Awesome product for my Garmin nĂ¼vi 2555LMT and I'm extremely satisfied. I'm one of those people who loves the convenience of having a portable GPS that isn't my primary phone and I'm always wary of leaving it in the car when I go into a restaurant or venue. This product does a great job of storing the GPS unit, the primary charging cable as well as the quick guide manual that came with the device. The shell provides a good deal of protection (don't expect it to last a drop in water though, it isn't waterproof) to normal everyday wear and tear and drops for reasonable heights. The one thing I should note though is that its just enough room for what I mentioned above; you CAN'T fit the actual suction cup or friction mounts inside of these. Otherwise I really like this product and consider it a must have for anyone who owns a GPS device.

Garmin 52 GPS fits in here well, but it would be nice to have a little more height in the case as it can be tricky to get the vehicle power plug and cable in here without having it press on the screen. Otherwise the case seems rugged enough for travel and packing in a suitcase. Bought for my dad and he has taken one flight with it so far.

Does the job. We needed something inexpensive that would protect our device, which we cannot afford to replace if something happens to it. It's a "hard" case, so it should stand up to a fair amount of abuse before collapsing. The charging cord fits nicely without being forced. I can't see paying for the original manufacturers' case when this is all you really need.

Very well thought out, has mesh stays so it wont flip open and drop contents. Mesh pocket inside is another nice touch. I use it to keep my Zumo 595lm in my motorcycle pannier when I'm off the bike, keeps it from getting scratched. Also keep my vehicle documents in it, in the mesh inside pocket, to keep them handy and not get lost or trashed.

this AmazonBasics Hard Carrying Case for 5-Inch GPS seemed decent. I liked the quality, except I didn't like the elastic that keeps it from opening up all they way though. I actually bought this case in hopes that it would work for my Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L with it's cable and charger. Sadly, this case was too small for my needs, so I returned it.

I bought this case to carry my cigars and lighter for daily use, after I take a few at a time from my humidor. For that purpose, I cut out the elastic bands that kept the lid from opening all the way. It works better for my purposes like this, and was a very simple fix. It is a sturdy case, and will work well to keep my cigars from getting smooshed (technical term). It is a little larger than I needed, but will fit in a large pocket.

This item is sold as a GPS carrying case and it does the job perfectly, but it can be used to store many other delicate items as long as they fit in. I have had this for more than a year and no problems so far. Pros: - It is made of a considerably rigid material (thick cardboard or something like that) and a good quality synthetic fabric coating. If you put this in a confined area where it sits with other items, the rigid material protects the possible damage or scratches that comes from outside -There is a pocket type separated area where I put the actual device (you may prefer putting notes and other stuff in as well). It is of elastic structure and keeps the device tightly in place so that it does not jump around in the case. Besides I put the device facing outwards and this ensures any additional stuff you put in the case does not scratch the actual gps screen (for me no additional screen protector is needed) -The interior is quite spacious and the GPS charger can easily be put in that space with all cords and everything. Cons (nothing major but still something to mention) -Although it is rigid and that prevents harm from outside mostly, it does not have a soft pillow type buffer zone to minimize the impact so if that item falls from 5-6 feet (like the top of the fridge) the impact may still be bad for the device itself. -It would be nice if it had a handle for easier carrying. Conclusion: My overall impression is that this is a reliable storage for a GPS device. Does the job perfectly for a 5" one and for the quality it is a good value for money. I believe it will last for a long, long time...

This case is everything I hoped it would be. I've had my GPS for a few months now, but put off buying it a case since they were all really pricy. $19 for a SOFT case? No thanks. This AmazonBasics case has been out of stock for a long time, but I waited for it to become available since they were charging $10 for a hard case. It came back into stock for $8 and change! When I first ordered it, all I was hoping for was a case that could comfortably hold my Garmin 1450LMT. It holds my GPS in its little pocket and has room for the charger as well. Note: don't expect a hard plastic, completely crush-proof case. It does have a little give when smushed together. Unless you're lugging it around at the bottom of your tool box, you should be good to go. Well done, AmazonBasics. Well done. <3

The case The more I try Amazon Basics products the more I'm impressed. From HDMI cables, USB Hubs and cases they never disappoint. What is more, the products trump many competitive products costing far more. Strong, dependable and great build quality, the case was purchased for my Garmin Nuvi 52LM which has turned out to be the best, most dependable and non problematic GPS I've owned. Some nice touches are: * Rigid outer shell * Tight weave nylon cover * Great steel, self locking zipper * Top and bottom inner straps keeps the unit stable * High density cushion foam interior. Occasionally, I'll carry a small external drive in this case, such Passport by Western Digital which makes this case quite versatile for other uses as well. I'm also a fan of the Frustration Free packaging, it's a great alternative to having to use a buzz saw to get those hard plastic product casings off - not to mention they're better for he environment. Certainly for the price, you'll be hard pressed to find this level of quality at twice the price, let alone under ten bucks. And of course with a PRIME membership you get FREE two day shipping to boot. Making this deal just that much sweeter. Highly Recommended

I recently purchased a Garmin 50LMT-HD (5") and needed a case so I can put it in my purse when not in use. I went with the Amazon Basics because I have purchased an Amazon Basics camera bag in the past and it was very nice - this GPS case wasn't any different. It has a nice hard case (still a bit flexible) on the outside and the inside is lined with a soft material to prevent screen scratches. It also has a separate mesh "pocket" inside as well. I actually put the GPS in the pocket and the cord for it in the main section. I am glad I purchased it (initially wasn't going to). The price and quality are great!
