Perfect!
I was torn after reading some mixed reviews on the Kandle. I wasnt sure if it would be bright enough and worried about the swivel.. I am VERY happy with this. The swivel is perfect, the light reaches to the bottom of my display and the 2 different settings are great! The wide double bulb covers the screen from left to right which is fantastic. I had a different light with just one bulb and found myself shifting it back and forth constantly so that my screen would be lit enough for me to read. Very annoying.. I don't have a glare and am finding it to be perfect for my Kindle and I!

Kandle by Ozeri Flex in Black-- 2nd Generation LED Book Light for the Amazon Kindle DX with leather cover
The Kandle by Ozeri Flex will provide a strong, private light for your Kindle reading. I've used this LED light for my Kindle DX, and also with attached leather cover. The Kandle's clip will fit snugly over the Kindle or over the folded-back leather cover (two layers of leather/board), but NOT both the kindle AND the leather cover, so it might take you a few moments to properly attach and adjust the clip. The light itself is bright, both in regular and high-intensity modes, but battery life is not as long as suggested in the manual 24 hrs per double pack of CR2032 )- approximately 16 hours would be a better estimate. The stiff, yet flexible lamp neck allows for easy lamp-head adjustment. Despite the shorter battery life, it's a worthy accessory to your Kindle. This light would also come in handy for illuminating dark laptop keyboards, especially the slimmer, newer models.

My wife thanks me
After falling in love with my Kindle it did not take long before my night time reading started to impact my wife's ability to get some restful sleep. Enter the Kandle Flex. I have been using it nightly for several weeks now with no sign of the batteries wearing out. In my opinion, this provides better light for reading than my bedside lamp. Best of all, my wife is finally able to get some sleep.

Works great even with a case!
I researched a lot of lights when looking for one to fit my Kindle Touch. This one had good reviews and I'm glad I went with it. The light has two settings, and even the low one is sufficient for me. It clips easily to my Amazon Kindle leather case, so no problems there. I like that it is detachable and comes with a nice black case for traveling. Overall, I am totally satisfied with this light. Highly recommended!

Power Light!
I would highly recommend this powerful little light to any avid reader. I put it on my Kindle straight off and started reading. The light is very good, both the high setting and the medium setting, depending on how bright you like things. The light is designed very well and it is easily folded and stored in the bag provided with it. I love the flexible arm that allows me to position the light exactly where I need it and you can arrange it so that it will not leave any hot spot on the screen of your e-reader. The base of the light fits perfectly on my Kindle and does not slip around or cover any of the text what-so-ever. My husband and I have different biological clocks. He is an early to bed, early to rise person and I am just the opposite. With this light I can read while he sleeps and know that I will not disturb him. We also like to go camping and the light is perfect on a pitch black night in the woods. Don't waste your money on anything else, this one is perfect!!Kandle by Ozeri Flex in Black -- 2nd Generation LED Book Light for the Amazon Kindle (fits latest generation Kindle and all models), and other eBook readers

Kandle for the Kindle
Kandle by Ozeri Flex in Black - 2nd Generation LED Book Light for the Amazon Kindle. I own a Kindle Wi-Fi 6" E Ink Pearl display, and I thought I would purchase a Booklight, since I am always reading in different lighting. The Kindle works great in all types of light, however, it was dim sometimes when reading at nighttime. I picked the Black Kandle, since my Kindle skin is in my favorite color - purple. When I used the Kandle, it attaches to the top of the Kindle, although I tried attaching it to the sides of the Kindle, but it didn't hold on. I like to rotate my books, so I thought it would be nice to have the Kandle on either side. The "pluses" are: * LED lights provide great lighting, with no extra heat generated. * The flex arm is strong and holds the position, once the user finds the optimum position (lighting, etc). * The padding inside the Kandle does not scratch or damage the Kindle skin. * It easily folds up, so storage is not a problem if you are traveling. It is also lightweight. If I could change anything about the product, it would be to have it attach on the sides like it does on the top of the Kindle. Also, it would be nice if the flex arm would be about 2 inches longer, so the bottom of the screen could be lit up, the way the top to middle of the screen currently is. Thank you for a wonderful product, I am happy with the purchase.

Best E Reader light around!
ok, I am a traveling nanny and I love gadgets! I have also in the past bought at least 5 other e reader lights for my Kindle. Either the push button switch would turn on a the wrong time and run down the battery or hard to attach to a Kindle case. I saw the review on the Kandle video and thought the light wasn't even. So I investigated and invested in the Kandle Flex. Great buy! The light is even all down the page, easy to attach to a Kindle in a case (mine was the great Acase case)and loved the way it folded into it's own self and slipped easily into pouch. Some worry about the "round batteries" but I see that as the wave of the future. Keeps the weight and size down. Plus, very easy to find and they come with an extra set. Since it has a switch, no worries about turning on accidentally. The light is even and goes all the way to the bottom of the page. So far there isn't anything I don't like about this light. I do wonder how long the bulbs will last and are they replaceable? Will let you know down the line...Great customer service from Kandle, write a review (they didn't say it had to be positive) and they will send you extra batteries as a "thank you". None of the other ereader lights I have purchased in the past came close to this one. So if it lasts in a travel nanny's bag, I can see this as being my last light to buy!

GREAT Kindle light +
Two levels of brightness is such a great option! Most often the lower level is plenty for my needs and my husband especially luvs it - no lamp shining light on his side of the bed :) I even use the light from the Kandle to light my way for the last preps before climbing into bed without disturbing my husband. I really like the flexible arm for positioning the light exactly where you want it and that I can easily position the Kandle on the top, right or left side of my Kindle and it easily stays in place without blocking any portion of my screen. The light is evenly distributed over the page which is a big plus for me. Very happy with my Kandle - it even came with extra button batteries despite the fact that a set of batteries has a long life in this little gem!

The Kandle Flex is almost perfect.
The Kandle Flex is a great light. I use it for my Nook Simple Touch and it fits great on it. The light has two settings for brightness but the lowest is plenty bright for me. I like that the arm is flexible so I can adjust it when needed. I still have not had to change the battery yet and I have had it for around two months. The only problem I have with it is with the clip. I just got a case for my Nook and the clip doesn't flex so it won't fit over the case. I can still have it clipped to the Nook when its in the case, but if I close the case it sticks out. If the clip could adjust or was flexible it would be the perfect light. But I would still recommend it despite that. I give it a 9.5/10.

The best light for kindle
Since I have lost 3 others of these ( this is my 4th) at family/friends house, never to be found, hmmm. ;). This review covers all 4 of them over the last 1 or 2 years. I have tried other lights but for me this is the best. I have never had it loose brightness so maybe those that did had a week battery or defective Kandle. I also have never had it not bend easy and/or stay in place where I put it, this too may be a defective Kandle. If you have these problems, contact Amazon and tell them you think it is defective and what it is doing/not doing, wrong. If you have a cover on your kindle you may need to play with things as this is a tight fit. With my cover on my new Kindle (no keyboard) I need to take the top inside corner of the cover loop off my Kindle (I leave it this way and case/cover cover closed or open, no danger of the Kindle sliding out.) .
