Great music playing amp for fitness classes
Great little amplifier. My wife had an old guitar amplifier that she used for many years to play music for her various fitness classes. I replaced the speaker in it a few times and the speaker went out again recently so I decided to give this a try. So far so good! This amp works great as a small public address speaker, guitar amp or as a music player. I saw other reviews that said to not use it over 1/4 volume but this has not been a problem so far as she uses it regularly at 1/2 to 2/3 volume most of the time.

Great small amp. Small price.
Looks good. Sounds good. Fit and finish are great. Inexpensive. Couldn't be happier. Actual product does not look exactly like the picture. The emblem on the front just has the pyle logo, no vamp lettering. I don't care. You might.

More than I expected
I did not expect this. Its WAY smaller than I thought. Half the size of my 15w Crate lead amp with reverb minus the reverb. But what it lacks in size, it makes up in pure volume and sound. Fully cranked I got 0 feedback from this bad boy. It was loud enough that my son playing a 4 pc real drum kit did not drown it out. We could safely jam songs together in his room. this amp is cheap, and it is perfect for practice sessions. You're not gonna play clubs with it, but you could play a small gathering no problem. The clean channel is a little more quiet but the sound is good. Overdrive is crunchy and dirty enough for rock, harmonics, anything. You can not beat this little amp for the price.

Awesome ampifier!!
Very powerful and clear sound for the price. I have a Fender frontman 15g right noext to this amp, and the Pyle is substantially louder. I had it up to 3/4 volume with no breaking up, static, or any other degradation in the sound. The gain for distortion is no where near as good as with the Fender, but a seperate distortion in line module is very inexpensive and will make incredible distortion sound. Would highly recommend this amplifier.

Great Inexpensive Amp
I am amazed at this amp. For the money there is nothing even close. I would say this compares favorable if not better than the entry level name brand amps that cost more. So far this amp has worked flawlessly for me. And even though I started playing guitar almost 50 years ago I quit playing about 40 year ago and am relearning. I don't play loud but this would do that if I wanted.

BETTER DEAL than any Fender, Marshall, Peavey, Orange and Line 6.
I played guitar for more than 10 years and tried several amplifiers. For some obscure reason, amplifiers are very expensive. I mean, for what you get at the end, they are really, very very expensive, and If you would like to start playing electric guitar in a band and you are not a neurosurgeon, and would like to actually hear your own guitar over the dam drums, the expensive common brands offer your extreme prices for tiny amplifiers. The ridiculous 10-15 watts amplifiers are almost useless in real life. Pyle-pro 60 watt amplifier is the perfect starter-amplifier for who wants to be present at gigs with friends and actually hear his own guitar in the middle of the chaos made by the usual overexcited drummer. The speaker is solid, middle-sized, and powerful; the distortion is not great, but you can buy a $25 distortion/overdrive pedal on amazon and the amplifier will sound better than an overpriced common brands.

Worth the money if shopping for volume.
This is a very good amp, I did not expect what I got for it being such a good price. This amp really vibrates the eardrums and has a rich clean setting with a nice grungy overdrive for a solid state. I have been able to get a 45 watt reading out of it and it still sounded decent, so the speaker is of good quality. Has a decent bass power, not as powerful as a bass amp of course but still a good bit.

Loud!!!
Great buy!!! This is loud!!! I don't think you can possibly find a an amp with more power for less (about $90 with shipping). Both the high and low inputs work, minimal feedback, lo/mid/hi EQ works, and the reverb is nice too. I actually haven't tried the overdrive setting on this amp yet because I usually use pedals. If you're looking for a practice amp that you can also use at small shows this is your guy.

Pyle-Pro PVAMP60 60-Watt Vamp-Series Amplifier With 3-Band EQ, Overdrive, And Digital Delay
Value guitar amp. Compares to the Fender Rumble 15/25/40 watt series, the Champion 20/40 series, perhaps also the Fender Frontman 10G 10 watt (completely enclosed cabinet product) as an open back cabinet. There are no pre-programmed voice profiles or Functions. In that regard, it's a higher wattage and feature rich version of the 10-15 watt Fender & similar guitar store brand units that lack overdrive & reverb. Those competitors that do have overdrive & reverb lack 60 watts of power of the PYLE. Where profiles & functions do apply, the PYLE lacks the Champion's 20/40 watt units profiles & functions, yet delivers on 60 watts vs 20/40 watts. I think if one is going after profiles & functions, the Champion, as well as the Mustang series base models are what you're looking for. It's a practice amp and maybe small gathering gigging amp. The speaker is an 8" size. There is a hum to it, it has 2 input jacks for low & high input (guitar output pickups are either active & passive styles of pickups). Since it's a retro classic style cabinet, that's part of it's character. Volume control gets 5 stars, it's loud and relatively responsive. Sound Quality gets 4 stars, the hum in overdrive is the 1 star detractor. Light Weight gets 5 stars, if my scale is accurate this one goes 17.5 lbs.

Good Amp for Home, Practice or Performance.
After reading the reviews, I was skeptical about buying the amp. I bought a cheaper used version, and I am amazed by the quality of this amp. It does have a strange smell to it, and no serial number is present on the back of the amp either. It definitely packs a lot of power despite it being short in size. I bought it to replace an amp I had been using, but wanted one with more power. I would highly recommend this amp for someone who wants a good guitar amp that does not want to pay $200-$300 for one with similar wattage. The sound is clear, and does not produce any noticeable hum as I had seen in other reviews. Well worth the money, if Amazon ever gets the 120 watt version back in stock, I will order that one as well.
