I used scrambled eggs as my test for how "nonstick" these truly are and I was not disappointed. With my previous ceramic set of pots and pans they required non stick spray and still there'd be eggs stuck to the pan. Well, this time, I barely had anything to clean. I haven't used every piece yet as I got the big set, but so far what I have used has been great. They are lightweight and as such require less heat to get warm, this means they heat up faster, so you can start your cooking quickly. I haven't tested out the dishwasher safe part, but I don't use a dishwasher on anything, so that's the only reason. I would definitely recommend these to others.

I have owned a lot of cookware and did a lot of research before purchasing this product. If you do not care about using your pots and pans in the oven, this is the best non stick cookware you are going to find under the $700 price point and maybe even at all. This is NOT normal T-Fal cookware, the coating is COMPLETELY different and much more hard. I have owned a few T-Fal Ultimate products for over 7 years and have used metal on them many times, they still look and act brand new. If you are looking for a premiere set of cookware that isn't for oven cooking, look no further.

I love these pans. I've had them now for 6 months, use them almost daily, and they look like they just came out of the box. There's not a scratch or blemish on them. Hard anodized aluminum is a little-known and misunderstood material. The anodizing process turns soft, malleable aluminum into a material that is almost as strong as cast iron, at a fraction of the weight. It's the perfect material for pots and especially frying pans. (One tip, ignore the gimmicky red dot, just cook as you normally do.) These pans have all the advantages of cast iron without the need to first season them, will never rust, will never require heavy scrubbing, and, apparently, will never scratch or dent. They preheat evenly and retain the heat almost as well as cast iron, but have the advantage of faster response time when the heat is adjusted. They can handle a pretty high heat and put a great sear on a steak, chicken breast, or piece of fresh salmon. And absolutely nothing sticks to them. I know this from experience; I was making a pot of marinara sauce one night and fell asleep in my lounger. Three or four hours later, I woke to find the carbonized remains of two cans of San Marzano tomatoes. I thought "Well there goes that pan." But after letting the pan cool down, the debris wiped right out with a piece of paper towel. The pan was unscathed; a quick wipe with a soapy sponge and it looked perfect. I also like that this set includes three different size sauce pans, rather than the usual two in these kind of sets, plus a large covered Dutch Oven. Whether heating a can of soup, cooking a pot of rice, or making a batch of stew, this set has you covered. I'm a retired professional chef, and you can take my word, these are as good, or better, than any professional quality pots and pans (some costing as much or more than this entire set) I've ever used. They are versatile, and will handle any of your cooking needs. I only have one negative thing to say about my purchase. I paid $10.00 more for this set when I bought them! :( Just kidding! I couldn't care less about the 10 bucks. They are worth every penny I paid for them. But they are a really great value now! And no, I was not paid or compensated in any way for this review, although I wouldn't mind if I was. I just know what I like, and like to give credit where credit is due. T-Fal made a great product at a great price, as the Amazon's Choice designation indicates.

So I just got my set today and I'll be updating my review as time goes by. As many reviewers have already stated it comes in a regular brown box. There was no damage inside and all the pieces seems very solid but not overly heavy. I plan on hand-washing them mostly with occasional dishwasher use. Update 1. Made some steaks w.o oil and 0 issues. Also made steaks with oil and again 0 issues. I hand washed after and inside looks brand new. Bottom has some discoloration. Update 2: 1/14/18 : I used the smallest and mainly for eggs and they had stuff lipstick on it. You have to use a good layer of oil or spray to prevent it. I have a small brown spot I cant get off because I guess when I sprayed I missed a spot :/

Wifey wanted a new pot and pan set, she said she needed one, as she does most of the cooking. Needless to say, I picked a winner. She loves it. This set has it all. AND the easy to clean portion is a winner for me. I researched multiple different brands/sets. From online to department stores I chose this one and glad I did. Pros: Wife cooks more (she is a killer, good cook) Durable Even heat distribution Cleaning is easy Cons: Makes me want to cook more Family of 4 and we seldom eat out. We use some items 3 or 4 times a week and the others once or twice a month so it has everything we need and then some. 5star.

Had this set about a year. Most of the pans have gotten a lot of use. The square pan gets used daily. There is ZERO observable degradation of the non-stick surfaces even with the occasional use of metal utensils. No scrapes, dulling, or anything otherwise. Just as non-stick as day one. They clean up super easy too. Fairly heavy gauge. The temperature indicators are not that accurate and only reflect high heat. One caveat is that the bottom of the square pan is super slick and slides off my porcelain burners too easy. Paid about 145 on a lightning deal.

I just bought a house with a glass-top stove. My old cookware (22-year old T-fal non-stick) was way overdue for retirement. I needed something that would not scratch the stove top and had been considering stainless steel for a while. I did a lot of research, asked for friends' advice, etc. I chose T-fal as the last set had lasted fro 22 years. I wasn't sure if I wanted something that wasn't non-stick, but bit the bullet and bought this set. I LOVE IT! I followed advice and instructions and cook everything on low to medium heat. I'm still trying to figure out how to fry eggs, but that's also part of getting used to a new stove and cookware. I didn't have enough oil in the pan when cooking something that stuck, so used a little backing soda and vinegar with a nylon pad and it came right off. Handles stay cool as long as you don't set the pot/pan where the handle is directly over the heat source. They look great and cook great. Very happy.

I decided to replace ALL of the pots and pans I have..... I'm almost 50 and had the hugest collection of old crap that was still functional,,, buuut you just hate the idea of replacing when you could use the money on something else. Well, It was bugging me enough. I bought 2 extra pans, plus two of thisr set. (we use pans a lot). OMG, these are awesome. Very tough, and work great. They're heavier and take a few extra seconds more to heat up but they also don't bow out in the middle and turn into distorted woks. In all I think I spent maybe $110, I had 4 pans this size, two medium and two smaller, then also the 8 pots (2 of each size) all with very nice lids. I've even resorted to being super lazy and just throwing everything in the dishwasher,,, why? Because I can and it's awesome. They clean up great and the nonstick has been holding up to tons of punishment. As a matter of fact, I stopped using our eclectic griddle which is also brand new but the nonstick in these pans is a thousand times better.

I love this set. I searched high and low for an affordable yet tough set of pans that I could use metal utensils on. After weeks (literally) of research I narrowed it down to these and I haven't been disappointed. Now, the indicators IN the pan do somewhat disappear when the pan is ready but not completely which I believe was a complaint. This is minor and doesnt bother me. Other reviewers also complained about warping, chipping, etc. When you unpack these they come with CLEAR instructions on care for longevity so if you aren't nice to them then they wont last. The handles are covered in a soft grip material and stay cool to the touch, the lids have steam holes in them, and they heat very well. The coating on the inside allows to pretty much not even having to use oil and I DO NOT use cooking spray on them either. I saw complaints about the "double boiler" or steamer or whatever you wanna call it but it works perfectly every single time to steam vegetables. No complaints here!

Just received this pots and pans set. Have not used yet, my initial review is to make note of the frustrating adhesive labels on the bottom of each pot and pan. Everyone has experienced this with products, you pry up a corner with your finger nail, start to peel and that little corner just tears off...then you pry up another corner, a little more this time thinking it will just peel off... nope, just another piece tears off, and it's just the top paper layer, with the adhesive still stuck to the item. Now I have to go fetch some equipment to help remove these labels, a hairdryer and rubbing alcohol. Time spent removing labels: 1 hour I've rated this product with 5 stars because I don't give bad ratings unless it's a quality or value issue. May update my rating as I use the set. Note to manufacturer: please use easy to remove labeling!
