I bought this as a gift for my 7 year old artsy niece. It came right on time. It includes instructions on how to use it and is also sealed in plastic. The thing I love most is that it has its own case so as to not lose any parts. This would be great for long car rides to keep your little one entertained. It is small enough to fit in a backpack for easy carrying.

Granddaughter loves it!

I had gotten this for my 5 year old granddaughter. She loves it! I really like the fact that it has a drawer to hold everything when not in use. I had this when I was kid in the 70's. My daughter had one when she was little.

Perfect gift for my 8 year old daughter!

This year for Christmas my husband and I decided to go lighter on the toys as Christmas is getting too far away from the true meaning. The kids received some clothes and some homemade gifts. We did get them each a couple of well thought out toys though, and this was one of them for my daughter who loves art and pretty clothes. She played with this for most of the day on Christmas. I have stacks of these drawings around the house, and they are really neat. It took her a few tries to get it down, but she got it, and I have to admit that I had a good time doing them with her. A half sheet of standard paper works perfect and you can use the crayon that comes (use it flat on it's side) or a pencil on it's side and then you can erase the lines. Wonderful gift for a little girl!

Great gift for young girls (and their moms)

A last minute gift addition for my 6-year-old cousin and ended up being the favorite present. She immediately started using it and was quickly surrounded by all the little girls at the party. They didn’t stop using it for the rest of the night. Brings back fond memories of my childhood.

Great fun!!

We love it. The only reason I give it four stars is because the drawer gets stuck and it is very hard for my daughter to pull out by herself. Updated: Called customer service about drawer getting stuck, they sent me a new one right away and it is has been amazing!!

Great fun for 8 year old!

I remembered these from when I was a girl and I thought my 8 year old would love it. She does! Larger than what I had as a kid and nicely portable to take to Grandma's house. Highly recommend for your arts and crafts fan!

This was bought for y granddaughter. She loves it so much! She and her pap played with this for hours. I brought her back to my house for a week after Chrsitmas. We had a gift exchange here. She had me go online and buy one for her Pap just from her!. This was really a big hit!

Surprisingly durable.

The girls in my class are so creative this year, i wanted to get them something fun to use. They loved them and once i showed them how to use it properly they were off! My students are only 4-5 years old so i was skeptical that the little latch would last, but it's still going!

FABULOUS Gift Girls 5-9yrs Old

This is a wonderful gift for little girls! My daughter got hers at 5yrs old as a birthday gift, and plays with it all the time (still) and she's 7yrs old now. I expect she'll continue to use it for the next couple of years. It's such a great girlie-girl gift that we ordered 3 for her friend's birthdays this fall. It's been a huge hit with friends so far! I highly recommend this toy for birthday gifts and hours of independent playtime with easy clean up and storage.
