The Right Tool for My Uses

Works flawlessly for me. But then I only use it to burn data disks to back-up my photos (I am an amateur photographer and have thousands and thousands). I see lots of reviews here that appear to be folks trying to make movie DVDs. This is not the product for that. Back when my sons were in high school I made a lot of movie DVDs. You need much more expensive software for that.

Easy CD & DVD burning review

I was hesitant to purchase this item with all of the negative reviews. I finally figured nothing ventured, nothing gained. The item shipped fast. It installed in about 10 minutes and works great. If you just need basic functions this product will be fine. If you want more options, then you will need to spend more money. I am using this product on windows 7 and I have no complaints.

Works as advertised, but seems to run all the time.

When I bought this product, I thought it only worked on demand. It seems to run in the background from startup to shutdown. I would like to stop that.

Simple and useful

I was looking for a newer copy of Easy CD for my father-in-law to use on his new Windows 7 computer. He had upgraded from an old Dell XP box. The old box had an ancient copy of Easy CD, that would not run well on the new 64-bit Windows 7 without issues. He was very comfortable with the old tool and did not want to learn something new (he is in his 90s). Most of the newer CD/DVD packages include a lot of fancy tools for video editing and picture processing. These things are great if you need to do that kind of work, but he just wanted to burn CDs/DVDs of stuff from his music collection to share with friends. Although the interface is not identical to the really old copy, it was still as simple and straight forward and he quickly learned to get what he wanted done without the confusing complex interface of most newer tools.

Excellent Product - Excellent Price!

Had roxio Creator - Special Edition 2011, but was having trouble. Wondered if it was caused by my upgrading to Windows 10. Bought easy CD&DVD burning for 1/3 the price the Special Edition 2011. The programs works very well. Easily made backup copies of program discs. Even made a copy of a DVD movie. Also able to drag photo folders into the program and able to burn a DVD easily and quickly. Roxio no longer includes the date on the program title. I suspect this program is an older program, but it easily met my expectations. I'm using Windows 10 with 6 GB RAM. I looked at a lot of other burning software programs, but decided to select Roxio. I've used Roxio burning products for over 10 years. I seldom write reviews, but decided to after seeing so many of the critical reviews. Unlike a lot of other programs, a DVD disc is included, making it easy to install the program, even after reformatting or changing hard drives Excellent product - excellent price.

Roxio Easy CD and DVD software made my Win 7 under my control again.

I am so pleased with this software. I have Win. 7 with Office 10, and have found as I moved farther from Vista, the CD burning became more unstable. I refused Win 10, as there was no Media Player at all. This loaded on my Win. 7, making it as good as my Vista, and better than Win 10. I had control again.

Easy CD and DVD Butning 2011

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 10. The program I had installed for burning data discs was somehow eliminated during the upgrade. I searched on amazon.com for a program that would be compatable with windows 10. This program came up. I purchased it and it was delivered very quickly. It works very well with windows 10. I am completely satisfied with the program.

Save your money and buy this one.

Thanks for having this item available and of course the price was right. I read a few comments and someone stated that it didn't work in Window 10. I don't know what happen to him but it worked just fine on my computer. I had this burner before and it works the same. Big question would I recommend this burner the answer is yes in a heart beat. This is one of those point and shoot items. Maybe is was to easy for some. Great for me.

CD & DVD burning software

After reading several reviews, I wondered if I should purchase this software. I purchased it anyway, and the installation went smoothly. I am running Windows on a Mac Pro with BOOTCAMP. I tested this software with Windows 7 Pro 32-bit and 64-bit versions, and Windows 10 Pro 32-bit and 64-bit versions. It has performed well in all of these tests. The Easy Cd and Dvd Burning software doesn't perform as well Toast Titanium running with the Mac OS, but it does what I expected of it.

Works great and very easy to use, great price too! Not sure why so many people had trouble with this....I have Windows 10 and 64 bit laptop and it installed fine and works great. Used to have this Roxio on an old computer so I was happy to find it again...Roxio is simple to use.
