A Classic Candy for Everyday

Like the taste of Coke or M&M's, Werther's Original hard caramel candies are classic and evergreen and pretty much everyone has tried one sometime. So if you haven't tried one, walk into a Seven Eleven and grab a pack, they are delicious! It's perfect crunch and caramel taste makes for a great treat anytime. I purchased this dual pack to place on my coffee table. I like to have something delicious in a bowl on my coffee table for that welcoming feel (like when you go to a restaurant and they have a bowl of mints at the door or the smell of freshly baked cookies). I had Wrigley's in there before and needed a change. These are perfect, they have been going surprisingly fast, everyone who comes over grabs a handful, it's like I put out a snack for every guest with no extra work! This dual pack is enough to fill the bowl three times over and will probably last three months (I've been measuring how many disappear a day). If you have many regular visitors or need candy for trick or treaters (as Halloween is swiftly approaching), this is perfect. Almost no one can hate this inoffensive candy and makes a great treat. If you are running a cafe/restaurant/waiting room/open house, these makes a inexpensive inoffensive treat to add a warm touch anywhere. This is the best price I've found so far, so if you're in the market for a massive amount of delicious candy for anywhere, this is it! I'll be purchasing another set for Halloween.

Good Candy & Funny Story

Granny's favorite hard candy! I bought her a several packs when I bought her the "Flinstone's chewables with IRON" her doctor said she needed to start using for her anemia. I knew that the vitamins were going to taste bad, so I told her to pop one of these in her mouth as a treat when she finished the vitamin. She is almost 95 and has mild dementia. Since she lives in another state and I am hundreds of miles away from her, I rely heavily on Amazon to get her things to make her life just a little better/easier. A week later, she asked me if I had ever used Flintstone vitamins because she wanted to warn me that they taste awful. She thought the nurse that comes by to take set up her medicines and that takes her to take her to Dr. appointments had bought them. I reminded her that I was the one who sent them at that I also sent Werther's to use as a "chaser" because I didn't think she was going to like the taste of the vitamin. She had forgotten I had told her that. So she says, "Well it's a good thing I have several bags of those hidden away. I don't know where they came from, but I just love that candy. Some days I eat 4 or 5 of them. I don't put them out in the candy dish 'cause I don't want anyone else eating them up." I told her that keeping them hidden was fine as long as she could remember where she hid them. :-) For some reason, the thought that she could forget where she hides them was hysterical to her.

Best Old Man Candy in the WORLD

Are you 80 years old or older? Do you want to be? Well, want no more, just buy up 68 oz. of pure, delicious, buttery, sugary WERTHER'S ORIGINAL candies and you too can feel like the oldest guy or gal on the street. After opening the bag, my back started hurting and I had to put on suspenders. By the time I opened up the first wrapper, I'd already found myself whisked away to my front porch, sitting on a rocking chair, yelling at parked cars for driving too fast. Thankfully the effects were only temporary, as I soon came to my senses after finishing my second delicious treat and realizing I had been asking the mailman to come inside the house to fix my internets because the Facebook was acting up like it had the gout. All jokes aside, by far my favorite old man candy. And I'm pretty sure two bags this size will literally last me a year (if I don't share).

Couldn't wait! Nothing sweet satisfies like Werth her's

delicious! so delicious that I may order it about once a year because I am addicted to the candies and eat them instead of meals What should last about a month lasts a bit over a week in my house. I don't think there is any other candy that is so delicious and habit forming. Here it is July & I couldn't wait a year. I found a lonely Werthers caramel in my purse, savored it, then went straight Amazon to order the big bag. My excuse was that I am going to put these yummy candies in Christmas gifts but I know I will have to order another for the Holidays. Anyone who has not tasted Werthers candies is missing out on a spectacular treat.

Good quality hard candy that does not disappoint. I mean if you don't like caramel, then don't buy it. It is smooth and has just the right amount of sweetness. I often get impatient and bite it because it tastes so darn good! Another thing... for an online grocery product the price is pretty comparable and the bag is big.

Best...WERTHER's ORIGINAL HARD CANDY

I received (2) 2 lb. 4 oz. bags...this is quite a bit of my very favorite. LOVE THEM. Look for this great offer since most of the time the price would be for 1. Free bag and good price anyway. If you love this smooth flavorful candy BUY IT at AMAZON...UPDATED...will keep purchasing since they are a favorite....the favorite probably UPDATED....same review....duplicate orders...will continue

Good, Old-fashioned Butterscotch!

I have bought these butterscotch candies several times now. Sadly, they don't last long. They are so good, you can not eat just one. I leave out a bowl, filled with them. Everyone, who walks by, reaches for one. We even carry a plastic bagful in the car, for when we get that urge for something sweet. Delicious candies!

My bad. So many flavors, ordered wrong one.

My bad. Changed review from 3 to 5 Stars. Purchased 34oz bags 2 in one bag = 4/34oz bags contained Werther’s Original Carmel Hard Candies and received flavor I requested. My mistake in ordering wrong flavor. I really needed Werther’s Original Carmel Filled Hard Candies. So many choices, but that’s a good thing. Will have no problem using up recent purchase in my house. Will be more careful next order.

PROS and CONS

PROS: GREAT PRICE Just got this using Prime free shipping and they were less than at Walmart TASTE - Never had a better hard caramel candy than Werther's! WRAPPING - Very nice quality wrapper, doesn't come unwrapped before you unwrap it. CONS: They're TOO good?!

Best Candy

Werther's Original Hard candy favorite over 20 yrs and still is, what can I say they are so good that I got to have them every day, leaves you with good taste and enjoy them just sucking in the taste. If anyone that has not tried this brand you will come back for more. Buy it and enjoy.
