skin issues as well with dryness and acne. I am sold on this. The smell of the salt did bother me at first, but I do believe that this has improved my skin over empsom salts. I use a couple handfuls for myself and one for my son. It does take time to see any skin improvement; however, the body acne seems to appear to be clearing up very quickly! Highly recommend!!!

After suffering with a skin condition on my face for a while. I ran out of solutions. The topical steroids gave me acne, and the second i stopped using them my face would explode again. This has been the ONLY natural remedy that actually has worked for me. I can't tell you how much this is worth buying if you have ANY kind of skin condition. It really works, it burns as much as salt does in a wound. That's because it's salt. It's not pleasant, but it works. HIGGGGHLY recommend. dandruff, acne, it fixes it all. Wash it on, let it sit for 5 minutes, and rinse it off. Follow it up with a oatmeal based lotion. Amazing.

Difference in complexion in days. I used two thirds purified water to one third fine salt. Wash face with gentle soap. Dab solution (pat, pat, pat; don't grind it in!) with cotton ball on face, not eye area. Leave on. Go to sleep. Wash face in morning. Addressed zits, did minimize pores in nose area, and appears to be evening out skin tone problem areas from healed blemishes. Did not leave my face with redness, dryness, or other trauma at all. Working for me. Bagged up all other facial-correction-concoctions and threw them away. Sometimes, 'less is more' - this is a nature product, and I like that.

I bought this for my husband who has been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis for years. After the dermatologist prescribed a super expensive shampoo that seemed to make the issue worsen over time, we read about using dead sea salt instead. Boy, was this stuff a god-send! We filled a spray bottle with water and a couple teaspoons of Minera Dead Sea Salt (fine grain) and he would spray it on his scalp about 20-30 minutes before his shower. In the beginning, he felt like it burned a little bit. The next day after using it for the first time, no skin flakes! After a couple days of using it, the redness went away and it stopped burning when he sprayed it on. If he goes without it for a week, the itchy red breakouts start to come back a little bit though. In order to free up some time, we made a shampoo out of the salt, coconut oil, lime juice, and ground oatmeal. He finds it soothing on his scalp and it has been working wonders! We keep buying more whenever we run out just to make him some more shampoo.

I contribute this product to the main reason i got rid of my adult acne. my regime: #1 I got a plastic bowl, filled it with distilled water that i got from my berky water filter, then i added a scoop of this salt into the bowl of water. #2. wash face with water. #3. dip wash cloth is water and lightly rub the problem areas of your face. mine is my chin. #4. rewash face with water from bowl. #5. IMPORTANT, let air dry. That's it. I do this at night and i no longer have acne. I am 31 and have dealth with acne since a teen.

my 5 month old son has sever eczema and I've tried everything under the sun. This stuff works. I add a couple handfuls to his nightly bath and let him sit in it for about 15 to 20 minutes. it is the only product that has relieved the redness and constant itching. Now need to figure out a way to add this salt to some kind of lotion.

I purchased the fine grain Dead Sea Salt crystals having received no encouraging news from my dermatologist that the sebhorrheic dermatitis which was residing on my face, would ever settle down or be easier to live with. I took the lead and did some searching for holistic/natural methods and found that using this salt as a face wash demonstrated a large improvement. I was willing to give anything a try that didn't involve prescription medication/steroids. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely excited to see the redness reduce and the burning subside. I use CeraVae wash to cleans my skin followed by a warm solution of water and Dead Sea Salt crystal splashed over the affected areas, then rinse with clear water; pat my skin dry and then if any scaling or tight feeling patches I use a think coat of Aveeno Eczema Relief. I have been following this regimen since late 2014. Sometimes my skin is so clear the SD seems like it's completely cleared up. My satisfaction with the Dead Sea Salt crystals has been exceeded. Thank you San Francisco Bath Salt Company for "saving" my skin!
