Quality design & construction.
This Lowepro Lens Case, 11 x 26mm, is a near perfect/custom fit for a Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens - including the lens hood when the hood is not mounted, but reversed & stored/slipped over the end of the lens. There is about 3cm of extra space between the interior of the case and lens; Good for an extra filter or two, plus lens cloth or other small items you may wish to carry. Quality materials & everywhere: thick & dense protective padding, solid zipper; clean & nice construction. The neck strap is quite adequate & fairly soft/smooth on the edges, so it won't feel as if it's cutting into your neck. The carrying strap on top of the case lid is convenient for quickly grabbing your lens. Nice to have a flat side to the case, so it won't roll around if you lay it on its side. Glad I bought it when I did; The price jumped about 25% in the last 2 months. (hate when that happens)

Great for the Tamron 150-600
When I opened the package I thought oh dear I have ordered the wrong item. It seemed enormous until I popped in my Tamron 150-600 and it fitted perfectly. The reason for the bulk is the superb padding, I suspect you could drop this without any damage being done to the lens inside. I have the Nikon case which I bought for my Nikon 200-500 and this is better, although the Nikon case will accomodate a body attached if necessary.. It is also less than 1/3 of the price. The only thing I would change would be a better strap, the one provided is a bit narrow and I would be prepared to pay a bit more for a better strap.

The Lowepro case is a perfect match.
I purchased the 13x32 cm Lowepro Lens Case for my new Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED Vibration Reduction Zoom Lens. The Lowepro case is a perfect match. The Nikon soft case and the lens both fit into the lowepro case without binding - giving it that added protection. I can not compare lowepro to any other case because over the years I've only purchased lowepro products for my camera equipment. The first case I purchased was for my Nikon D70, then D200, D300 and next the D610. This will prove how much I like lowepro products. I even own the lowepro commercial aw gear bag. I friggin love that bag. Got it from a camera shop that was going out of business and the guy sold me the bag for $75.00. I don't know any other product names - just Lowepro!

Fits the Nikkor 1000mm f/11 Perfectly!
Love this item.... I realize not many people will benefit from this review but for the few who are looking for a bag for the Nikon 1000mm Reflex lens, look no further! I don't always take my 1000 with me so I was looking for a way I could bring it ONLY when needed. This bag allows to be strapped to the side of other LowePro bags and fits this lens perfectly. Additionally, you have a little pouch at the top for your 39mm filters so they are always there if/when you need/want them. great construction, very flexible easy to access.

Well made. A bit larger than I'd like for my needs.
Well made. A bit larger than I'd like for my Sony E-mount 55-210 telephoto lens. The case fits the lens and hood fine, but I'd prefer something more compact. I am looking at other options, but worse case will keep this case. Seems tough to find lens cases for the narrow E-mount (APS-C) lenses. UPDATE: I'm returning this Lowepro case and will use this case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009GA6CJS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The Ape Case is about 80% as large as the Lowepro, which may or may not matter to most. I'm a lightweight traveler. The smaller an object is, the more likely I will pack it. That said, this Lowepro is still 5 stars. Well made!

Expensive lens? You need a great case! Not cheap but worth it.
A bit expensive but lots of padding and very well built. I feel confident that if this bag was dropped from 3 or 4 feet that the lens would be adequately protected. It has lots of straps on it and snugly holds my Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD lens. After spending almost $1200 on the lens plus another few hundred on filters the price of the case justifies itself. You can see in the pictures I posted the bag is pretty big and you might look ridiculous carrying it on your belt, not to mention you might not fit through doorways. It also comes with a strap for over your shoulder or around your neck. Overall a great product and its like it was made for my lens.

Great case for the Nikon 200-500
Was looking for a decent case for my new Nikon 200-500mm lens. I wanted something that was very well padded since I would probably be using the case as the primary carrying and storage case for the lens, and I also wanted something I could hang across my back. I’m a sports photographer who doesn’t like to carry a ton of gear while shooting. I usually just have two camera bodies, a 24-70 zoom and a 700-200 zoom plus this lens. This was perfect. It holds the lens snugly, the strap is long enough and seems durable enough to wear this across my back while I’m shooting, plus I have the option of hanging the lens off of a belt using the velcro loop if I want to. I’ve also found the mesh pocket on the inside of the lid very useful for lens caps, spare compact flash cards or batteries. This is a great case for the Nikon 200-500. If you have one, don’t hesitate to get this!

Great case and actually protects your gear
Great case and actually protects your gear! I initially bought it to carry an extra lens, but ended up using it for carrying my Leica 10x25 binoculars, and now my new LG G6 phone. It fits them both together. I use it during hikes and it is strapped to my pack belt. I can't even feel it's there, the set up is very light and comfortable. I already dropped it from waist high onto rocks several times, and no damage to my gear whatsoever. Phone is being carried without any "protective" case.

Lowespro is the BEST
Works great for my $$$ new model Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens A025-- what a mouthful. Protects my investment. Its big, but it's protected. The one shoulder loop is a little thin but generally speaking Lowespro bags, cases are absolutely first class and I own a small camera bag that has seen the world and it's still in pristine condition and amazingly functional.

Great Case for the Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Tele-Zoom Lens
I purchased this case to protect and carry my Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens. The lens and tripod mount fits into the case well, with enough additional room to carry the hood reversed on the lens and a couple 95mm filters, along with an additional strap if necessary. The case is sturdy and looks to be very well-made. Although it is a 'soft' case it has an abundance of padding in all the right places. It looks like it will do a great job of protecting and carrying the lens. It is high-priced, but considering the construction and the great fit to my lens, I think it is a great value. Highly Recommended!
